Some tips for hard badge: What I (personally) did was storm before the calm on the puzzle side, and when I had shotgun I would save it for when I was about to take a hit and couldn't escpa,e used the radar when I couldn't get out of the way in time and was about to take a hit, ad if I had to many zombies after me, I would run around mines if i had the room til they would explode. Try getting 100% completion. I did all that and got 569, so you should be fine.

Personally, I think Mines that get blown up after you mark them but still need to pass them should display the ACTIVE mines still around them I just get confused and end up dying cause I have no idea if it is including the ones around it, itself, before or after it exploded or what its just real irritating

Good idea not so well developed. Mine counter isn't based on real mines so on puzzle levels you just have to place random flags to make an high score. On first puzzle level if you play correctly you just get 2 stars. Awful. -_-

Easy way to get hard badge: speed run lvl 4. Don' worry about the time, do a full clear. If you don't have enough points, keep running around untill the critters run on mines.

Tips for getting this game's badges. The easy badge is easy. Any level except for possibly the first level in each column will have at least 3 bullets in the stage, which will give you the 3 kills. The medium badge is even easier. Just use the trick SkyLe posted, and plant 20 flags anywhere. For the hard badge, you don't need to complete the level. As soon as you get 500 points, you'll be awarded it in the middle of a level. To REACH 500 points, make sure to explore everywhere. Even the dark squares you can't step on, if you get near to them so they would normally be revealed if you could step on them then they will give you points. You also get points for placing flags, and killing enemies, except for the mushroom enemies. Note that the first 2 levels in each column are definitely too short to get 500 points, and you'll only get 500 points in the 3rd levels if you are lucky. The 4th levels will easily give you 500 points though, as long as you don't die.

I wish I knew what the numbers mean "It tells you the number of bombs that are touching the square. This includes squares diagonal to it as well." WTF does that mean?????????

really awesome game but it would be cool if puzzle mode was less action-oriented at times. i chose to play puzzle mode for a reason!

This game is an interesting take on a classic pc game. As others have mentioned, the number of zombies in puzzle mode was insane and I was left running around, praying for a miracle. Fun to play though and interesting concept.

I wish you could hold the mouse button down to move instead of having to click every time. Other than that, it is a decent game--nice twist on Minesweeper.

Why is it so hard to lure monsters into the mines? Do they know what the flags mean? Should I stop placing flags and let the monsters sweep the mines for me?

Mine Sweeper is random, so this Game is random too, but its a challence to think and run away of zombies.
the Game itself is not that hard if you know how Mine Sweeper works, but it need some tries and luck to have a field of easy mines.
Last time i leaved the game, my score was on 490 (realy bad luck) and today i got the hard badge with an endscore of 776 after 2 tries

here is an easy way to know where a mine is....if u click on a square and it doesn't turn to any number when going close to it, its a mine...also, when your close or going toward a mine...your person will sweat to let u know its a mine....

Man, forget the wolves. The goddamn *rabbits* kill me more than anything else with their tendency to jump onto mines.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Wolves shouldn't spawn in puzzle mode, I tihnk. And they're too strong overall, if you don't have a killing powerup you can't do anything (so it's 'spawn wolf, restart' which gets boring fast).

I agree ... although there are a little less zombies on puzzle mode, they should probably be removed. Either that or you should put them in the easier speed play ones. Given some parts of puzzle mode have me just running around, trying to get the zombies away. Which I do in speed play. I'd suggest making it easier to kill zombies in puzzle mode (worse AI that makes them run into mines that you lure them into), adding enough pickups to deal with every zombie, or removing them altogether. Right now, there doesn't seem to be much of a different between the two modes. If the zombies aren't changed from how they are currently, the modes might as well be merged ...

Whenever an animal steps on one of the mines and a number pops up under the mine that he just stepped on, don't listen to it, for some reason that number is lying, I just died because of that exact reason, kind of a piss off because i had 482 points -.-

I always thought that Windows minesweeper lacks some zombies, that help me discover some mines. Windows minesweeper never caused my demonic laugh, when I hear exploding mine but I'm still alive!

for those that can't find the mute button for some reason..... click options on the main page. the option then pops up in the bottom right corner. i wouldn't recommend it though... kinda takes away from the game if you do.

This game rules. I especially love the dark sense of humor and how the scanning sound becomes a frenzied rock song the farther you go. Thanks!

Evilevil135, look again - the flag next to the mine you stepped on was a mistake. See the flags to the upper right of them, and remember that numbers still count mines that have already exploded.
