Good game, not too hard, but I'm having troubles with the achievements since they freeze my game every time when I get one. I guess that's my pc.

It should be really nice to have a "autoclick" function.
I mean, from when you start playing until you die you just have to keep the mouse button pushed.
Really nice game, keep up the good work :)

The difficulty goes up every time you level up, isntead of with time or score. Therefore, to score as many points as possible, try not to level up. Turret in one spot and hope you don't catch a lot of pixels.

Love it! It's like Invaders with an extra dimension; the upgrades are great (but could use some tweaking, as said) and I love any game with a Bestiary (Amorphous especially). Game play is non-stop adrenaline, which is great, but also necessitates an auto fire option. overall 4.5/5

I've developed this habit of playing games on armorgames when there's nothing new on kongregate and then the game I just played comes out on kongregate. >.<

the only throphy that was not too easy to get is the 1000 chain :S darn I been touched at 936, o well back to square one :S

You really need to have an auto-fire option. It's very irritating to have games that more or less expect you to keep your fist clamped around the mouse, leaning on the left button.

Ok, this game has some good things and some bad things. Fortunately the good things are more thanthe bad. It has nice fancy colors! It has upgrade system. It has nice music. It has an opening scenario. It has great Fx. Disadvantages are two things only, but vital. Sometimes, thunder fx are confusing, making you lose track of your ship (same color after all-white), and gameplay is a little tricky. Could be better on gameplay, that's why it takes a 4/5. Actually to be honest if i could put 3.5 that would be my rating, but snce i can't it took 4 stars.

Like many other games of this type, the actors are *MUCH* too large for the screen. After a while, there are so many on the screen at once, and you have to move so quickly to avoid them, that there are often times when the narrow field of view means running into enemies that you should have been able to avoid. *PLEASE* make everything at least half the current size. Grid Wars is a perfect example of having plenty of room to manoeuvre.

Finally something for the hardcore. Checkpoints are for the weak. This is like the Milon's Secret Castle of flash arcade shooters.

It's a decent shooter. The leveling system, as lugui said, is just too bland and doesn't offer much from diverse upgrades. But, the upside is that the controls are smooth and responsive, and the sound effects are good, as well. 3/5

i dont know the upgrades didnt seem that useful i got the hardcore platinum trophy on my first try and the kings were way to easy to kill

Pretty good. I almost quit after the first few seconds, but played on for a couple of minutes and the game ended up being kind of fun. However, as one person said, it seems a bit busy at times and it gets really hard to distinguish enemies from pixels. Starts becoming too cluttered and frantic (i.e., not fun) as the levels progress more and more. Good effort overall, though!

Good game. Needs a way to restart the intro. I missed half of it because I didn't watch the loading screen, so I had to restart to hear the "awesome narrator's voice".

+Pixels has two purposes. First, it's meant to level up quicker (combined with the pixel magnet). Leveling up faster will cripple you in the long run (somewhat), however you'll gain trophies and learn the enemies of the game quicker. The earned trophies give you more starting stat points, which then helps you in the long run. The second use is that it's a secondary form of healing. Leveling up heals you. If you're going for a strong healing build, leveling up your regeneration, magnet, and pixel drop a bit, will greatly increase your survival. There are many builds, and I've played them all. One way or another, each power-up serves it's purpose.

gukinator, that hardly matter when you *GET* to the high levels and don't have the necessary firepower to kill things effectively. You end up significantly behind the power curve which is a glaring oversight. The fact that *none* of the ship upgrades seem to be particularly balanced only reinforces the fact that +pixel is, intentionally or not, a newbie trap.

Finally! that platinum chain trophy was hard to get. But now I have them all! MUAHAHA! Seriously
though, I think this game was great. The trophies were well thought out, the action gets very intense (although it gets hard to see what all is happening later in the game) and the game was fun and challenging enough that I kept playing until I could get all the trophies. Good job and I hope I see another great game from you in the future!

yajin, pixel drop rate increase helps in later levels because you will level more quickly, which kills everything on screen and fully heals you, making it MUCH easier at those levels

This is like Amorphous +.....But like a shooter...And less achievements...And less monsters...And generally not as cool.....
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I like it. Getting tired of having to start over, though. Sometimes there's just no room to move. There needs to be more of a delay between hits on you.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
great game, but as others said the game should be harder over time, not based on your level. the magnet and +pixels bonus make the game harder (unless you maxed everything else) and trying to avoid the pixels as much as possible let you get 1500+ chain easily, thus making impossible scores

It'd be great if there was some kind of sandbox mode where you could pick what kind of enemies there would be, and how many there could be. Like having 40 Miners on the screen :)

Something that would help this game considerably, would be the occasional decrease in the enemy spawn rate, because once you hit a certain point in the game, you'll wind up with a constant barrage of giant grunts, which will block your attack from reaching the much more devastating enemies that are also chasing you around.

I got to the high score (gold) trophy, immediately died to a swarm of little purple guys, then realized i had to restart. I was mad, so i hit back, waited five seconds, sighed, and hit forward again. 5/5

The +shield upgrades *really* need to scale better. As it stands now, the last upgrade practically *doubles* your regeneration while all the early upgrades don't do much, at all. The weapons have a similar--though opposite--problem... where the early points are worth *drastically* more than the later ones. A general "scaling pass," on all the upgrades, in the game, would do wonders for balance (and overall enjoyment), imo.

Overall, it's a fun and well-executed game. There one GLARING issue, however; the +pixel upgrade (and possibly the +score one) don't help you! Pumping up +pixel, so you can level up quicker, HURTs you because each tier of enemy is tied to a specific level! You end up hitting a high level quickly but don't have the weapon strength to handle it! If you jump pumped weapons/etc., however, you'd level slower but you wouldn't get overwhelmed! The best fix would be to tie each tier of enemy to a time-based system (i.e. getting more pixels, earlier, could possibly help you, in the long run, or would at least be worthwhile) but, as it stands now, it's a newbie trap... which is sort of a shame.

Why are people getting angry that when you die you have to start over? It is an arcade game....
Really guys.. come on.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Good game but the whole starting-back-at-level-one-when-you-die feature makes it rather frustrating as far as i'm concerned. Even though I really enjoy playing it I'm stopping because restarting it pisses me off so much!

This is a good game with lots of potential to become a great game! I agree with many people on here and there is lots of room for improvement. 3/5 sorry.
