I really wish I could hold down or back to keep her head down or shield up... getting the timing on the arrows is crazy, as some times the cue comes as I am about to jump or duck, and she can only do one thing at a time. Got to level 3 in about 20 minutes... and now my eyes just hurt from trying not to blink while staring at the front corner of the game.

For who wants the impossible badge: the obstacles don’t come entirely at random. They come at random, but in some patterns, for example one duelist and two farmers. Once the first obstacle comes, slow down until you see or hear the next ones. This will help with the voice overlapping and with the keys failing (if you are too fast and comes too close from an obstacle, your key might fail). So in level five, speed up to escape, but as soon as you hear or see the first obstacle, remove the key and get ready: once you found which pattern is it or the next obstacles, speed up again.

Why I die in the game: 20% lack of reflexes or mistake; 30% because a key failed; Around 30% for mistaking voices, since they are really similar, including what they say and the intonation; and 20% because voices overlap and I can't understand what was said.
This game is difficult for the wrong reasons.

Does armor is purely cosmetic anyway? I thought that it will prevent one hit in the corresponding area, but it doesn't. Why should I hide some titties under the armor then?

There are exactly two things that keep ruining my concentration:Background-blending branches,and enemy voices overlapping!Also,I don't think anyone really sees the importance of this problem.When I said this to my sister and showed her the game,she kept laughing for some reason...

It would be really cool if the duelist would stab the rider behind my back after a failed charge. Also it's quite annoying that the farmer and the duelist have the same speech sound.

If you keep your eyes and ears open and play the game long enough, classical conditioning will do the rest. The only strategy is choosing when to dash; I found it was most helpful to dash through natural obstacles (branches, tents, and rocks) and stop dashing when human enemies (or arrows) appeared. This was more than enough to get me away from the riders, and made sure I didn't get into impossible situations (like if you dash while shielding from arrows and a branch immediately appears).

I can't pass level two! I try so hard but always mess up when the game sends out two vollies of arrows at once, because Hypolita doesn't warn you the second time around.

wow, its not really easy to reach level 5 and the bad news is , the level 5 is the hardest and takes almost about time which half of the story; it takes 7 mins for 1-2-3-4 (not talking about failures), while level 5 takes about 5 mins itself. well It took long enough for me to figure out to Jump over Hoplites rather than throw spears/block or doing other things. Also If she does not says "Watch your back!" or "Arrows From Behind" All arrows will come from front.

Music, visuals, voice acting are all pretty nice. Story's pretty uninteresting, but its really just filler anyway. But it fails in that one department unique to games... gameplay. Level 5 is just.... ugh. Even knowing this is supposed to be difficult, I can't call this good. Tedious difficulty additions from bad visibility, muddled/similar sound cues, tight spacing which practically assumes you're some kind of computer (made worse by the fact that the cues that are supposed to alert you to them are muddled together, especially annoying with the arrows where you practically ONLY have the sound cue), occasional non-responsive/fixed delay controls (especially with the slow-mo, which compound with ALL the problems earlier)... This is just all kinds of stupid. Can't tolerate this kind of cheap, fake difficulty.

I would probably love this game if it didn't suffer from crippling slow down. The audio queues for the archers (for example) aren't even remotely consistent. Getting two in a row like that is death sentence. It turns to a "mash and pray" instead of proper timing. Giving up on level 2 after reading other people's complaints.

Mayor flaw: you can't use input during slowdown. Result: Need to spam the correct button 2 to 4 times in REALLY QUICK succession to make sure to hit the timeframe. I really dislike this.
Also, a farmer after ducking arrows is sometimes impossible to kill. You're dead before arrow-duck animation is finished (only during sprint, though).
Still, really awesome game. 4/5

it would be great to know how much is left of the level distance wise, or the time you have taken to know if you have met the challenge or if you should give up... also, on my slow computer even the lowest graphics lag me death sometimes.. could you make a "minimalist" setting that could be purchased and only has the foreground, obstacles, enemies, and hippolyta?

Big hint. Wait for first to arrow sounds to happen then press back. works every time. Haven't beaten it yet, but definitely 5/5. Difficult, entertaining, and I love the story telling aspect. Too many grindy achievements though. Though you'll get those just by trying to beat the game. Also, this needs to be a Micheal rage quit. PLEASE UP THIS SO MICHEAL RAGE QUITS AT THIS GAME!!!

I got all the way to lvl 4 and almost made it to the end until i heard a crouched soldier coming up. Jumped and was speared by a riding spear man instead! Good Game

SPOILER ALERT!!! ... Made it truh the 5th Level... raises my arms and head to the sky while skreaming YES!!! I FREAKING DID IT!!!... just to see ,by looking back to the screen, that nakit girl were riped by a freaking farmer O.O ... Story End... WHAT THE FUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!! >:C
