the AI doesn't use bugs, but follows a pre-made system of army building. this can result in big queue's. it's an oversight I think. also, if units die closer to the enemy tower, it will generate more money. this makes tower defense a last resort.

Finally lost, took 20:21 seconds. That slave stacking really changes the strategy. Also, the hero commands are a little bit awkward. Meaning if your two heroes are pitted against each other the A.I. can hit blood lust plus battle slam before you can and win before you can do anything.

Seems fighting fire with fire is the only way out. I was finally able to break the siege by doing the same. There is a bug the A.I. uses, that if you build a bunch of slaves while the enemy has a bunch of melee at your tower, that the slaves cannot march forward and will stack in one huge stack. They will then all attack at once annihilating assassins and even heroes easily.

Pretty sure I lost time on normal. I got the ai backed up against its tower. Then, it built 20 or so slaves. The slaves were able to attack 10 at a time. Normally only 2 can. I can't seem to recover.

Ok, game completed in impossible mode in 20 minutes and 32 seconds.
This game is too short! Also it's too easy to win or lose without getting everything.

I always like to let my enemy live despite my obvious superiority as a tactically thinking player, but that just makes it way more enraging when the enemy then has the audacity to send this fogging catapult towards my way, me having to send my warchief all the way trough his 100 men strong fodder just to kill it and prevent castle damage.

17:32 seconds I didn't even unlock the drake which I was looking forward to. Another good game like this is age of war.

You can Continue to play after finishing the game, if you want to. Just press "game menu" (this button is a little hidden in the nearly center of the bottom) instead of "return to main screen", then "return to game".

I wish there were more levels. A sequel could include the quest to no longer defend but conquer the other clans. Also particular upgrades for single units (like rate of attack, range, etc). Also, it'd be great if it was clearer the cooldown effect on the icons to know for sure if it's ready. A timer on the icon would be great help. Keep up the good work! This is cool, but short ^_^

for an idea you could make it so we can buy towers to help defend the tower (such as a tower could shoot fireballs) or add abiltys (like summning lighting storms).

ajax_the_greater I agree, it's just to simple to play, there's no challenge than the enemy, put more challenges like making people lose more money if over used, not hating it but in my opinion, this game could be better.

Even on easy it gets to a point where you just can't win. The enemy gets all the upgrades you get, and has no unit limit. If you don't put him away asap it just becomes impossible. No strategy. Just try to Zerg him into submission before it's too late.

Doesn't have any much needed badges, but I won't hold that against the developer, it's kong's fault. I give it a 4/5. All I'd recommend is more levels and units, other that that, it's about as perfect as any game like this could be! :D (the pop. limit can be a bit annoying, though I understand the purpose)

there is now a sequel it only came out reacently it's only on newgrounds at the moment and it's called "clan wars red reign" it's similar to this one but more levels, 5 heros, upgrade system and purchaceable content :)

ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! Just one problem... it's really unfair. I had a line of 20 soldiers (10 ranged, 10 melee) in front of the enemy stronghold. One average melee unit came out and killed each of them with ONE hit each with fully upgraded armor and full health. Idk if that's a glitch or if it was set up as a "catch up" method, but there are a few scenarios where it seems like the enemy has the upper hand on purpose. For instance, the enemy chief somehow already had rage when they hadn't even killed ONE of my soldiers yet.
