@BaldingAlbino: You can do archmage duels by going to custom deck and setting the AI difficulty to archmage. You can earn the arch achievements in this mode. On a side note, Insanian King FTW!

I'm fighting with Galador at Hero's league as beastmaster.
Whenever either of players plays a card both player's beast attribute turn 0.

@baldingAlbino: Beating Archmage is not a matter of luck. Being good at this game takes a lot of skill. You need to work with what they give you.

Bug: Disintegrate says it is supposed to destroy target creature and do 11 damage to all others, but it does much more than 11 damage to the other creatures. I cast it on an Earth Elemental, and it killed every other creature my opponent had, even though they all had over 20 health.

Not being able to customize your deck for the Archmage duels makes them nearly impossible and a matter of luck on which cards you get. Only winning 1 out of 10 games is rather depressing.... it also makes the hard badge quite a bit harder than it should be.

I think it would be a really good idea to have any card you want from all the classes into your deck in a custom duel. For example: a mix of cards in Dominator and Sorcery into your Special class.

I think it's funny that people think this is the entire campaign when this is pretty much a free trial. You can buy the whole game on steam.

I've been toying around and so far one really nice combo I've found is doing 4 elf hermits and 2 earth elementals. Once the hermits are out, get the earths out asap, even if you gotta use meditation as well. After a couple turns the earths are doing 20+ a piece.

So, I've been beating the campaign with different characters, most of them on Very Hard mode, and sometimes it doesn't give me the achievement for beating the campaign with the class I used, and it has never given me an achievement for beating a campaign on Very Hard, even though I know I've done it on at least three characters. What gives?

Fun game. Campaign modes seem to be the only thing that makes card games interesting to me -- I wish this one was longer. The difference between normal and hard mode in the campaign (when you don't have access to all of the cards) is too great, however. I walk all over normal mode opponents while they do senseless things, but in hard mode it's usually a long battle of attrition that I end up losing.

At first I was like OMG they ripped off Astral Masters! (which is an awesomeeeeeee game) but then i noticed they affiliated :), great game though not as good as astral masters, but who cares its free, thank you! 5/5

you should make the arrows on the skip turn button green instead of gray, to make it more visible. good game other than that.

A thing I would like to see in the campaign is winning custom effects that you could add onto a card with the price of the card being higher or something like that.

Is this a direct port of the PC version, or is there new content, or content missing... ? I own the PC version and I'd like to know if I'm better off just replaying that rather than playing on Kongregate.

I think the key to winning in the arch mage duel is having the Control card set. With life points at such a high rate you don't have to worry about him summoning high level spells or monsters if you keep using weakness, and at the same time you just keep building power while his stays the nearly the same. I like to call this strategy "stalling your opponent."

when griffin summoned and air >=5 does it attack at 5 for only one turn or always? because it looks to me it still only attacks at 3 all times. pretty decent card game though

x_X I feel the magic hamster needs rebalancing. Not because of it's spell, but you see: It costs 1 beast, so you can spam it every turn if it dies (and with 10 health, it is rather frail) so, if you put two elementals on its side, and it keeps dying, then you can keep using its ability to insta heal 10 health of the elementals until they get 10+attack and decimate your defense.. anyone else agree?

While fighting Gustav as a beast master, my basilisk attempted to kill his last marching stone in the furthest right position since it was left with only 5 life after my attack. This froze the game.
