Very well designed and addictive. I recommend using different restrictions on the different difficulties, such as enemy upgrades and hero level max based on difficulty. Maybe add some achievements that give slight bonuses to your gameplay. Alternative gamemodes might make the game open to more audiences, such as survival or timed. The games really balanced in terms of skill tree and opponent difficulty.

Needs a way to tell your stuff to hold. Its really annoying haveing to jump between move forward and retreat for the Hero so you dont have them accidently end up in your tower and have to wait to use them again or have them die to the enemy tower.

Nice game but too buggy sometimes!! I started the game from the game options and now that I came back to the main menu I lost my game!!!
Few things that could improve: 1) knowing how many of units of each type you have; 2) it would be nice if the hero could have the action "stop"; 3) fast forward button? But overall I liked the game (spent couple of hours +xD ) keep up the good work developers.

So...im hoping that controlling the battlefeild dosn't mean its out of control when all of your units are knocked a million miles back by a warrior hero....

I have to agree with the "save slot" gripes, since the only thing it apparently saves is which stages you have completed, and not any _actual_ character or kingdom progression, which is a terminal shame and a giant thumbs-down in any upgrade game, let alone a grinder that starts out unexpectedly enjoyably before slapping any real progress out from the experience.

My game won't stay saved. This has happened twice now and it's really annoying. Can anyone tell me how I can fix this?

I don't know why, but my progress isn't saving past the second mission. The game crashes my computer during the sixth mission, and when I come back, I have to start over from the thrid mission. Also, missions 4 and 5 are really laggy, even on low quality.

Would be nice to have a small notification on the side to tell us when we've unlocked a new unit/spell due to exp. I have to keep going back and forth to see if any new units were unlocked.

...20 minutes into the very first battle, and I'm just getting bored. If I do nothing my cannons take out most everything he sends at me, and if I build units he send out matching units and everything dies. His hero seems to always beat mine one on one then reatreat...it's just an endless back and forth.
I guess if you let the tower do the work you are not advancing (i.e. not gaining the experience, reputation required) fast enough to out match the enemy. It all is in the strategy of using spells and your hero as well as always dominating the field with your units. I recognise this takes time... What are some suggestions you have to improve the entertainment value? Feel free to msg me. Thanks

Man, there's a lot of tweaks to do in this game. The battles too long; maps too big; no advantages for me in battle; the catapult can hit melee units; the game can't even memorize the game quality. Now, I'll give 3/5. If this game get better I'll give 4 or 5.

I played this game on newgrounds. I must say that the hero thing is a great improvement to your game. My suggestion is that next time when you make a game, put it on fgl.com There are lots of testers, including me, that give great feedback. The game is good, but I find the UI art quite bad. Units are great, the concept is great. You could add some nature animations, some powers, the hero could be controlled via arrow keys and shoots via space-bar. I like the upgrades, and I can see that you worked a lot at it. Great job! (but needs improvement :) )

I believe that adding some more tactical decision in the game would drastically improve game play, as well a better movement control and increased visibility of your hero: there needs to be a stand ground button and the hero unit should never be covered by other allied or enemy units. The ranged heroes have a clear advantage over the melee heroes in that they gains XP for kills on the screen, while the melee heroes have to physically kill a unit to gain XP, putting them at much greater physical danger.

Beat last lv on impossible. Took 22:42 was much more difficult than last level with lv.29 warlock. No, I didn't have the expansion pack. I won by building enough units to amass 6k experience very quickly to release my hero. Then, I let my tower deal with them to trolls and infernal golems. Then, I kept the enemy pinned at their base for a long time, like 5-10 minutes while two catapults got the tower down to half life. Eventually the A.I. pushed back, just as meteor shower came up. I use my hero with invunerablity to hold off the huge A.I. pushback while meteor shower killed all the enemy units. I then, burnt all my cooldowns with a huge army lead by a dragon of infernal golems, trolls, and my hero all with blood lust and heal spell. I won very quickly.

75,000 for the dragon rider?! Do you know how long I have to stretch out the fight just to summon one? Wow. Useless unit.

you should make it so when you make an upgrade the thing affected should look different for example when you upgrade the fortress hitpoints the walls should be a different color or something.

I don't know... having to get all the upgrades in the FIRST battle kinda takes away my desire to want to play anymore. There is no sense of progression

What file type is your image on the game selection list? It doesnt show up on firefox, it makes your game look cheap.
