Continuing from step2, do that & also start supergemming the mana traps one at a time, til the mana gain/hit is 8.4(no trap special skill) or 10.1(maxed trap specials). Then, make the 1st trap a blue-red with 5 targets, 96% slow for 20+ seconds(supergem w/ blue G1s) & also make RB duals every 5-6 mana traps, it will make your mana skyrocket! Then from there simply supergem your prismatic as much as possible & always upgrade pool! You want to get to be able to combine your G11 with G6s only asap, or you will get so so so bored & sick of it that even with breaks you'll quit. From there on you need about 1-1.5 million total firepower from your prismatics I believe.

Step 2) When pool at 60k capacity or so, make a prismatic by keep combining grade 6s together to get a grade 11 prismatic(firing speed maxes at this grade at 279 shots/minute in tower, 670 in trap + yellow special) then super gem it first with whatever grade full sheet of gems(ctrl + click) you can make with your mana cap(full G6 sheet takes 140k mana with maxed forge). Then while supergemming so that the max damage of gem is 1/5th-1/6th the hp of the monsters in the wave(ooh almost forgot: Anger a LOT! especially giant monsters not only for score but mana! ESP mana in beginning)

Again sorry but I think I should write a basic guide for what I'm doing lol. Okay step 1) I was level 96 but I got 45k xp at lvl 60 first try(& panicked & ended it when I overangered a giant wave) and anyway, make pure orange G3 traps first, at least 6, and make a G4 dual x2, then use transmute if needed to upgrade all G3s to G4s pure. Then combine with pure red G4s for(make sure to max mana gain & splash masteries o: ) 5 targets & 3 mana gain. Then keep doing this, as it grows exponentially, expand pool, fill 1/4th track with them. Then go to step 2.

Posting on All 229 waves thread but also here: Wave 125, 250k firepower over 5 gems, all hue 185-200, and am keeping 1-2 million hp monsters(around 200) in the first quarter of the map(and receding, so I might have to let off for a bit so as to not intrude on my mana farm(which is filling up 700k mana in 3 seconds)). :D I might make it.

was actually wave 80 @ last comment. Wave 92, total prismatic max damage at 76000 spread between 2 gems. Finally found out how to "tailor" the dominant specials of both gems(best imho is either yellow max then red then lime or red then yellow then lime, both for max splash, crit, & lucky extra hit(max chain only like 20% so lucky). Also found out my G10 was bad as G11 is where it maxes out on firing speed. Oh well. Sorry to spam comments but I'm just so damn excited. I might actually pull this off, & I'm almost 8% there(probably reach @wave 150 & go to 1.5-2mil max dmg w/ 195 hue for safety + a LOT of RO & RB(thinking alternate bc my RBs are holding 200 monsters easily(yes I'm playing it cautious not for xp) Anyway....wish me more luck :)

Up to 40K damage now, not even wave 70, optimistic but might have slightly overangered a boss wave, now adding damage like crazy. Hue 195 seems to be working, thank goodness.

Doing an all 228 wave run on map 78, at lvl 96, 300million score only, wave 62, prismatic at 16000 dmg, mana pool 127K, wish me luck :) if I succeed from what I've read on the 228 thread I think I might be the lowest level to make it(also not using speedhack ^^) feel free to downvote but if you applaud me & wish me luck I thank you for your encouragement.

@Wisz lolz! I grinded GC0 from the 2nd arcane all the way to the fourth without noticing 3 hours passing by xD
@BrunSBrunS the tenth slot is Beyond Corruption, a mode unlocked after you beat map 78.
And why has everyone disliked my comments? I only offered suggestions and tips(okay yeah my last comment was a brag but still). I don't care about +s but why downrate? If you didn't find it helpful & found it spammy(not my fault, Kong has limit of 1000 characters & no edit button) others might benefit from it.

Each level has 9 battle mode, but if you look at the "Icon" of a level, it seems to have 10 slots. Is there an "hidden" battle mode ??

got 44k xp on last level at level 65 :D wouldve gotten more but I overangered wave like 50 something w/ giant monsters with 88k hp so I bombed the GOE to not lose(possibly)

Oops. Just realized that comment was from April. lol. Well any way that should help anyone else with problems for it. I personally found it harder then the 1st arcane guardian(I died twice on it vs 0 for arcane)

@P0nie I beat ID 15 at that level(15). Here's a tip. Don't go past level 8 for focus. Then get at least towerbuilder level 6 or 7. Then put remaining points into multiple damage mastery. Ok, now when you start it, place the blue-cyan into the middle trap, the G2 poison into the first, and another poison gem(G1) into the third. Build maybe 2 more traps too & fill em with G1 poisons. Then build towers and fill them with G3 duals, upgrade to G4 if needed, and only send waves early if the last one has finished.

The level requirement for the boss levels is just ridiculous. If they did that because it might be difficult at a lower level, at least let us attempt it. Otherwise I'm just wasting half an hour grinding.

Reloadin- To get the gems you want just transmute them by using a pure gem of the color you want & gem bombing a row of up to 3 gems of any color, & of equal or below grade, to sacrifice the gem bomb & get up to 3 others of the same color.

I have to say, this has got to be one of the best series of games in the "upgrade" category I've played in a long time. The attention to detail and great system in place for combinations and just the bare backbone solid system powering this game. Cheers.

definately the worst of the Gemcraft series. a lack of progression early on leads a lot of players to give up, me included, and Ive been playing Gemcraft for years and have many thousands of levels in Labyrinth.

Following the chronology of the story from Labyrinth to chapter I, you can see how the world of this game was changing. Mages lost much of their power and control over the magic. Many ancient skills were lost. No longer do they build shrines, they just use them until they brake and turn into useless rocks.

A hint for level 78: Have a high level critical hit mastery, max it out if you can, and have one or two gems that you only boost with yellow gems. You'll easily get to 100+ minimum damage with 30%+ critical chance. Then boost your gems to level 7 while still in the towers and when you get a break from monsters swarming into your stronghold, drop those gems on the GoE and watch the ending.

thank god you can get the mana steal mastery early on. For the shitty players like me, having a orange gems is a life saver :)
