Best strategy advice ever from 'slavsquat69'. For the Dead on Time Hard Badge. The hand brake is revolutionary, I hadn t been using it till I red him, and I actually stopped using the normal brake after, too. And the zoom idea makes all of it... had forgotten about that part of the strategy. Once I filled my screen with it, 1st and 2nd try got me to 8km, then the 3rd try to 13km, with that insane chopper coming around 12km... thanks dude!

Lets see... I'm a soldier with several zombies running right next to me but I'm going to shoot at the civilian driving a car... yeah...

Why dos the military not shoot zombies? e.g. Army guy with M16 right next to bloodthirsty zombie not shooting. Come on, it should be like Resident Evil, Walking Dead, 28 Days Later, etc.

Windshield wipers should have an effect on the zombies clinging to your windshield, and if they don't knock them off, they should prevent them from attacking you and breaking the glass.

One criticism: It's too easy to hit obstacles that in my opinion, I avoided. Even when, visually, I appear to have successfully driven between two obstacles, it seems like the game always decides that I've clipped one anyway. That can get frustrating.

Dear Zombies, please ignore the loud sounds and fast moving light, they're bad for you, and the green suit guys are free food since they haven't shot at you as far as I can see. Don't go into the light please. -The Light

the Dead on Time hard badge gets incredibly easier once you do two things, First is punch out your windshield so you can see better(for me at least) and make sure you do that without missing any zombies. The second is learning how awesome your hand brake is. The hand brake helps you pick you pick up tons of zombies you miss driving normally. I got 12.9km with only lvl 2 tires/engine/bumper and lvl 1 firearm/bodyarmor/perception. Also, shooting clinging enemies off your car gives you a +8 to your time. I hit 141 zombies and only 1 civilian(hit a car and bounced into them after i hit a spike strip :( )

@maas3 because at dead on time you get +2 sec if you hit a zombie, and -10 sec if you hit a human.
You probaply had less then 10sec left when you hit him.

I beat the Great Escape before I realized it was a hard badge o.O
Truly an epic game. The sheer stress-inducing action, not to mention the First Person view made it feel really immersing. 5/5

Am I the only one who thinks this might be harder than it needs to be?
I had maxed out upgrades 3 levels before it was over, keep the power ups coming.

They're focussing on you (a single civilian) because no one is allowed to leave the quarantine area. They're willing to sacrifice their own lives and that of innocent civilians because if you get out, it might result into a statewide epidemic.

@Tzukama: The game does not allow you to punch a zombie off your windshield due to "The risk of getting infected" is too high if you were to try. However you can still ram cars and such to knock any enemy that is clinging onto your car. However tougher enemies will require more ramming.
@Those guys who downrate someone who is confused about game mechanics: Guys don't downrate someone just because you think they are asking something dumb or don't like what they are asking. They could have possibly just missed a message to explain how the game works.

I'm playing this extremely violent and gory game with blood and guts flying everywhere so I can get a cute blue kitty...
