Every single balloon destroyed has to Hindenburg into the ground and then mushroom cloud. I don't care if it destroys my buildings, it's the only right thing to do.

It's a great game except each mission takes forever. It's not all that fun to hold down my mouse button for 15 minutes.

Even if we lose a level, we should be awarded experience. It sucks when you spend 15 minutes on a level and have nothing to show for it.

sweet merciful jezus, it is finally done, it's not that the impossible badge is hard, it's just putting time into the game, as for me, I did a few levels a day so as to at least actually get some progress done, but yea, yay 60 pts.

OK, now this hidden stage thing is really hacking me off. It is almost impossible to complete the first boss without accessing the hidden sixth stage, and in spite of completing the first 5 all with 5 stars it still hasn't appeared (even though it did appear yesterday when I tried the game on another PC). I can only assume that I need to score more points.
Definitely not good game design.

who put that captain in charge anyway why wouldnt you send in a platoon of soilders and the AA guns would be defensless

Ouch, the pain of going through the last (Fuel of War) campaign after going through the game twice already is just awful. The game isn't that bad, but for the impossible badge: it just KEEPS on dragging on. :-(

Pilot: Sir we keep throwing all our balloons at them, but it seems they have a a flak 88 gun with infinite ammo. We've lost thousands of balloons, maybe we should change tactics. General: How dare you question me! get in that balloon!

Ammo, shell speed, build speed, build price, and all building but the oil refinery are pretty much useless, and you can go the whole game without upgrading them. This lets you use your points on damage increasing, and score increasing things. Score is good because you will gain more levels, which gives you more points towards damage things.

Officer: "Sir, we have spent billions on ballons, men, and bombs trying to destroy a single mobile automatic gun emplacement and have only the carcasses of thousands of ballons to show for our efforts. During the few times we managed to destroy it, the enemy immediately brought up a new replacement which was not any less effective. What are your orders?"
General: "Keep on throwing more balloons at them. I'm sure we'll win the war by destroying that gun emplacement."
Officer: "Sir, yes sir!"
Player: (After blowing up the hundred thousandth balloon) "You'd think they would change tactics by now..."

There is a bug with Oil Rig in five levels (five blue points), in these level no producing any gold :( fix it please...

i'm surprised i even knew that much about history but it probably has to do with my love for ww2 and airsoft. social studies is not my favorite class.

grandwushu, yes i know what steampunk is, just a joke. either way i've moved on to xbox this year but always fun to come back to old kong and see what computer game designers are making compared to the old stuff. and yes, this is a great game. although starfighter disputed galaxy is one of my favorites. can't wait to see how the new one looks when it comes out.

sc31, i don't think there has ever been a real battle like this. Its called steampunk. Its like 1800s vision of future mixed with modern day.
Excellent game. I played maybe a year ago and now I am replaying and enjoying the campaigns all over again. Thats a sign of a good game.

super monkey storm only 850! but honestly, when were artillery cannons and balloons in the same era? great game and concept though, if the balloons were filled with hydrogen like the greatest balloon failure of all, all you would need is a lot of fire or sparks. those shells would ignite those things faster than the next one could come. one shot kill.

One of the most fun things about the game is going back to the easy levels and using the variety of weapon types of the flak for fun.
for example, you could either go max damage, max accuracy, and max shell speed for a super strong "sniper", or you could use full rapid fire and ammunition for a machine gun. and then again, you could max all of em and go overkill lol

I agree with Player609, a couple of comments below this. Cursed my ambition for the 60pts badge that makes me play that "bonus" campaigns! (which are a limited version of the long, boring main campaign with a fancy name, like a remasterization of Boredom). I would rather say that Prometheus finds more joy with his eagle affair.

loool the flak is super powerful! i killed the first boss with max def,atk reload speed,and 5 on firing speed XD
(and doing 5 stars on all stages)
