Might be nice to have some checkpoints at the cemetery so you don't have to do the whole thing each time you get one part wrong.

Thank you for the previous replies. C: However, I found out that Faust is.......... A... uh... idk. Anyways I have a feeling that the familiar one is the sickly boy from the first episode.....
Well, you find out the truth! Faus is, indeed, "Auhidk", one of our favourite character!
About the familiar cultist... who knows... (HINT: try to juxtapose his portrait to the other game characters!)

Beat all parts in order. Nice atmosphere and interface, English text has also been polished. Maybe make the item symbols a bit smaller so that you don't need to scroll through the inventory. Also some riddles I only solved by brute-forcing item combinations. Looking forward to part 4.
Thank you very much!
We'll consider all of your suggestion in the development of the next episode; about the riddles, you're right, but sometimes, in a graphic adventure, a developer has to "force" some interactions :D we hope it didn't ruin your experience.
Stay tuned and wait for the last episode!
Well, probably you played the last unity games some weeks ago. In Chrome version 42 Google decided to disable NPAPI support in Chrome by default, unless this games were compiled with the preview WebGL compiler of Unity 5 you cannot play them in Chrome (anyway is a preview compiler that doesn't work very well, and our games have some problems compiled this way). For now you can re-enable the web player following the tutorial linked also in the game news: http://twiik.net/articles/google-chrome-just-killed-the-unity-web-player (anyway the NPAPI support soon will be definitively disabled by google).

Great story, seems like you get deeper in the city even more with each discovery and each chapter. This ep was easier, but I liked the action. I would be cool to be able to get away from enemies through different routes of action, or to make them more difficult to find the perfect way to avoid get killed. 5/5 and fav, waiting for the last episode.
Thank you very much!
Indee, this episode was much easier than the previous two, it was a sort of experiment, to understand the right amount of difficulty the players would like.
The next episode is going to be WAY more challenging!
About your idea for multiple routes of actions, it was within our first ideas; we had to leave it for pratical reasons; in the future, we hope we will be able to use it.
We hope the next episode won't disappoint you!

loved it! great work again!
and...i really liked the reference to "behind the wall" and the reference to doctor who XD
good job!
Thank you!
Although we are glad you noticed the doctor's references, we're not sure about 'behind the wall'; we just checked and the only result is a movie we never saw XD now we're dying to understand our involontary reference!
While we check, keep having fun and stay tuned for episode 4!

I appreciated the series very much for this far,I can see strong Lovecraft inspirations in the story,as for the main character,he is an "ancient" and has dark powers...Also,with the city I can smell Lovecraft,a malovelent city where you would prefer to know nothing at all (forbidden knownledge) and we have these cults here and there...It's a shame in the game, many information are presented to us as common knownledge,as for the Caos Heart or the Heartless Cult, you could have presented a plot where we would actually discover it,not simply "recognize" as the character does. Also, good one with the weeping angel relation, haha. Now we are all hoping for next game, and many other series you may create after, pherphaps? But then,it's just a matter of caos.
We just LOVED your comment! :D
Yes, we tried to infuse the story with a strong Lovecraftian mark, mixed up with much more pop culture references, and we're glad you noticed many of them!
About your suggestion to "make the players discover" the backstory of Mavropolis and its inhabitant, although it could be a good idea, it would be very hard to use: actually, lacking in the animation, all of the game sequences have to be narrated through textual panels; if we'd add more dialogue panels to explain everything, many players would find it frustrating, and we didn't want to put all of you in front of a sequence of text wall.
Anyway, we'll try our best to clarify everything in the next episode!

Again excellent story telling. very intriguing 5/5! a bit short compared to the previous ones, but then it came quite fast after ep. 2, so I dont mind if ep. 4 comes equally fast ;) please slightly higher cifficulty again, I was able to rush through this one a bit too fast ;)
Thank you very much!
Indeed, it was both short and easy, compared to episodes 1 and 2, just like you said; about the difficulty, we tried a lower level to understand what the players would have preferred.
About the fourth, we're just going to work on it: we'll try to release as soon as it will be possible, and we can assure you we have the will to make it longer, harder and deeper than the first three! (no innuendo intended!)
Stay tuned and keep having fun! ;)
We are very sorry, but, until now, it is the first time we read of such an issue.
Could you send us a PM to explain better the details? Which OS and browser are you using?

I am so excited for the next episode of this, it's amazing. There was only one sour part for me and that was due to my own screw ups. I had to repeat the Mentzen fight over and over and over and I had to go all the way to the beginning of the fight every time. >.<
But anyways, amazing game, amazing story, great music, great characters. LOVE IT.
Thank you very much! It's great to know you liked it so much!
About the Mentzen fight, we decided to make it a little bit harder to make it a "fina boss fight".
We realy hope you'll like this much even the fourth episode! :)
The "Dong thing"?
Anyway, did you manage to deactivate the alarm system in the sanctuary? If not, remember there is walkthrough (link in game description), but just try to use some items on it and you should be able to do it! ;)

ok so i having a little problem when ever i open the notepad... it crashes my whole laptop no clue why and dont know how to find out why.
It's very strange! We haven't notifications of similar issues, before.
Could you send us your system details in a PM? We'll try to figure out if it's our fault! :)

Myosotis... I see what you did there. Anyways, great game series; if you could do this much within only a few months, imagine what you could do in a few years...
Thank you very much! We are doing our best!
Actually, an episode is taking us about three weeks of VERY hard work, because, as you can see, our team is quite small :D
We just begun, but we aim to the stars: we want to improve ourself every day and do our best to create MEMORABLE games!
We hope you'll like all of our games; keep having fun!
To be honest, AMOC was a novel by Mrs. Christie; we found the original manuscript (the way we found it will be told in our next games, you just have to know it involved ancient tombs, cursed mummies, a time warp, 16.000 angry crabs and a speaking caterpillar) and we suddenly realized it could be a best seller.
Unfortunately for us, we couldn't find an editor, so we just make a videogame out of it.

When I saw this appear, I went back to pay the other two first and I'm glad I did. It makes all the difference that I care about exploring the story rather than just pointing and clicking just to get through it. I like the way we're finding out about the characters as it goes on. By the end of chapter one I genuinely wanted to find Daphne. It was a good decision to avoid the irritating pixel hunting by just showing the interactive items. A few typos and grammar issues but it doesn't stop this from being an absorbing game. I'll keep an eye out for the next one!
*Holding back the tears*
Thank you very much! Your words are REALLY meaningful for us!
We are still at the beginning of our path as a game development team, and we have so much road in front of us; we want to improve ourself as much as we can.
To see such consent from the gamers community is what we need to keep on trying our best!
We hope you'll like the story until its end!

This dev is a rare one.He actully answers a lot of ur comments.(as he will probably this one) *Blink* "AAAHHHH!!!" ;)
Thanks! We are using Unity because Kongregate is only our first step for gaining experience and a bit of a support base. Unity is more powerful and permits us to compile our game on many platform. Steam is our goal! ;)
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...
<_<
>_>
*looks around for lawyers and stuff*
Well ok, MAAAAYBE we used him as a model :D
But PLEASE don't tell him, we're just a small development team and we can't afford a lawsuit :(

If I had one criticism of this game it is that it is so addictive. yet again I have spent all of my time playing it through to the end. Awesome game, and I can't wait for the next one...
A doctor? Who?
(EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE!)
But, jokes apart, we really care about our players.
And we DO NOT plan to use all of you in a complicated plan to invade your planet!
Thank you very much! :D
Probably the story isn't going to last this much BUT we hope that the THOUSANDS of other ideas we have could be as good as this one!
If they won't, we'll just release 'A Matter of Caos 2: episode 1' and so on... ;D

a bit dissapointed on how it's not allowed to run on chrome, but meh, i can sacrifice a couple of hundred mega-bytes:P
Google's fault and until the WebGL compilation of Unity will be stable we have no choice. Anyway for now you can activate the plugin in Chrome with this tutorial: http://twiik.net/articles/google-chrome-just-killed-the-unity-web-player
Thank you very much! We are so glad you liked it! :D
We'll try to release the episode 4 as soon as possible BUT it could a little longer because, being it the GRAN FINALE we want it to be AWESOME!
Stay tuned for any news! ;)
Sadly for us, our game designer - who writes the story - is a little megalomaniac and he thinks that "small thoughts are for small minds", so he likes to put apocalypse-like scenarios almost everywhere.
Once we wanted to develop a game about a small cat trying to catch a mouse, but after 10 minutes the story took a CAT-ASTROPHIC turn and long story short we had to put the idea away after the fire storm, the undead invasion and the sky-breaking god of destruction which the cat had to stop.
Sorry :(

Immersive and fun, just what adventure games should be. Nice to play a tentacled protagonist in a film noir detective story.
Thank you very much!
We are just trying our best - it's our third game (or the third part of our first game, if you prefer) and we're just so happy to see so many positive comments!
We hope you'll enjoy the Gran Finale even more!

Oh, right, but I forgot faust and lee know each other personally, so lee would know if he was getting it on with his own boss who was also a woman. Ok, so nvm, faust is the lucky guy who's homies or siblings or something with lord malaguard who's mist's sister who's boning lee who wants to kill fausts snuggle bunny there and that's why malaguard paid Mr. Tentacle guy to find her and why malaguard knows so much and has so much money. Not nearly as much fun or rich in girl on girl action as the last hypothesis, but still, tentacle guy has nothing on me. And the fact I care at all is a really good indication regarding the quality of the story.
I can't answer seriously now because of the tears!
YOU FOUND OUT THE TRUTH but you just forgot about the incest part, and the fact that in reality MR. GILBERT IS FAUTS who suffers of a rare case of amnesia; also he is transexual and, with a wig, he IS also DAPHNE!
Good job Holmes, now we can all go home u.u
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I'm calling it now; faust and the lucky guy are the same people. Their identities have been keep simultaneously secret for too long, it pretty much has to turn out that way. Then there's something about mist and being lucky...maybe secretly the lucky guy is actually a girl, who is also mist, who is also faust, and daphne is a hot lesbian which is why all the guys are so obsessed with her. I think I've solved it. Case closed.

Very good job guys, I love the series and can't wait for the final episode. I hope you'll publish it soon because I'm damn curious how the story will end....5of5 trembling stars :p
Thank you very much! We'll try to release the Gran Finale as soon as possible!
In the meanwhile, we had to explain your final punch line to Molestia. Twice.
In the end he got it! :D
Stay tuned and wait for us!

This series is really interesting, as i said before. I noticed about the 3rd chapter through your site and i started immediately to play it. The noir atmosphere fits perfectly with sounds and music. Engimas aren't too hard nor too easy and cleverly arranged. You managed to create some kind of action/suspance in a point and click game, that shows a very accurate construction. I think (as i said in my previous comment) that some improvement in the dialogue graphical user interface, could make better the playing experience :) P.S. glad to know that there's a piece of Italy in this game ;)
Thank you very much!
Your kindly words mean a lot to us!
About the enigmas, we tried to make something quite easy to appeal the newbies, and quite challenging so that the more experienced players could enjoy it (although this episode is a bit easier than the first two).
We are trying to improve our skills more and more, and we hope we won't disappoint you with the last episode!
Stay tuned and be ready for the last part of this story!

I had to be stubborn and try Chrome anyway. You're right, I got a prompt to install the Unity Web Player plug-in, did so, reloaded....and got the same prompt. On to Firefox!
The new versions of Chrome disabled the unity plugin by default. The best choice is to use Firefox. Otherwise, for now and if know how to do it, there is the possibility to unlock the unity plugin. The tutorial is linked in the news section. Anyway: Firefox FTW! ;)
