it might help lag if you could turn achievement notifications to the end of the run
that way you don't jump a hoplite, get a notification which lags you out and miss your spear throw

The framerate on this game sucks immensely, regardless of quality. Also, why can't the horse jump while hippolyta is throwing a spear, seriously.

"I'm ready!" - low guy. "Get ready!" - duelist. Soon as I can get those two sorted in my head, I think I can get through this. Still, very mean by the developer to make them so similar.

Given constant increase of length together with difficulty of subsequent levels, it would be convenient to have some progress indicator to know how far you fared. It also seems to be unnecessarily bloody in some places — what are those tents made of? But the flow is nearly perfect making it engaging and pleasant to play. I also liked backgrounds, and music is fit well enough. Oh, and there's an armory on the left where you can cover that pair of bouncy distractors.

Doom, you can outrun riders by pressing the D key.
Also, this game desperately needs something after you die to tell you how far you made it (e.g. 40%, 70%.) The last level can take DAYS to complete, and without signs of progress it all seems terrible pointless.

The lag ruins everything. It's a good game, but I've died way too many times because it lags every I get an achievement

"I've got this now. Dodge this. Jump that. Throw a spear..."
*achievement pops up*
"Hey, what's that?"
*gets knocked down by a branch*

-_- I practically played the entire game before I finally realized the poor lady didn't have to go naked all this time.

No, no, no, scroll back up to the game. The game is good, but the rating has fallen due to people who rage-rate, so don't bother scrolling down at the comments.

Hopefully this guy isn't telling this story over a campfire:Hippolyta blablabla....(big pause, nothing happens, then you don't make the last jump over 10 minutes) that's not how it happened, for real, what was this guy doing all the time, huh? xD

@ashmad, it's hitorically accurate except they should have one cut off, since the amazonian culture wanted them to be better bow"men"

Some things I would recommend for people trying to get the impossible badge:
- USE YOUR EARS! Each obstacle will be described with a different sound, and you'll need to know to interpret what each sound means to know what movement you'll need to use to dodge the obstacle coming.
- Keep looking to the right side of the screen, so you notice faster the upcoming obstacles.
- Always keep sprinting (pressing "d"), and only stop doing this when you have to dodge an obstacle, then imediatelly start sprinting again. This must be applied specially on level 5, when there's also a soldier (?) coming from behind and the only way to escape from him is running faster than him.
That's it. Seriously, it seems like an "impossible" badge at first impression, but after some time and practice (specially practice), it easily turns into a "hard" one. Other impossible badges normally take some days to achieve. This one, if you keep practicing, may take only some hours (depending on your luck and ability).

Grrr. The only thing that gets me consistently is incoming arrows right after a tree branch. Is it even possible to pass? The game doesn't seem to react at A right after ducking.

Level 2's high-speed clear achievements seem to be broken. I have all of the other levels high-speed cleared (all I had to do was hold down D), but level 2 doesn't give it to me when I do that.

Get hold of an older computer that runs the game slowly. Makes it a ton easier to handle the multiple obstacles. Also, while speeding up to get away from the rider, slowing down before a branch will help you dodge it.
