For Scribble bug, If someone can send me a screen , or describe it to me so I can make the bug myself then I can fix it. I tried what he said and don't see it: move all units except one then pass?

Hi all, there was an update please refresh your browser! Scribble, if you still see it please send a bug report and a screen shot if you can.

Hmm, hit level 3.. moved all my guys once.. moved my last guy for the first turn and suddenly the game pops up saying I lost and have 0 points. MASSIVE GLITCH.

Actually, there are instructions. You just have to look down near the bottom of the main screen. Plus, you have a demo mode which is so interesting to watch! XD

Sorry Gamebrew! Maybe I should tell people when I'm going to use their games for challenges... but that would ruin the surprise! (Seriously though, I love this game, and sometimes I wait until Thursday to decide what the challenge is going to be, but this was the clear choice as soon as it was uploaded.)

I don't move when the level begins, this got me through to L5 flawlessly then, for not moving, I was defeated (and on subsequent restarts, until reload). And I got no badge/card.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Agh, I went out and didn't know Kong was using this game for a badge! I got a lot of complaints, I updated it now instead of Saturday. The disappear bug is messing people up. Should be fixed now!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
AAARRRGGHHH!!! Made it past level 4, earned the card and the Easy badge, and the friggin' game crashed!!! Anyone else had the game crash? Happened when my mage attacked- right at the point that it should have assigned chain damage. Grrr, angry. >:0

Good game, slightly buggy but other then that its a nice game with a truly nice game play, adicting as hell, and like they said "minuets to learn, a life time to master"
4/5 due to bugs

This would have taken ages. It's a fantastic game, 5/5, but it has a couple of things...
1. It's annoying how the game doesn't always compute the best path for the lightning (eg my AI once hit 3 targets when I would have aimed at 4)
2.

I don't like Tactics games... This one's good, even great for a flash game, but I just can't find a good reason to play it!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This game is a crap knock off of "Tactics Arena Online". It's really dumb. Where the crap is my badge? I earned my badge!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
there is a bug...when archer moved through footman's square, he disappeared...then she heals the invisible one and then...the game does not continue
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
good game but...wouldn't 'blocking lightning' with a shield make in stronger?(a metal shield conducts electricity for all you ppl who not in school)

Dude! You just completed the Taste of Battle achievement in Tactics 100 Live v1.5 and won the Taste of Battle badge and 5 points! Wow I was just playing without realizing there was a badge lol

BzAli you can in fact tell when a piece has been upgraded, if you cant just mouse over the enemies pieces then you cant complain when his uber piece womps you. I do love this game and I know I was a pain for leaving as many times as I did. But when the other guy is obviously going to win, and he still decides to take a full 70 seconds to make a move, well I get impatient. I've also noticed that alot of times the counter reaches zero and im still waiting to take my turn.

I still think that when a player quits, he should be declared loser. As stands, you can quit when you're not behind in an absolute sense, but with a clear tactical disadvantage. You might loose points, but your opponents does not count as the winner. That sucks!!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
yeah, that sucks when someone walks out on you! It gives me the blues! Like my woman done up and left! I got the tactical blues! Fix that gamebrew. If you got up and walked away from a chess grandmaster it would be scored as a resignation and your rating would drop. I got the blues!

Gamebrew: I'd like to start a feature on "COCAK":http://www.cocak.blogspot.com that showcases a game of the month, I've chosen Tactics to start it off, and I was wondering if you would be able to provide a interview based on the development of the game, from concept to creation.

BzAli: The pieces may not be equal. But everyone gets the same 100 points to spend so it is equal. If you lost, the only factors are the choices you made: the units, their positions, their upgrades and the moves you made on the board. So again, if you find yourself losing, redesign your team and strategy.

For people leaving early there is no way to force someone to play a game they think will lose even with point penalties. If you suddenly realized you were playing a chess master and you knew the game would take an hour wouldn't you quit? I give people one full turn to quit without penalty to give them a chance. And as expert players get a higher score the auto-match will get them with other experts who will be more confident and not leave so easily.

This game is not chess.....
The idea is not to have an equal army and have your own special team.
There is a penalty for leaving but the creater can't do anything about it if someone wants to go....
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I take back my early 4, and downgrade it to a 1. A game where the sides doesn't have equal pieces, and where you can't even see what powers your opponents pieces have is nowhere near chess. In addition, a game where your opponent can cheat you of victory by leaving when you have a tactical advantage, but before you start taking pieces is crap.

In the live game... there needs to be some kind of real punishment for people who quit early... out of a dozen games, Only 3 people have played through. Maybe if someone ditches out, you could take away say 10 tatics points each time making them have to rework thier characters... 3/4 of the people quitting halfway through is really frustrating when trying to enjoy a great game like this!

iBrow: you could get some archers with upgraded distance against that. But then he can have two healers that can heal eachother faster than you can shoot them with a shitty archer on the other side.. but maybe the points of two healers taken away from the wizards weakens them enough so you can charge!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
My one problem with this game is that there's no punishment for being defensive... in multiplayer, if your opponent sets up their army as just a bunch of wizards or something and then camps the back row, there's no way to win.
There should be some kind of punishment or way to force each player to attack.
Also, this same trick works against the computer, because it will always charge forward, so you can just wait for him.

For mrmoocky's post. If you want to save your current Kongregate record, that is the wrong place. Its in folder [chat.kongregate.com /game_files/0000/2738/tactics100.swf] tho if you play on gamebrew you can copy that over. See that number "2738" that changes everytime I update that's why everyone's save get's cleared.

The originality thing is always coming up. Like I said in a previous post I took ideas from Tactics Arena and Tactics Ogre the only two tactics game I've played. Also my own ideas. Arena had so many units that did kinda the same thing, also I wasn't sure when my turn was coming, and if you just started playing everyone has an advantage over you. But that game is great and yes the graphics are cool. Saturday I'll upload a new version, I fixed a whole bunch of bugs, especially the sudden unit disappearing bug, and you'll be able to rematch people. Thanks!
