Anybody else try just once to give them the crappiest weapons possible? The look of horror on their face as they examine their wonky axe is priceless.

Yay...another Papa Louie game.... Except more advertisements. For your papa louie games. In a papa louie game.
It's like repetition inside repetition inside repetition. Very meta. Very bleh.

as much as this is superior in many ways to your other games, it is still a papa louie game, and therefor i hate it. will come back another time or 2 to finish up the easy badge.

Fun for the first few times. After that, extremely repetitive and slow paced. Would be better if rather than arming only a few soldiers with time to spare, you were arming as many as you can as quickly as possible until time runs out with good craftmanship being a bonus. Perhaps making cart weaponry on the side if you could go really, really fast for a cart damage bonus (only got far enough to start seeing fire enemies, and only unlocked the cannonball).

Other places pre-make weapons, leaving them stale by the time you order. Here at Jacksmith, our instruments of mayhem are fresh out of the oven every time, because we care about quality. Also, try our new curly fries.

Does Gander remind anyone else of Choose Goose? I imagine he'd say something like;
"Hey there outlander,
Come and take a gander!
I'll give you the best tips,
Including ores, caps and grips!"

i don't know what you are talking about... i only missed 2 stages so far and I've easily got more then half the recipes unlocked.

so this game is the best game I have ever played because I don't play on the computer every day because I go out and meet people because I know how so stop hiding behind the computer screen go out and meet people

This game isn't very rewarding or fun, just tedious work. You don't even have a choice of retrying stages that you fail. I was woefully under-equipped when I got to the second zone. 2/5 for the inventive mechanics and the feeling of pride I got from seeing my weapons in action.

first sword: barely looked like a sword. Every other sword is perfect. I suck at the stretching, my best is a 52% on stretching even with me trying to evenly spread the arms.

My only complaint is that the pace of the game as a whole is not broken up enough. I don't like having to pause by opening the shop or menu in the middle of a level, I always prefer having a full stop between levels. It would be nice to be able to buy upgrades via an in-between levels menu rather than just unlocking things through experience. I like Upgrade games, so I guess I would lean towards wanting that...

When crafting swords and pikes, I need to hammer them so that they become pointed, but axes are automatically pointed?

This game would be worthy of 5 stars if it wasn't for the incessant advertising by Flipline Studios. Seriously guys, WE JUST SAW THAT AD!!! For pity's sake, why show it between *every freaking level*?!
