Does anyone know if there is a hidden level of each map? What I mean is, when you beat Normal/TimeSeige/Bleeding Edge etc, one piece of the level lights up. But there's one piece on the very bottom that is still dark. Is that like a secret part of the level?

The core gameplay elements of this game are awesome. Better than the original even, however the upgrades are vague and not directly beneficial they need to be more optional at least at the beginning than only affecting your mana, a speed/ damage/ money gain upgrade (or the like, would give the player more variation and maintain the illusion of control), keeps the game 4/5

i think between hard and impossible badges there should be an extra hard badge worth 45 points but seriously what is the point of getting points

the last badge is actually a pretty simple endurance, though you'll have to learn some tricky strategies while reaching for it. Once you're wizlevel 100, you can go straight for the top without big hassle, and the last level is pretty easy if you're just to gembomb the Gem of Eternity. So this is not worth 60 points. hooverboy, yes it is.

Endurance is really not describing the "This is the Game that Never Ends" Badge. 30 Points neither.
I agree with nowhere111. It should be impossible in so many ways, I don't know where to start.

What doesn't make sense to me is how there are so many tower defence games, and yet no one has complained of a ripoff

I LOVE genetics, so this game really hits the spot. The endless fun of breeding gems has taken at least two hundred hours of my time with no sign of stopping. Well done sir, please do make a sequel to this extremely impressive game.

Has anyone crossed #8, the level with only two gems where armor level 13 monsters come as the second last wave? I have been stuck on it for many months!

Darkgold1021, your comment was extremely useful! Thanks! Another helpful strategy i found in Swarm was that if you have all lime gems maybe lvl 2 in a lvl, (with the upgrade) in towers, it was very useful. Your "super gem" strategy also helped me in carapace. Especially with all the monsters coming, wow. I was misleaded by the Strategy Guide, but your concept made me view a completely different perspective. Thanks for the Comment.

This is the game that never ends, it just goes on and on my friends, some people started playing it not knowing what it was and now they can't stop playing it forever just because this is the game never ends! and repeat form it just goes on....

I am the 12th highest all-time highest score (on Kongregate) reached in one level without speedhack / macros / cheating / etc! Many of the scores on the high score list are insane, but legitimate.

Well here I go again - been waiting for 5 months now for the new Gemcraft, which was promised in October. Hello???? October has come and gone, still waiting. I think we all REALLY hope it is going to be worth waiting for, this long...........................

Made it to level 75 about halfway through the game and decided to quit. The enemy health increasing exponentially in endurance mode kind of ruins it for me. By wave 100 the enemies had health in the billions. There's no way to compete with that, even if you spend hours combining gems. A good game though, was fun while it lasted.

bigzone: banish is automatic, if the monster reaches wizard tower, that monster gets banished to the start of the road. "Summon monsters" is known as anger, use gem bombs against the stones with numbers on the left for them to have more monsters. They will also be tougher and armored, so be careful.

even with all my mana extras maxed i only get enough mana for one tower and one grade 2 gem. that dosent kill anything. so by wave 5 im overrun and dead. Theres not enough mana replenishmant for the amount if enimies you throw at us. Nice way to ruin a great game. I liked the first one better it was more balanced.
