I take it these blimps are all made from some sort of mythril-adamantuim alloy? It's the only explanation as to why MISSLES and huge BOLTS OF ELECTRICITY and my FLAK CANNON have a hard time destroying them!

After playing the last battle until my finger hurt, I lost another battle in the very last wave and finally gave up on this game becoming any fun. I am glad Game in a Bottle makes rather diverse games, as most of their games suit me fine. I just cannot help disliking this one. I am glad it brings joy to others, though :-)

What I mostly did was upgrade the reload time for my flak cannon (it seemed the most essential thing to upgrade), while upgrading the shell damage and the shell speed. During the first boss battle, I upgraded the armor of my building(s), which everybody should do if they don't want to lose by being bombarded by the boss.

I'm confused by the "Oh, and score ten million points" on the impossible badge. I just made it through the second boss and already have that many points :/

I know this sounds like a pretty dumb question, but I'm only on the elite mode right now. For the impossible badge, do you have to score 10 million points in one battle or as a total score? Pm me if you know the answer.

The secret way is getting 5 stars on the first 5 levels and it unlocks a secret level which is easier than the boss one.

If i was the last surviving balloon pilot in an entire attacking force i wouldn't keep going forward into the solid wall of flak. Oh no no. I'd turn right around and bomb my army's command post. Their commanders ought to be executed for extreme ineptitude and stupidity then I'd raise my own army to fight against there flak cannons with infantry and planes not balloons and armoured tanks not with balloons! (P.S this will get negative I know it)

The Heat Seaking missle has slow reload rate! But not bad or good it's moderate as for the game it's easily the best game on kongregate and a question does anyone know were this game was originated???

I noticed something that makes this game a little easier: if you start firing and hold down the mouse button while moving your cursor off the screen to the left, you can still shoot the balloons that have already spawned but haven't become visible yet. This lets you get a head start on the next wave if there is nothing else on screen. Your towers can't do this; it also shows you the balloons' health as if you were mousing over them, so you can start a bomber wave early if you see a blimp (~20k hp) incoming. This made thunder mode a little less tedious for me...

@edibl the fifth one is probably for completing all of them or completing the campaign. the other four are just for beating the epic battles.

Does anyone know why my achievements are not going through? I am on the final level of with the big balloon, and I don't even have the medium badge.

What do the gold balloons on the map mean? In the game there are 5 badge spaces for epic battle badges, but 4 gold balloons on the map, so it's not that... then what do they mean?
I think the battle map needs more symbols and a key (e.g. epic battle here, number of waves). I like the diversity of balloon shapes and sizes, and I like the backgrounds on the levels. Very good upgrade system too. 5/5

O_o a german ww2 era flak 88 anti-aircraft gun later used as a anti tank weapon when dropped to ground level..... instant 5/5

For all guys who dont wanna search long for the secret way to get the achievment:
You have to complete the first 5 Missions with 5 Stars (easy with upgraded dmg and reloadspeed and more points per kill so u dont need ur troops just ur flag cannon)

So they have enough money to train thousands of balloon pilots and launch as many aircraft, while my side can fund a few AA turrets and the occasional squadron of fighters.
