Just to thank very one for their feedback and playing Reprisal. I didn't think my first game would do so well so that's been great, really chuffed. Will be releasing tweaks soon.

The last few levels can be easily beaten by simply terraforming to a high elevation, holding down the fort until you reach 500 Mana, then using Water Storm to sweep away the competition. Lather, Rinse, Repeat.

Great game, some things that would make it even better; 1) A fast forward button. 2) Allowing our cursor to affect more than one tile at a time, it gets kinda tedious when you want to make a huge base, leveling each piece of ground one at a time. 3) Some way to rotate the camera or move it

Little known fact: the only thing stopping primitive civilizations from becoming sprawling empires was very small hills.

Pro tip: In the options menu change the mode from "Artistic" to "Basic" This will make everything easier to see and all in all make the game more enjoyable.

Not sure if this is a bug, but at some point my people just refuse to build more houses. I have vast swathes of open land around them, and they just wander over it even tho' my "colonize" button is clicked.

Never mind about the glare. You can switch the graphics mode in the options. I'm glad I tried it; it runs more smoothly and is easier to see.

I've noticed that the shoddy AI for the warriors is part of the difficulty - getting them to do what you want requires cleverness, and I understand that this adds to the game - but when they eschew battling the enemies less than a screen away to go after enemies far further off that aren't even connected by a landbridge, I think their decision-making and pathfinding might need some work.

Very nice. Altough there could be a key combination for raising/lowering a whole area of terrain, instead of just having to click at each grid individually.

Really enjoyed the game but terraforming is too OP! I just finished any level by terraforming into massive empires and overruning everyone

Does your hero get stronger the longer you rally troops, because when you rally them the first one turns into a leader and the others just dissepear when arriving...

am I doing it wrong? Because every single level has been cleared by terraforming massive flat areas and generating a huge army of knights. I don't use any skills other than terraform.

How about something that describes what each totem does exactly? I find that some aren't really explained untill you try them...

My hand is killing me... but it's my fault. On every level I choose to ignore the objectives and level all the land around my people until they accidentally win for me.

Pardon the language... but holy shit. This reminds me of solstice. The music, the gameplay... wow, this brings back memories. Great game in my opinion

armaggedon is the most bizarre thing I ever seen in a game.... please explain us WHAT the hell out is happening when you use it!?!

I'm sad now... Whirlpool cost 200 instead of 100... I loved using that to sabotage the enemy at the start of the game... (>;-;)>@

nice game, 5/5, but one problem on final mission ( The begging) after i defeat last enemy, i got the message Good Job leader, but then game freeze.

Am I the only one who never does what he says and just builds a giant army while blasting them with whrilpools and lightning?

The terraforming can be a bit awkward and we are beyond the days of the Amiga, so perhaps something easier to control?
There's been a couple of games where you could click on an existing height of land and then click-drag the mouse to push other land to the same height.

Superb idea, but you really need to fix the cursor. I keep shifting the wrong patch of land, and it even shifts when I'm trying to move one particular spot. That didn't happen when I was playing Populous on the SNES. Speaking of which, how about using hot keys for Terraforming? Instead of switching with the space bar try A to raise land, S to lower it. That would make it quicker and easier to use the most basic and essential power.

I would love to see a sandbox mode where you choose the totems and cpu and enemies you'll fight and choose the type of land your on. That would be awesome.

If I had to change anything about this game, I would change the view boundries so you could see with the entire screen, instead of having the corners totally unused, and I would make it so you can pick your skirmish settings, or at least have a re-roll button or something. Other than that, great game. (Oh, maybe a speed selection)

Fire Column is the most OP spell I've seen for the purposes of precision bombardment. Once you figure out how to target specifically the enemy cities, and you have sufficient mana generation, it makes Fire Column utterly devastating for enemy logistics, preventing them from getting any reinforcements from the cities behind the frontline.
