Not bad! It gets too easy a few tiers in on turrets and the main weapon. I found that the explosive weapon worked better for me than the first electric main weapon. You could expand on this game by making weapon upgrades more of a "tree" style, allowing the player to choose between bullet, explosive and electric style upgrades. Same for turrets. At some point, the waves seem to stop getting more difficult. I agree with a previous comment that there should be boss heckpoints, or at least tougher enemies as it progresses. Maybe an occasional change of scenery, different rooms with platforms or other challanges. Maybe short cut-scenes every few levels where you have to retreat to a different room and seal it off between waves? All in all, it's a great foundation for what could be an even better game! 4/5

It would be better if you had a health bar as well and certain bots would attack you instead- like ranged ones. Also, why is it that all of the bigger robots fly in a straight line?

Does this remind anyone else of the scene in the matrix where the sentinels come in and they have mechs almost exactly like this one to shoot em down?

@Rater193, Wave 15 is rather easy actually,
You must hit the giant green blades so they return to the machine. You can't hit it otherwise (switch weapons and see for yourself, the bullets go right trough it)

Wave 10 is impossible. It seems the miniature easy bots always shield my bullets, which I believe to be unbelievable when you have tens of thousands of them coming at you at once.

"Congratulations! You have been randomly selected to defend our city!"
"Damn it, this is one of those Nigerian credit card scams, isn't it?"

"OH SHI--"

i have got a idea for improvement and it is that it would be a good idea to see if you can make the repair button the shop (or whatever you call it) lower the price such as ok so it cost 500 kg at the momment so say you only have 9% health left to repair exactly so make the price lower auto to say 400 401 402, etc because it repairs 10% that way if you don't need to repair anymore and don't need to waste money to see if you need to repair anymore since alot of the time so far for me it gets really close to full health so close that i can't tell so i buy it again so say it repairs 13% and you need to repair 4% and it still costs 500 make it lower the price auto to a good amount so you don't waste money and don't need to use money if you have it fully repaired thats all i got right now it becomes.

I could repeat what has been said: why jump? repetative, no skill needed, etc, etc... but on a positive note I like the graphics, audio is good (sfx, ambiance), and it has potential - it was fun the first couple of levels! This feels like a first stage of much longer game. look to PTfasd for some great ideas!

"Oh. So....These machines killed everyone, except you! Well since you're so lucky here is an honor from us. You, only you, get to defend the city! Why you? Well you were randomly selected of course! Now go out and beat those effing machines! If you lose well, we all parish, no pressure no pressure. Good luck random lad who's name I do not know. Good luck."

So wait. A random, untrained civilian is able to fend off multiple waves of machines, but well trained soilders that could have had mech suits too, died by robots that are too enthralled by that shiny metal door to attack the player. Sounds about right. :3
Anyway, as what other people have said, ti comes down to mindless shooting while walking back and forth. As someone said, tracks on the mech suit would be better because there is no actual place or time to jump. More upgrades (Ability to reinforce door would be really helpful for me), enemy types, and if you're going to have jumping enabled, then have a vantage point (like somewhere on top of the map), to jump to.
Other than those, loved the game, it was fun to grind for metal to see the new weapons and upgrades for turrets.

robot 1: hey, what if we kill the guy in the mech suit?
robot 2: Don't be ridiculous just ram against this seemingly indestructible wall.

After maxing out my computer controlled death cannons my job was relegated to "scrap bitch"
I didn't feel much like the hero they said I was in the endgame.
Oh well, at least their perception, however wrong I think it may be, got me hot chicks.

Over all it was a pretty good game, I you put in more weapons, different options when "leveling up", and some new senery this could be alot better.

for anyone who is stuck on the boss that shoots big green blades you are meant to hit the blade so it will go flying back to the boss and kill it

I warn you: That cart boy is evil! Whatever you do you can't kill it! Shoot bullets trough it's head keeps on living shoot with thor's cannon at him he keeps living. I think he is a machine that has succesfully infriltrated the dok.
