Base guitar all day long. And IMHO first song from the Theater is easier than third from the Concert Hall to cover. More mashing but less jumping between buttons in quick succession.

@Balbanes You can toggle off Concert Lights in the Options. That made it a bit easier to see the prompts. (That said the difficulty spike there is still too much for me and I doubt I'll get this badge anytime soon, if at all. The fact only a few thousand got this one compared to the other Medium is discouraging.)

Guys, I finally found out how to mute the BGM! Just click on the stereo (right from the bassist), there you can press pause or stop.

Skip skip skip, When you get into the practice garage hit the Covers sheet (near the drummer, on the back wall). Load a song. Practice (if you want). One you've got the gist, hit the Go To City pamphlet (other side of the drummer). Select the garage. Select one song, perform it. What an unintuitive interface.

5 minutes later and Im still no where near making anything. what a spiteful and nasty badge of the day! I can live without it so nope, didnt like and relegated to the same avoid like the plague pile as idle games. If you want to have more flexibility and a wider choice then try downloading octamed sound studio or sound forge.

Heads up, Free mode doesn't get achievements (or at least the first one). If you're having trouble with the BotD, switch to story (the only way I've found to switch modes was to make a new band).

This game isn't perfect, but I really like how much love the developers poured into it. The music is fantastic, and the animations match it well. It's cool that you can write your own music, and it's cool that you can look at the tabs to learn how to play the songs in real life. After five years, I don't know if they're really going to make a sequel, but I sure hope they do.

This is a annoying as hell game, The annoying bit at the beginning. The annoying background music when not playing that you can't seem to turn off. And most of all, the game seems to expect you to already be a musician! It's talking about music stuff I got no friggin clue on, and I can't hear what I am doing so I have to go by reading music, which I can't do! This game is so unintuitive for those who don't know the technical side of music.

For the BotD I have to get a good rating in any song. Except first I have to write a song with no real tutorial and absolutely no examples to work from. Great.

Why did my old 1gig ram PC from 2000 run this game just fine when it came out in 2010, but my new 8gigram laptop from 2014 lags like a mofo trying to load this...

I wish there were such complex music games with actual music. I'm always surprised how many people appear to like that genre. It's so terrible, I can hardly survive the background music.

If you're looking for the BotD, don't be an idiot like me and not notice that WASD finger placement works best with this game. -.- Seriously, I'm going to go bash my head against my wall a few thousand times for not noticing this...
