For those stuck on loadin screen, try a different browser, I used FF initially and done the same to me, using IE to play works fine, not the most ideal platform, but worksjust fine.

A strategy that worked for me: once you have the water storm totem, you should be able to win almost any level by terraforming your territory into a high mountain, focusing on builing a decently sized settlement, then literally drowning your opponents with several water storm waves. This also usually slows down any attacks in the meantime since it wipes out most landbridges.

All I needed to beat every level in the game: Terraforming + Fire Column
Just focus on building your empire for five minutes, and then when you see that you've got a substantial lead on your opponent, set them to conquer and go to work setting the enemy's furthest cities ablaze. You win everything forever.

I like this game a lot! But please check the grammar because there are occasional mistakes, like in the panel where it says «this is what you're used to, but be on the look out, there are a lot of other tribes in this area which YOUR going to have to deal with» obviosuly is YOU ARE :)
thanks!

Bug or Cheese tactic... If the opponent is building on tier 3 or high land you can Terraform down and wreck their shit. It should prevent this from happening like terraforming up, however, it does not. This tacti can easily beat any computer opponent that has the upper hand.

you need a restart button, not just a resign island button. It gets frustrating to have to start all over if you mis clicked.

Such a good game electolyte you should make another game with this graphic where we are supposed to have AI simulation like npc herding sheeps and more.

It would be cool if you could choose where the people build the buildings and in sand box what powers you have and how many people you play against, Just an idea :)
BTW good game

Just a few hints that might help others:
1. While Terraforming, click-and-dragging will create level land. Always do this to create the largest settlements quickly! Remember that raising land costs 10 mana while lowering land costs 20 mana.
2. Fire Column totem can immediately destroy a settlement if you cast it on the bottom vertex of the square in the middle of a settlement.
3. Fire Column and Terraforming is a cost-effective way to keep enemy settlements from reforming. It's like a Fire Mountain totem, but doesn't cost 500 mana.
4. On totem-capturing maps, you don't need to fight the enemy. You can often win the map quickly through smart use of multiple Waypoints. Just make sure you don't run into enemies or enemy settlements!
5. You can force your people out of settlements by terraforming the base of the settlements. This can be helpful when you want to get more people to attack immediately.

it could be cool if there was a terrain editor and put like the fortresses and houses where you want them during level editor

and even get all the land you need (after acquiring enough land for a few dozen large settlements start converting all the land into the highest point in the map and continue to do so until it's all flat or you win (most likely win first, only a couple of times was I able to convert the whole map into the level rught above sea level)
oh hey here is an idea, make the terraforming cost based on how much height difference you are terraforming at once!

great game but it's a little too easy. I mena I get people keep complaining about 19 (a particularly easy level...hmmm wierd that people felt the difficulty in that one over some of the others) though the difficulty greatly varies from level to level (some are wayyy to easy for how long you have been playing, and some are harder than others later on)
plus just building a large base is all that is required to win, however using whirlpool and lightning on the harder levels is about the most you need if your having a hard time (best two abilities in the game aside from terraforming...which is slow early and quick late game.)
it would be nice to be able to see more of the level, it's weird seeing the box around the view area.
also I think both decrease and increase in land height should be 20, otherwise you can just use increase and get a massive flat land (at any level really.)

would be nice to know what trees and leaders do...for now I seem to just need to terraform a nice large flat piece of land...and conquer the enemy...

ok....eeee... sow how do you play this game? i got my guys a load of nice flat land to build on in the 3d mission and affter they build it full they just cant win from the reds (enemies) even if i have loads more lands and stuff.... why is that?

@HorriblyConfused: Trees catch on fire quickly, and help the flamesspread farther. Use it in an enemy base, wait for the trees to grow, and then use fire. ^__^ Tons of burning buildings!
