I like what ktherock7 suggested. If I lose the battle, I'd like to know what I could do differently to beat the unit that killed me. On that topic, how do I defeat the guys w/ the two swords in Swinebook, on Taurania?

this is a good game except it screws up victory and defeat cause i killed the other guy first (brought his life to 0) then he brought mine to 0 but I lose i KILLED HIM FIRST

Getting only half xp on the replay of a level is a bad thing in this game. It makes it just boring and let us wait too long for upgrades. Next time put more thoughts into the strategic part of this game.

Two things: I'm assuming "Eldminster" is a reference to Elminster, which is a pleasant shout out to one of the baddest ass mages out there; and the assassins are BRUTAL if you keep boosting them

Easy win with scout only, for mid and late stage. just spam scout on 1 line, ignore any hard enemy, spam until their base camp become zero, then use engineer morale wave (since it gonna full) to recover your base hp, then finish the remaining enemy army (usually only enemy archer left)

I can only go to the next level because the further on ones don't "require my help"...kind of makes me think these attacks might be MY fault...

Here is how you beat every mission in 40- 1 min : 1. Get assassin unit(Only 14g, 25% block, 10% instant kill, move fast). 2. Upgrade hp + attack for him and 40% gold generate 3. Spawn him as much as possible 4. ???? 5. Profit :D.

So I keep reducing their HP to zero...and they keep coming for another 20 seconds until I get another unit on their side...want to explain that one?

A very good game, lots of fun. However, you still have to balance the units and the "paper, scicors, stone"-thing. Some units are to powerful and not weak enough against their special opponent. Other units are completely useless, like the casters e.g. In legendary mode I just used scouts and nothing else. Because they are so quick, one can use "wave" more quickly, and they are cheap. In normal mode I normaly just used 2-3 types of units throughout the complete campaign. Whenever I tried to mix up my troops, it just did not work. For example, I could do the whole campaign with Scouts and Border Cavalry only. Or I just use Marine and Helian Archer till I get Hearthguard and Ranger. The game should be more stragetical and require the player to think about which units to use before AND during a battle.
Oh, and can you add some additional music? ;)

Lolz I remember a type of game like this called robot war strategy... This game is a VERY big improvement upon that game.

This game is unbalanced and buggy but pretty fun. If you wait until the bad guys are almost at the left edge of the screen then spam 3 or 4 units they will all hit at once and gang rape it. This is the only way I could deal with the cheesier enemy units.

Best Legendary strategy I've found: 2 Shield Maidens per row to stop initial assault and then spam scouts on all rows. Send Lancers for full waves. Send more Shield Maidens if a particular row is struggling. Never use ranged - it just slows your victory.

I think it's a bad idea to make the archers able of staying behind the others. Otherwise, ten archers behind one spearman would kill everything with no damn tactics.

It's actually better than warlords. I rellay like the graphics, they are nice and there's no lag on my little e-book. The design of the characters are great, the upgrades are good... When is the following coming ? :D

Can beat all game with only Light Cavalry. Only buy relevant upgrades (from top to bottom, best lines are 4th, 3rd and 1st, 2nd only has range unit upgrades). Quick wins - rush a single lane with light cavalry, you'll get the enemy to 0hp before his units reach your base. Then just finish it off.

Okay so this is a good game but there a ton of problems with it.
1) As many people have said units need to be able to pass through each other, having guards waiting behind a archer while the archer gets slaughtered just doesn't make sense.
2)The Berserker and Dual Wielding units are just ridiculous, the only enemies that can really counter them are the units that have tough, but by the time you get Tough units you've already had to go through 10-20 lvls against the berserkers without a single counter to them.
3) There are way too many infantry units, any enemy with +X against infantry will pretty much demolish your team.

4)Enemies with parry should NOT be allowed to regenerate their health while they parry, I've had a single Merman thing walk through my whole team because every time he was low on health he just started parrying and regenerated all his health. The same with enemies who double their damage at low health, and also have parry. I've seen them just slaughter a whole line because they were killing my men with 1 or 2 blows
5) Why don't the Shield Maidens and Templars have a +X against undead, the only units with that ability are the priest and priestess who are completely useless on the front line.

A suggestion for the dialogue, have all text available at once so we don't have to wait for it to fill the screen. The next button just skips the text and we have no way of going back to read what we missed.

By the way another tip is to simply let the berserkers and other really tough opponents pass. Then send out a couple builders. Remember that you can also send out a wave of builders. Read my comment below for an in depth startegy.

In the later levels this is the best strategy. This also is a okay strategy for early levels. Then upgrade eveything that has to do with calvary and swords (start early). Also upgrade the money start out to at least a hundred at the start. Then every time a battle starts wait for the first enemy to spawn. Then spend your 80-100 starting dollars all on scouts in another lane. Right behind them wait for your money to charge (upgrade coin generation if this is a problem) then buy a banner gaurd. An enemy may come in contact with the scouts if so its not that big of a deal. Note that many units will make it to your cam. Ignore them. Then start putting other scouts in other lanes. When your wave power bar is full use it on engineers who repair the camp powers because the starting out money upgrade also increases the engineers abilities. The enemy should have zero health. Then wipe out the rest of the enimies and you win with about 80-100 health left. THIS WILL MAKE THE GAME EXTREMELY EASY.

We have a brain to figure out.....this game is so far better than others....surprise less bugs in the game...which play much fairer than others...hope that helps to other developer to design with common sense....
