headshots should have a higher crit rate.say your using the arrow and you have 2 points in bow crit,your crit chance is 4%.but if you hit their head,it could be something such as 6%.just a suggestion

I really had very little difficulty beating this game. I maxed out XP and Spikes very quickly, filling the ground with spikes and shooting arrows, next I maxed everything in champion other than shotgun, then I maxed archer. Once archer is maxed my field looked like 4 rows of spikes, 4 rows of archer. I rarely had issues with coins except (MAYBE) on the first wave, but even then, I rarely took damage, even with no HP upgrades.

+ If you think it needs to go faster or have a fast foward button. It's still a good game but 1 last thing only 10 levels please update the game so we have more levels to play. Otherwise really good game. 4/5 Stars

i hope you fix this if you have say the shotgun then equip it then reset your skills and don't buy it you will still have it equipped

I hereby unofficially name the Lightning spell as the "Pest Zapper". Every time there was a large horde of little creatures taking shots, the Pest Zapper would clear a good portion of them. Also, it is especially useful in clearing the drakes from the sky...the only flying enemy.
As for what I mainly used in the final battle(or at least the final wave), I used fully up-ed archers(4 columns), barricades(3 columns), Lightning w/ fully up-ed mana, and a full-duration ice ball(no damage need). I gained and up-ed Heal + cannon during the last wave, so they didn't factor until late. Knights are better, but they are more expensive than barricades. Any time I saw a large gathering, one bolt and sometimes an ice ball as well would usually clear it. Ignore the drakes until they are at least 1/3 of the way in. They don't harm troops and one bolt will weaken them enough for an easy finish, plus they're slow. By the wave's end, I still had 3+ columns of Archers. You can do it, fellow players! :)

And yes we got a winning combination. First 4 lines of spikes, then 1 line of knights and last 4 lines of archers. And of course only using shotgun is the best part :D

Alright, aside from the vertical difficulty leap on the last wave of the game, there are some other odd logic breaks in this game:
Skeletons bleed when injured. Why?
Archers never shoot up when confronted with dragons. Ever. Are they all descended from Megaman?

I stopped playing this game quite a while ago, after trying just the first two levels. Coming back and playing some more, I've realized that this game is a strategical masterpiece. It allows the player to discover the best defenses all by themselves, without having to consult a guide or walkthrough. My best defense is as follows: Pits on the front and fourth lines, with frost traps in between. The fifth line is open for use on a whim. The sixth line has knights, and the 7th and 8th have archers. Now I adore the personal combat. I fluctuate between the bow, the shotgun, and the cannon, firing the gun when the cannon is on cooldown, and the bow when the gun is on cooldown. But the thing that REALLY made the game for me was the magic attacks. Big group of tough baddies got you down? Fireball. Iceball. FIREBALL! ICEBALL! If the perks for more damage when the enemy is burning/slowed are fully invested in, these attacks will do 150 damage with each hit, plus slowness and damage over time.

A multishot upgrade might be nice to have. Maybe have the Champion skill tree fork to a couple of different shots upgrades (cannon - % chance to shoot two cannon balls, fire 2-3 arrows, faster arrows...etc) and throw the archers over to protector (since they're basically a trap). To balance out the sorcery tree, maybe an exocism upgrade to your arrows for ghosts or dragonblood coated arrows to help kill dragons faster. Great game overall - 5/5

Ditto on BennyGreen (almost). Used 3 rows of archers, 1 row wall, 3 rows of slowing totems and full archery tree. Cannons, shotgun and bow everything and you wont let anything thru on any level. Also, The only thing epic about the last level is the length of it....ffs I thought it would never end.

Thereshoul be an update for gettin some coins if we start the wave early and to change the music (this music remins me of arcuz 2) and it's kinda boring to listen, there should be some techno or rock to be more interesting. Great game 5/5 and there should be a little market where to have some pets or the arrows to be on fire or other element.And there should be a guide for the info for the monsters.Love the help from the archers.

i dont have a perfect gameing computer but these are the games that i can play without any. lag in my pc: hitman absolution, skyrim, far cry 3, fallout new vegas, dishonored. however when it comes to play your game, my mouse can not even response without 3-4 second delay(lvl 10 final wave)
i realy dont know what to say. you dont have to add that much mobs to make your game harder.. rise their hit points or atack or speed what ever but dont make this f... screan full of mobs. :(

The game needs just a bit more tweaking in the gameplay. I could beat all the first levels using spikes+maxed bow. Then I maxed the whole skill tree and finished the game with 4 rows of spikes followed by 4 rows of archers, switching between bow, shotgun and canon(for their cooldowns). 3 stars in the first try of everything, thank god there's this tolerance to castle damage, because I got hit twice on levels 8 and 9.

Extremely easy game. All I did was max archery (except for XP gain, which, as it turns out, is completely useless), coins from the Protector tree, and Freeze Traps. Then I just put some archers at the back, 2 lines of freeze traps near the front, then spam as many archers as possible, and stick with the arrow/shotgun/cannon combo. Didn't lose a single archer on the last level.

With all the tips going around on how to beat level 5, the best way I found was:
-max archery level, and spam arrow/shotgun/cannon combo against drakes
-have 3 rows of maxed poison archers, followed by maxed spikes
-have maxed iceball/fireball and iceball/fireball upgrade
-use one ice ball every time you see a fire elemental, then continue gunning down drakes
-if given the opportunity, spam fireballs against orcs/regular mobs.

I want to like it, but I must confess that it lags really bad for me. Really really bad. And if others are playing it at normal speed and still complaining about the length of later levels, then that means if _I_ play them they'll be even LONGER for me. That's a lot of time. :/ Why no quality button?

What was 'hard' about this hard badge? ffs.. At first max you XP, then the whole archery line except for shotgun/cannon. Always build at least 1-2 lines of archers per level. Then max barricades, then get to lightning bolt and you shouldn't have any problems anymore, anywhere.
