While I was writing that comment I left the game running and when I came back I expected to be dead. Nope, hundred thousand points with x2 happiness. Nice!

I don't know if this is a problem for anyone else, but it's very significant for me. The icons that tell you PERFECT, and OUCH, or AMAZING, are too large and too high up on the screen. It really hinders me from predicting the perfect way to land. Otherwise I enjoy the game. Nice work.

This isn't great but worth getting the first couple badges. dive rate needs to be more sensitive to control because later map numbers are too unpredictable.

once you make ONE mistake in zone 9 or 10, it is impossible to recover. your happiness meter just keeps on going down, you are unable to regain speed, not even with PERFECT landings... DUMB, and anoying! it would be a nice game, but this... -2 points...
Yep! One of the things we've been focusing on with the sequel is making it easier to rebuild momentum, especially on terrain that has awkwardly short or awkwardly large hills. One of the ways we're doing this is with a new "super jump" mechanic where you can charge up a powerful jump that will help you get airborne again.

So I don't normally comment on games. Actually, I don't know if I ever have in all my time playing games on Kong. But I need to take a moment to say something here.
When I initially encountered this game, I hated it. Absolutely despised it. I did the achievement, then walked away saying I would never play this game again anyways. But something lingered. There was something pulling me back.
So I played again. I continued to be frustrated by problems understanding the physics of the game. I played it a little more.
Then it dawned on me: the reason why I keep playing. It's the music. The music in this game is fantastic. It's like the further I get into the game, the better the music gets and feels. I absolutely love it. I could listen to a full track of this music on repeat and feel like my life is somehow better balanced because of it.
Don't get me wrong: I'm getting thorough enjoyment out of the game itself. But I truly play this game for the music in it. Beautiful.

This game is pretty cool but I'm not gonna even attempt to get any hats/achievements. They seem to be only for professionals. It'd be nice to have something like "Achieve a total of 100 perfect jumps" as well as them not being character specific. I personally favour the turtle.

What I have learnt from this game: It's ok to hit the ground really fast, as long as you do it going down hill. Up hills hurt.

I am not going to say it unless someone else says it...alright I am going to anyway. This reminds me of Tiny Wings just sliiiightly. I like this game a lot though. *Dillo brutally murders birds and his happiness skyrockets* seems like a normal animal

I didn't get a hat despite having the first badge. Also, when the internet connection gets slowed down, several glitches happen such as the game start at Zone 2, half the background disappears, your character zips through Zone 1 in 2 seconds but you run out of happiness as soon as you reach Zone 2.

Not only does the shop reset each time I load this game, but also, I have to deal with the tutorial again. You can do better than this.

My only complaint is that it tells me "Awesome!" and "Perfect!" and then takes away my happiness. If you are doing the jumps that well, why doesn't happiness increase?

The biggest problem with the game is that the environment doesn't adapt to the speed of the armadillo. The slopes should become wider and more gentle as you go faster, making it easier to travel at high speed, instead of getting up there, and then hitting a pair of slopes that you can't dive on or glide over without a Jedi-like ability to know they would come at you before you see them. 3/5

If you're going for a highscore always check if the first level actually counts the time bonus. There seems to be a bug that prevents this from happening sometimes.

Tips for getting the Hard Badge:
1- Max out every stat.
2- Concentrate on getting "smooth" landings on a downward slope from which you can then get very high and quick launches. (Click on the lowest part of the screen, then release when you're on the highest part of the upward slope)
3- Ignore the gems; your goal is to avoid "Ouch" landings at all costs.
4- Land on birds if you can, but for the most part, concentrate on the slopes when you're in the air.
5- Don't alter your path in the air until you're about midway to the ground from your apex. Trying to judge your landing too early is virtually impossible.
That's it. Try to maintain a X5 multiplier at the end of every level, finish the levels as quickly as possibly by going fast and high while avoiding "Ouch" landings, and ignore gems. It still takes a decent amount of practice (took me four days from the time I got the Medium Badge to get the Hard one), but it's doable.

My other two complaints are that how well or poorly I play seems to affect my score very little, I always have approximately the same amount of points at the end of a zone whether I got all perfects or lots of ouch landings.
And if I restart while holding down, it tries to start me in zone 2 but doesn't let me do anything.

Not a big problem, but occasionally, the bottom half of the background scenery goes away and won't come back until I refresh.
