this game is awesome! my 5years old nephew loves it, but he was disappointed that the last level wasn't inside the enemy lab (don't ask me why he thinks the portal is a lab, i don't know). He kindly asks for a sequel.

With all the tips going around on how to beat level 5, the best way I found was:
-max archery level, and spam arrow/shotgun/cannon combo against drakes
-have 3 rows of maxed poison archers, followed by maxed spikes
-have maxed iceball/fireball and iceball/fireball upgrade
-use one ice ball every time you see a fire elemental, then continue gunning down drakes
-if given the opportunity, spam fireballs against orcs/regular mobs.

I would suggest an increase in the amount of damage for head shots instead of a random critical chance. It adds another level of skill that I prefer in defense shooter games like this.

Hoping sequel will have archers able to be placed on the tower wall as well. I mean why should you be the only one who can hit the dragons.

I really had very little difficulty beating this game. I maxed out XP and Spikes very quickly, filling the ground with spikes and shooting arrows, next I maxed everything in champion other than shotgun, then I maxed archer. Once archer is maxed my field looked like 4 rows of spikes, 4 rows of archer. I rarely had issues with coins except (MAYBE) on the first wave, but even then, I rarely took damage, even with no HP upgrades.

barricades and spikes are decent but if u have extra upgrade points, maxing knights and heal makes a better wall since u can heal them and they take reduced dmg;
also spikes do good dmg but ice traps can immobilize super minions except drakes;
spells seem to be bad due to cast time so i'd only invest in heal for knight wall;
cannon is op as hell though
so if u wanted u could do 2-3 columns of ice traps, 1 knights, and rest archers;

@Apothekary There is a combo you can perform with the cannon and shotgun. Just hit shotgun-shotgun-cannon-shotgun-shotgun-cannon... you will literally annihilate just about anything with that combo. It bursts even the toughest guys down in just a few seconds.

This game was awesome (4 stars) back in March when I first played it. A friend commented on it and drew my attention back. Glad I did. The improvements are awesome, too. Changed my rating to 5 stars after finishing it again and getting the hard badge! Nice funstorm!

Didn't need fire-ice combo at all. Just recommended rows and spamming arrows with well placed lightning bolts and all they ever almost broke were walls.

If you want to have auto fire, just hold down left click, then press right click while still holding it down. go outside of the screen and left click again. now, you just have to aim back into the screen and you are auto firing.

Gave it 3/5. Would have given it a 4, except for 2 things:
1) making us pick up coins. It's old, stupid, and annoying - stop making us pick up coins, people!
2) Needs an autofire (unless I missed it somewhere?) holding down the mouse button for extended periods of time is not good for you.

easy way to use all 3 weapons at once: have three fingers on 1,2, and 3, but dont press them. click the mouse to fire one, immediately the next, and then the next. it is a nice way to avoid cooldown times. Switching between shotgun and cannon would be best because of damage

Last stage, last wave, a ghost got through my defense without me noticing, and when I "won" the stage i realized i lost my 3 stars because it took down half my hitpoints

WHAT?! LMAO my base was completely intact. i killed the final enemy on the wave and my base collapses and i get a defeat screen.... IT WAS AT 100% HP LOL omg :x

I did it almost like you can read it in the other comments: Keep switchingbetween the first 3 hotkeys, upgrade only the "protector" and "Champion" trees, 1 line of pits 2 of spikes and the rest with archers. Just keep replacing archers if they get killed.(usually 1-3)

I really think an auto fire option would be great. Holding down the button gets a bit crampy for old people like me with arthritis.

Here's my 3 star strategy for the last level: for traps, I had 3 rows of fully upgraded archers in the back, 3 rows of fully upgraded barriers and then 3 rows of maxed out freeze traps. My weapons were maxed out arrows and lightning spell with max mana upgrades. Basically I let the archers take care of most of what happens on the ground while I use lightning and arrows to kill drakes and replace barriers (healing uses too much time / mana) as necessary. I try to zap orcs and elementals with lightning to soften them up if I can and when the skies are clear I just rain arrows into the crowd.

the hard badge isnt hard at all, to skill: max fireball/iceball/cannon/xp/gold/archer/spikes/wall/mana. perfect build: 4 rows of archer 1row of walls and the rest spikes. how to play: keep switching between fireball and iceball and against weak opps like slimes/spiders use canon. when u run out of mana use the canon as well

1st row full upgraded freeze trap, 2nd-4th row full upgraded spike trap,5th row full upgraded wall and last 3 row full upgraded archers.(from left to right)I think the most powerful attack is cannon(3)>shotgun(2)>bow(1) because you just hold to shoot and keep click 321,321...in fastest beat, you can kill the orc by using 3 times 321: 2 times 321 for fire beast: 2 times 321 plus few bow for dragon and also you will kill many other enemies by cannon. I think it take a shorter time than using fire-ice-fire magic balls.

the game is waay too easy, though it has a lot of potential. if u ever gunna make a sequel, heres some thoughts: ditch the screen scrolling its kinda annoying, give the ability to get more stuffs, such as equipment, new bows and shites boughtable with stars and slap on some graphic changes for these too people always love it when they can change the character looks, expand the field, add choices of difficulty ENH each with different stars and make sure when people finish on H they got the stars from EN too, more levels, different characters, etc etc, overall 3/5.

its pretty stupid that many of the levels are easy, but then every now and again you get a stupidly hard wave (wave 5 on level 9 for example) that is VERY VERY VERY VERY HARD to beat with the small amount of upgrades you get!

early wave calls should be rewarded coins, giants sohuld give more coins and they can be killed harder, cannon is brekaing game balance, with spikes and cannons level is completed easily so evel hardness should tend to player using other elements of game.I like art and sound.Now its good game, if gameplay is improvedi it will better much.good luck
