Too much clutter on the screen. For a fast paced game, having something as useless as damage written without the option to remove it is very unnecessary and really detracts from the game.

I love this game, it has that nice retro feeling that makes me want to play it OVER AND OVER AND OVER again. 5 stars for you, buddy.

I love that this game isn't mind crushingly difficult. Nice music and I like the simple graphics. Is very fun and the trophies are reasonable but challenging. I don't see the point in having a story if you aren't going to do anything with it though. Then again, it is your typical "dark vs light" kind of thing, so maybe we are better off not knowing the tale :P Not trying to be rude. Just sick of that type of plot. Anyway, good game and would love a sequel perhaps with some background variety.

I FINALLY DID IT! My life is complete.....I 100%ed this game.....and made The ULTIMATE Gunship (I got that name from Joopie99) which is when you have EVERY upgrade at once.....maxed level

I was THIS close to getting the ultimate gunship (max rapid fire, max fire spread, max piercing, max critical, max regeneration): I upgraded all those skills to the max except for critical. I was at L5 for critical and had earned 4 of the 5 upgrade points for the final upgrade. Then I died...

It's a fun game, but I wish you could choose from different maps. It gets a little boring just staying in that one small area. Anyways, 4/5

I like those little retro explosions and the music is like dubstep. I still think it needs auto fire because clicking on M1 for 30 minutes isn't comfortable. The pixels are well made though!

Fun game, one problem I had was the pixel's I was supposed to collect looked a lot like the bad guys I was trying to avoid. Overall fun game though. Thanks for creating.

The power ups are all decent, but I have some suggestions for the second. 1st, the penetration power up should have a graphic or a different color to make it more fun. As it is now, you never know if it is working or not. Since, in order to get big multipliers, you need to slow down the leveling process, and later in the game it is better to level quickly to refill your health, let us burn some points in making them drop more or less pixels, rather than just more. The final "spread" point is underwealming because it takes away the three bullets center fire, and is only usefull later on when monsters are huge and close all the time. Consider making an ability to spend points that increase the drop rates of all the power ups. The game becomes very difficult after level 25 or so, about perfect for the amount of time it gets there if you try to level very slowly. Great game, still waiting on the second!

OK, here's some thoughts on Pixel Purge and what I think should be in the second. I have played the heck out of this game, at least 5-6 times a week. I like that it is a simple concept "high score" game. I like that it is better to NOT level, as the game quickly becomes impossible if you blow through the levels. It is an interesting twist, and Im not sure if it was really intended, but it makes the game interesting and different.

too many enemies and impossible to dodge if you have a azerty keyboard because you cant use WASD there (its like you would use ZQSD on a qwerty keyboard)

Tip: Invest in Regeneration at the start, it WILL help not to have to rely on health powerups all the time. Then, max out Spead THEN Shot Rate. This is because it's better to have a wide range rather than a death beam, besides, most of the guys die in one or 2 hits.

I was having trouble with this game because I'm on a laptop. Pulled out my PS3 controller and configured the settings just right, works like a charm. ^.^

you soooo need a hp up because the seekers can suround you easyly plus all the other monsters thus killing you. Advice: regen, pixel drop, speader, rapid fire, crit, and pierce ARE YOUR BEST FRIENDS always upgrade speader and pixel drop first. then make pierce and crit lvl 2 it'll be useful aganist those spawners. next get rapid. make regen max. and finally max up crit then pierce. and lastly magnet score is last to get

Moving a little as possible? i think it would be pretty hard to do all the time. It's better to max out your firepower by upgrading spread and then anything else, but i prefer critical. In this way they couldn't reach you even in higher level, also remember to always have blue "bubble" upgrade - it is one timer that shields you for damage. Watch out and do not upgrade any of pixels and points upgrades.

Very cool game! I have a sugestion for the second one. In the achivements, there should be an achivement for completing the beastiary. Also, I wouldn't call this a bullet hell. More like a Monster Hell.

The hardest trophy is the Platinum Chain (Kill 1000 enemies without getting hit). GUIDE: Make sure you get all other trophies before trying this one. That way you have more skill points at the start. Increase your spread fire and fire rate to max. After that it doesn't matter too much but DO NOT upgrade Magnet or Pixel Drop. The very best way to get the Platinum Chain, weird as it sounds, is to NOT collect pixels. Collect a shield, then stay in one spot and move as little as possible. This way the levels don't go up, and therefore harder enemies don't appear and it's much eaiser to kill things, just takes a bit longer. Always have a shield and if you have one, hover next to one just in case you get hit so one is always near you. The shield will be your best friend. If you get hit with it, you DON'T lose your combo. I got the PC on only level 6 using this method. + this to help everyone
