update - this bug only is happening with the core psion class when the killing blow is Sense + Hammer. if i just use hammer, they will die when they reach zero hp.

Darkfolk is completely OP... just increase his dex and power and buy him good weapons, and he can one-shot anything with his boom attack, including all the gods and the final boss!

So, I reached an impasse, the white fencer has too high defense for my lowly druid to hurt it. Also through the magic of druid-ing I made it so the fencer does negative damage. What do.

the druid is cool (unlocked by getting equip lvl 5 i think.) you change form then lower the enemie's power until he heals you

Gameplay is very good, I liked it enough to play it for awhile. However, I feel there are a few problems, and enough that I didn't want to play enough to unlock too many classes.
1. Luck is way too much of a factor on whether or not you can succeed.
2. Running away needs to either be more probable or less penalized.
3. I should be able to review what each attack does in battle
4. As others have mentioned, text scrolls way too fast
I want to re-iterate that i did seriously enjoy the gameplay, but I simply can't continue playing this game in its current state, since i cant do well consistently because i cant consistently find a way to heal (except with the cleric)

..and Storm literally makes any attack by the enemy useless!...but it has to be used after the 'legend attack' since using legend after storm nullifies the storm's effect..very useful against the gods- did not use a single potion against them!

Bard is a great choice! Legend+First attack clears everything. Legend converts weapon attack into Flute(Equipment) attack. So, invest all forging in equipment(flute) and not at all on the weapon. Since you do not use 'power' at all, u can also make use of churches which reduce power but increase something else eg: Necro. Focus on getting Dex since flute completely depends on dex.
Do not invest in weapon

Its cute and quickie-addictive, but it has a surprising amount of language. (Like, wow, the bat fight? No thank you.) On a side note, I agree with fathem that the text is nearly unreadable in battles sometimes.

the game would have been better if you as the player had more choices to do to keep your mind in the game and so you would not get as bored as i did. also i didn't like that when buying oil bottles, matinance keys, and so forth it did not tell you what the price was, or what you were going to get.
everything else about the game was great.

With a DarkFolk :
------Only Use BOOM skill. The two others are useless. If you miss your shot, charge one time and BOOM again. You need a good rune to just charge one time to make enough damage. ------
You need a lot of DEX to hit. 40 to One shot the guards from the 2nd floor.------
You need a lot of PWR and a good Weapon to OS.------
ARM is useless, echange it for DEX at the autel ------- At the end, choose SPEED from Spediphis. I One Shot Smith with 84 DEX.

With a Ranger :
- Buy a LOT OF Armor at the Defense Autel ( little guy with a shield )= +1 ARM -5 HEALTH
- Use the first skill with just one arrow : you become pratically untouchable if you have enough ARM.
- Stay in the first area since you can one shot a Robot and then defeat the DM in the pitt
- Finish the Second Floor
- Finish the Third Floor
- Take a Beer

Second Wind, is an old-school RPG that does some good, but there is problems with it. Mainly the entire game is based on luck, not skill. Which can frustrate those without no patience (me). The good? There is a lot of content in this game, with extra unlockables such as classes, when completing the entire game. It's a good game, but it's certainly not everybody's cup of tea. Decent game, EvilConker, I've given it a 3.5 out of 5.

A very clever game. Love the text, except when it speeds by in battle ( I know, like an older game does). Well done, a nice little work o art here.
