all you people saying this game needs badges, just rate it high. adding comments saying, "this game needs badges" will not help. the administrators and developers look at games that have high ratings and then decide whether or not it should have badges. + to keep this up and to get this game badges

from what i read from the comments this game could use a shop a shop would make this game perfect u would only need to add money or use ur score to buy stuff or even like upgrade pts

AWESOME GAME!!! But would be better with (I know it's already said) a shop so you can use you're score; maybe a level system but it absolutely needs Kongregate HighScores - I want to have Badges for this game! And again: AWESOME GAME!!!

The crab is so cool cakes. Game is cute and addicting, plus the music is not the type to make me press the mute button. The idea of a shop is well worth the thought.

nice game, especially for your first attempt :). I agree with some other comments about adding improvements, and maybe make some of the earlier levels shorter to make room for more levels. Other than that, great looking game with a nice feel to it 4/5 x)

its good for a first time flash, but the fact that when you die you start with the same amount of health that you had (example, i has 3 health at start, died, went back to start with 3 health) is kinda lame. other than that, id give it a 3. improvements will bump it up.

sucky shooter... music is lame ... if boss kills you must go back and play the previous level, which i hate. on level 4 and have no motivation to ever play this again

I loved it! It was very good, and even when i maxed my weapon i still did not get bored because i wanted to see the next kind of creature or boss you thought up of. My suggestions would be not a weapon that upgrades with experiance, but instead use a form of currancy that you collect to buy upgrades. A two-layerd fish would be cool also. The laid back music was a good contrast to the action shooter the game is. 4/5

Levels are too long, very easy to max weapon, and a bit boring after that. The music doesn't suit the rapid game style. Could go with boss fights after every level instead of every other (epic boss fights are what sell top down shooters) and make the Mr. Nothing boss fight a little less impossible. When he's right next to you the whole time launching 3 homings every 2 seconds and you can't change the angle of your fire it gets pretty tricky

indeed not bad as a first game. got bit boring after getting weapon level maxed, maybe you should put more levels or give options to choose over some aspects of weapon at certain levels. for instance faster fire rate with lower damage, or opposite, so that you could make your crab's weaponry to suit your own playstyle. i'd give it 4/5

For your first game this is a really good game. A little more variation in the environment would of been great. Like maybe obstacles to dodge and special rooms to go into or something. Anyway good game.

Got bored when it was fully upgraded. 3/5 in my opinion, very fun game but the length (as in how long you can play without it becoming boring) is too short. If it was a bit longer I'd probably give it a 4/5, a lot longer and I'd say 5/5.

Astonishing effort for a first game, very well done! An auto-fire button would be great seeing that ammo's unlimited and there's nothing you're not supposed to shoot. Also as the gameplay's fairly standard throughout (inevitably for this sort of thing) perhaps some more variation in the environment - maybe have it set up as a vertical scroller, possibly with obstacles to avoid? Amazing first go at a Flash game, though, well done.

why is it that game developers dont put an auto fire option when ammo is unlimited? they think its fun to hold down a button the whole time youre playing.

...the surface is a nuclear wasteland. The ocean and sky have been covered with oil and smog (The Gasoiler), all the people that still live are infected with a global pandemic (A/H1N1) and everything is dominated by materialistic nihilists (Mr. Nothing).

i liked it at first. but then i realized that u cant really upgrade things outside of the game. i also have to idea what im collecting after i kill things. could use some instructions.
