Great game! Graphics Glitch. The island goes under water level, it looks like those paradoxical images- is it going in or out?

This game's biggest flaw is the lack of explanation of what to do, you're told that the tool can raise and lower land but it doesn't really tell you what you're supposed to do, turns out what you're supposed to do is raise the land and have your civilization on the same level of land in hopes to have it prosper, but it doesn't really tell you that at the beginning. Once you find out how to play it's pretty good.

It definitely feels like a long tutorial, maybe just unlock the extra skills as you progress, winning when you get them feels repetitive and a bit cheap in some cases.

Kinda easy, you only need to make more flat land until you have enough people/mana to curbstomp everyone. For few later ones, it's instant win once you got enough mana for the flood spell.

@Costagero if you use a fire power on a forested area, the fire spreads faster and burns down the forest, good for mass attacks on enemy villages. oh, and i love the music in this game, but it needs a level maker.

Unless I'm missing something, I don't really understand the love for this game. Every mission is make as much flat land as you can and then click the fight button. Maybe toss in a storm if you're bored. Wins every mission with zero effort.

Leader:we're terraforming to make it easier here by making only a huge plane of flat land with no mountains!guy on mountain:...hey,whats that noice?oh god.. the're terraforming AAAH MY HOUSE!!

only thing i could find 2 make it better would be some ingame achievements, a customizable hero that the player could manipulate, more visibility and being able to choose your culture n.n GREAT GAME!! ITS GENIOUS!!

ugh im at 83%.. have to stop, not from difficulty, but from it being so repetitive... 25 lvls would have been just as good.. every level i just terraform a big square platform around my initial base, and then set to attack. throw some fire pillars here and there.. bam 30 level beaten. was populous really this dull? i only played the demo of populous 2 when it first came out and it seemed pretty good.

If you are digging to sea/lava level, and the enemy is on a mountain, the height difference allows you to just terraform away their village. Might want to add a check of some sort to prevent me from winning end game levels from just using terraform to wipe out their whole village. I would also like more control over the directions they go to build new buildings, but that is just a personal thing.

hey, i LOVE this game, and its just SO awesome but, being a noob like i am, is there any way to add like, cheats or maybe just a version where you yourself can edit the mana, or flatten larger pieces of land?

Nice game, it reminds me a lot of Populous. However, this game has two current problems when terraforming. #1. When you raise the land, every click seems to move the mouse cursor to another location. I am not sure if there is some minimal movement on the mouse axis when clicking that causes this, but it makes it feel like I am constantly fighting the mouse cursor. The "click and drag" terraform helps some, but it seems like this should be a fixable problem (include some sort of "tolerance" to the mouse movement when clicking if this is indeed the problem, or figure out whatever else it is). #2. At the edges of the map (the map, not just the screen), the cursor will disappear at times when terraforming. This game would be even better if these two problems were fixed.

i do like this game but it kinda gets a lil boring after a while, gonna have to get the 30 levels in several goes. i think if there was a way to make the ground leveling a little less of a grind then it might improve things, maybe for a sequel. I'll be coming back tho so it's not all bad :p 4/5.

Hahaha, I really enjoyed this! though the only way I got through it was by building giant mountains and drowning the rest of the world 500 mp at a time...

@dryfter That's exactly what i was trying not to say, no ones copied each other, there just some one elses interpretation of a genre. Yeah ideas are borrowed modified and improved upon, but last time i checked that's a large part of the media industry and even the industrial & engineering industry. For example, Alexander Bell didn't invent the telephone, he just improved upon some other guys ideas and made it practical.

@ xcona lol CoD totally copied MoH :D i get what you're saying, but you must be too young to have actually played them, since MoH came out 4 years BEFORE CoD. (which btw, happened to be around how long it took to develop CoD, which pretty much shows its a blatant rip-off)

Haha, nah it was the totems and controling nature reminded me of From Dust on the 360, i've nevered played Populous. Still, this is a pretty good game, and i'm not saying you've copied any one, because that'll be like saying CoD and MoH are copying each other.

i see in the response's that your making a MMO if its like Reprisal it'll be awesome (+ agree) it need's more control over the land i took me a while to get it right and i only realized that you could shrink land at the end of the game xD
