I am unable to lower ground without clicking on corners of ground and for no reason all of my game history was erased. Love the game though and I would happily replay all of the games :)

WOAH THIS GAME!!! i remember seeing an advertisment for it way back when i was still able to play sid Meirer's gettysburg i always thought it looked like a cool game and now that i can play it ...F YEAH!

what the hell? i use armaggeddon when they have about 11 people and i have 180. my people start rapidly dying for NO REASON and i win with 1 person left. WTF?! also no level is different from another. you (probably, cause i didn't play past the second level) do the same thing for 25 levels. 2/5

Good game. However it gets annoying when the sea level is raised and the AI is able to raise a quarter of the map almost instantly, while you can hartly save one or two of your drowning villagers. This means defeat if your main army is a converted leader who cant build houses and is soon overwhelmed by the AI.

@petesahooligan This game isn't probably flash because the characters are in 3D. Probably blender game engine. Hurray for 3D! ^_^

the balance and the gameplay is repetitive , but i appreciate the populous style , which was and is 1 of my fav . indeed i reinstalled it lol

its fun to play, but there should be more difference between the levels. also it would be nice, if one would get more analysis after winning a level, maybe even a zoom out, to see how much of the world i have flattened and populated?
18 people need 130 houses to live in ftw!

Well... It's looked great on the tutorial, but i begin to play the normal levels, and on the first i already stucked. Why? I passed around 5 minutes creating houses and blablabla, and other 10 fighting, and either my people or the enemy don't stop growing! In that way, the battle will finish never. 1/5, sadly

At first, the game seems really fun. But after 5 or 6 levels it just gets repetitive. Your just lowering/raising land, until you either greatly outnumber your opponent and then you use Armageddon, or you start attacking him and slowly take over his buildings.
It'd be better if you could have more control over your units, if you had multiple enemies, and multiplayer could be interesting

OK disregard that last comment, Khazul you retard read the instructions. I just did, and guess what? Keyboard control for land flattening!

Oh dear, I loved Populous and was looking forward to playing this, and then I read a comment about mouse wheel control? Well its probably just my glitchy browser, but I cant use mouse wheel because all it does is scroll the page up and down. FAIL.

I hate how there doesn't seem to be any way of properly controlling in which way you want to flatten land wxcept for the mouse wheel, and the mouse wheels I have never seem to just go in one way. Maybe keyboard controlls for up and down, Maybe something like "o" for up and "k" for down?:

I think there should be a rule as to where you can flatten the land, because at the moment I can just drown all my opponens. Maybe I should just be able to flatten land right up close to my own base.

Okay... so I had all my stuff 2 levels above sea level, and used Flood, and then the sea level went up 2 instead of 1? What happened there? Oh, and why did Unlocking x levels from 17 Easy force me to move on to Normal campaign? If I continue, I'm in Normal, if I try to pick Easy Campaign, it says I'll 'lose all progress'...? :(

i think lowering the ground under his buildings is better than raising it, because the guy inside drowns to death after the building goes away

although long-term affect the plague is 1 of my fave strategys, i make a huge hill and use the plague on all the people, eventually it affects temples, Its the only thing keeping me alive aainst an AI thats everywhere.

Love this game, sure it is not perfect and some bugs are annoying, but there is a grrreat concept and an addictive game, old school style. 5/5

this game becomes dislikable. The fact that the opponent is everywhere makes this game pretty hard.(seriously 1 moment he drowns my people on 1 side the other he drowns my people on the completly other side)
