oh and btw, if you guys thought that the orc beserkers were overpowered, you havent even seen the maru. picture orc beserkers with 40% parry and regen health. O.P.

have to agree with ktherock7. library needs to learn from defeats. some units seem to have no effective counter otherwise. otherwise, very good game! thought the "morale bar" was more fair then some other conventional methods in games of this type, (time, mana etc) and seems more realistic. overall 3.7/5

Really nice game, but you don't get any XP at all from lost battles and you get half XP from repeated battles. Those things only seem to make things take longer rather than adding anything good. Also, the choice of units was a bit too skewed towards sword and spear wielders. But even with those things, and a few other minor things, I'd give this game 4/5.

It would be so much better if the faster units could take over the slower ones! The way it is now makes the support units almost completely useless. Especially the ranged units: they are expensive (except the skirmisher) but weak and attack much slower then the melee units. If two ranged unit faces eachother that will effectively freeze that lane for a long time. The other support units rarely worth their price too becouse they are too expensive to support only that 2-3 units you can send before them and also they slow down your cavalery.

Assasin-like units are a real bother when the enemy have them, time and time again killing your most expensive units, but they are kind of worthless when I try to use them in the same manner: their poison hits so rarely and they fall so easily compared to their price. Whenever I tried to use them they just drained my always too few money!
Btw berserkers are so unfair - especially the stronger ones - as there is no porper unit to counter them!

Anyone who is stuck on the berserkers: Poison FTW. Use assassins if you have them. If not, scream in pain until you finally beat it D:

Great Game. Would be greater if I could reset points spent in the academy to try a new strategy rather than start a new game. That being said it also needs a return to main menu button.

How come I got the health of an enemy team down to 0/100 they carried on spawning and managed to get my health down to 0/100 then I lose? How does that work?

the archers and crossbowmen are useless..they cost high but weak as sh!t..even the skirmishers are better than them...
oh and its best if u use lancers and swordsmans and some skirmishers in a battle and launch cavalry assault (or support e.g healers/engineers)..well..thats how i play this game..

Berserker - Class is Light Axe Infantry - Attack: 14 - HP: 80 - Range: 1 - Speed: 1 - Cost: 20 - +4 attack vs Infantry units - Dual Wield: Attacks twice as fast as normal. ((if this helps any, this is the library description of the Orc Berserker))

For the berserkers, in the beta (I don't know if now it's the same) I used to counter them with a tough unit (like legionnaire) just when they are at 1/3 of the base, and then rapidly spawn some (3/4) cheap archers (in a crowd) so they attack at the same time, and the berserker can't heal fast enough... the legionary even survived :D

Too hard, you can't really do anything in Swinebrook. The most efficient tactic against those double wielding orcs is either Legionary (16 gold) or Guardsman (10 gold) and you need atleast two legionaries and three-four guardsmen.

I greatly enjoyed this game, much more then warlords (perhaps its the upgrade system and overall esthetics?) especially once legendary mode was unlocked.

can there be like stars like 3 stars is 1000 xp 2 stars 800 xp 1star for 500 xp and no star for 200 xp.just a suggestion

A very well balanced game, the advantages that certain unit types have over others are very efficient, though it would have been nice if you had some units that can both fight from a distance and up close like the skeleton warriors in the last levels, it would make up for the fact that most of the time the melee warriors get stuck behind the ranged

A winning strategy on normal and legendary: spam marines with skirmishers right behind them. Late in the game, add shield breakers when affordable (and whenever you can do "Launch Wave"). To finish up battles as quickly as possible, spam siege crossbows to mop up the last of the enemies.
