Under rating threshold (show) Great game. It has the potential to become awesome tough. Maybe add more resources like spices, cotton and the likes. Play with different colonialist nations like spain, portugal or netherlands. Expand with different ships bringing different advantages,(light ships to protect your merchant ships), posibility to get attacked by pirates and lose your stuff. add silver and gold also as currency. Maybe add more events and few military/political options to help your trade, like if you have enough money to hire an army, you can take over a trade post and not worry about being caught by officials? Just my 0.02$ :P

Under rating threshold (show) A smart, beautiful and educational game! It will take an adjustment of thinking for most of us who love "business" games: you don't need to keep customers happy and stockpile your silver -- you need to sell them tons of opium. TONS. :/ The Crown will take good care of you if you do. Your score is mostly about volume of opium sold. Choose larger orders over higher prices for the most part. Keeping Britain happy just keeps your new ships coming, though if you don't stay ahead of the ever-increasing tea orders you'll be in trouble. LOVE IT, THANKS E.W.!

Under rating threshold (show) Encountered an interesting bug where no deals for opium would pop. I watched sadly as the timer ran out with 85 crates of opium and no druggies.

Under rating threshold (show) Cool game but would be a lot better if you could buy upgrades, negotiate about the prics, and if allowed to buy more at once. Also getting the hard badge-yes delaying the prices but also making lot of deals, making all your ships busy when you get more ship to sell opium because it adds value.

Under rating threshold (show) Very Easy way to win: Delay the deliveries as far as possible. If you have to send 300 chests, buy 295 and wait until a few seconds before you loose to buy the last 5. This way, you've got more money (and maybe time, i'm not sure) to trade opium. This way, I've won on the first try with little effort and 9000 silver to spare.

Under rating threshold (show) This is possibly the best online game for me. I got all the badges a long time ago, but whenever I see it somewhere, I have to play it again. High tea gets into your blood.

Under rating threshold (show) I actually beat the game without getting the badge (scored like 77M), then the next game I failed to complete the last order and scored 99M to get the badge. Doesn't make much sense.

Under rating threshold (show) I dont understand the premise of the game. If selling opium is illegal and we aren't getting paid for the tea how does britain think we are to afford to send them all this tea?

Under rating threshold (show) i really want to like this game, but the rng for prices is not kind to players. even stocking up to over 600 crates of tea in the early stages still isn't enough of a buffer. bottom line this is a really fun idea that very rapidly turns into "that one game". it's a shame the difficulty spikes the way it does because otherwise this is fun :/

Under rating threshold (show) For the hard badge, you have to make it to 1839 in order for it to register. The badge says win or lose, but that really isn't accurate if you lose before 1839!

Under rating threshold (show) Getting the Hard badge is rather easy. What you need to do is buy in bulk tea early on when the price drops to 10 or less. It's easy to amass 500+ tea in the beginning. That means you have lots of time to trade Opium. Later in the game is where you make your Opium money. Early on you need to focus on making good purchases and holding on for great deals. You'll get a bribe card and you need to save it for a $99 sale of 30 or more crates. The risk must be worth the reward. Late game when you have 5 ships then you should risk your ships. You won't be able to use all 5 at once and still make high profit. Just like when you risked you bribe card, you risk your ships. Some will get through and make massive profit. Some you will lose. You can lose three ships and still function. Don't worry about losing ships. Worry about making money.

Under rating threshold (show) ok, so i just ran into needing to buy 360 crates of tea, in 11 weeks. with each week ~= 1 second, uhhh can't even buy them that fast mashing the buy 30 button. yeah thanks, but i prefer to do the possible. not a bad game, just impossible expectations

Under rating threshold (show) Badge of a day seems kinda broken. I was playing and lost on my first try - it updated my progress to 114/150 chests. Then, I played again and despite being very close to winning (is tea was being bought faster, I would win, I lost maybe by 10-15 seconds), I lost. I clicked play again and... my score wasn't updated. I tried to refresh, etc, but it's still missing, despite game telling that I can even lose and still get badge ;-(

Under rating threshold (show) Oddly enough, despite the absolute random nature of the prices, and how little control the user has of the quantity and nature of deals or risky ports, I found this game to be a nice balance of tranquility (nice music) and stressful challenge (mashing the BUY button because you can't buy more than 30 at a time). While I agree with many comments below that the BUY button should allow buying more than 30, I still found this game to be very well done, and it felt more balanced than I was originally going to give it credit. 4/5 stars. Thanks for the fun experience.

Under rating threshold (show) What I would like to see: - The ability to cancel an order I accidentally clicked on before the ship reaches the destination. - Be able to sell ships at any time, not only when poor. - PLEASE be able to buy more tea/opium! The sections should be something like "10, 30, 50, 100" instead of "5, 15, 30" - A 'restart' button on the pause menu would be great! + so the developers will see.
