5/5 just for bringing The Omega Race back to mind.
Doesn't really work without the old C-64 game paddles as the controller, and the bullets move too slowly, and hammering the space bar to shoot isn't nearly as fun as hammering on the paddle button was, but hey.

Hey, fudgumscool. How about you come back when you've made a game, eh? It wasn't THAT bad, especially for an early game.

This was a disgusting abomination to all pieces of pedantry. This game was out of style around 50 years ago. The controls are stiff, and it makes you feel like you need to force everything. The thrust is too slow, and the bullets travelled so slow the meteor was gone by the time the bullet reached it. The meteors, being black circles, lacked originality. And by the way, it's meteor blaster not meteor blastor. Try to spell your games correctly? C: Anyway the gameplay was boring, and I killed my ship on purpose just to get out of there. The difficulty was nonchalant; I think I fought the exact same wave three times. So, I give this disgusting and outdated piece of kongregate back alley trash a 1/5. If there was a lower rating that I could give, I would give it.

3/5. It's a bit glitchy at points, like when a saucer spawns when one is on the field, the one that's on the field disappears.
Also, it's difficulty curve is a little bit too slow at the beginning for most player's taste. (Maybe one more asteroid per wave?)
Otherwise, I'm guessing the reason it's at 2.6-ish is because a good portion of the Kongregate membership are either trolls who one-star everything or upgrade/color/shiny/whatever is 'current gen'-hungry kids who never bothered to ask their parents what games were like in their day.

i like the look and i loved the original. i'm not sure if pixels were expensive the day you wrote this, but did this really need to be so short vertically? it makes hitting something moving fast vertically extremely difficult.

Work of art here... excellent astroids clone, loved the lcd effect. doesn't bring anything new to the field though... 4/5

Ever heard of Asteroids?
No one has ever fixed the starting bug... When the player starts, he may be hitten by a meteor before he can do anything. 3/5 because this is retroish!

3/5 you could stand still and not die for entire lvl, needs music, and just a clone otherwise feels like your playing a good game while walking down the streets of New York

One good thing - the graphical style is an improvement on the original. But the gmae loses points for not having inertia in the ship movement. Also, the non-square screen in a little odd.

A little to...uh....simple? nah, well, it's not very good. No color,no music, poor idea, and pretty boring. More color, music, and levels would be nice. 2/5.
