It looks and sounds good, but I also found it confusing. I couldn't tell what things were, or how to armour or blade the tail. I spent evo points on these and it made no obvious difference. Perhaps there is some power-up you need? This game *really* needs a key telling you what everything does.

This game looks good and is fun but I gotta be honest, I'm confused as hell. First can you kill enemies or not? I found even with blades you can only kill the bee looking thing by circling them and nothing else seems killable. Second, what are the colored orbs that come up? Are they power ups bonuses traps or what? In short visually appealing but needs a lot more instructions. 2/5

This on inspired by Fl0w?

Nevermind, great game! Audio is bit agressive may be =)

That was beautiful Grier! You nailed it right on the money!
I would just add that the power ups serve to change up the game play more than anything. for instance, if a blade hits a white energy cluster, it kills it --meaning you can't eat it. Armor on the other hand keeps you safe for up to 3 impacts, but still allows you to eat the energy, since it just bounces off. You might say that armor is better in this sense.
It's all designed to help you keep your point multipliers climbing, which is the main goal.

K... I think I got it. If your tail segments hit anything - even the white things you eat - they get destroyed. Eat enough white things and get another segment. Lose all your segments and game over. Armor blocks the side missiles and pushes the white things aside, blades destroys what it runs into while destroying the blade as well. Enemies can't really be dealt with, so what I found worked was go for the white things, put points in agility and tail cohesion, and to heck with the details.

I'm very confused... I understand that the blade powerup lets you destroy things you run into a limited number of times, but what does the armor do and why do I keep losing segments? I honestly don't see anything hitting them... do the little white things hurt me?

At the start of each level, when the menu pops out, there is info about each new creature and how to kill or avoid them.

I agree with a lot of posts here -- I loved the game, and almost everything about it. But I'm still a bit confused... which are seekers, swarmers, and warpers? What are the little purple things? Do my blades do anything when non-maxed? How about armor? I think some of the game became clearer when you added info, but not all of it.

I guess I'm still missing something. I can max out blades and kill one type of enemy, but maxed out armor seems to do nothing unless I get the armor powerup... which also removes my blades.
Why did I evolve those again? Do those powerups now show up otherwise?

This is one of the best games on Kong. Honestly this should be next weeks card game and it should have badges. I love this game, it chills me out and is rather simple. Well done on a briliiant game! 5/5

I posted more info about the game mechanics over on the left. This should shed a bit of light on some of the confusing bits.
I tend to get developer tunnel-vision after playing my games 1000 times in a row.

I'm confuzzled by this. I think it needs some more instruction as to what's going on...
It was pretty though, and the sounds were prettier.

Very fun, good pace. I agree with others, needs some guide on what the power-ups do. I'd collect them but not notice anything different.

Vittu If you go any further, I'll have to increase my text fields to hold that insanely high score of yours!
You have surpassed the master!

I played for ten minutes and still wasn't sure what I was doing. The powerups are too cryptic, and the smart bombs do nothing to the enemies.
And yes, it's very obviously inspired by flOw. That's not a bad thing, though.

I love this game. I just totally zenned out on it and was just racking multipliers UP into the 20+ range. My score went ballistic.
I love this game. I only played it because it's named after a brilliant, tiny window manager; but it's just so incredibly ZEN.

Thanks for all the comments everyone, I really appreciate them!
I've been bustin my b@(($ on this game for the past few months, and there's still lots that I want to do.
If you get a chance, check out the Champions Dimension on the game over screen... It's a special salute to the top 25 players!

I was expecting this to be what I expected flOw HD to have... It doesn't. :P
But it's better than the original flOw anyway...
