I'd get premium edition if it was a stand alone game, no web browser required. Web browsers have a history of wiping my flash games and it just ain't worth it.

"Oh wow, our game is getting a lot of hits. Let's dumb it down and call that one the free version and make the original one the PREMIUM version! That'll show those poor gamers who's their DLC daddy."

I loved this game, came back playing it every other day, until I lost all data while backing up my pc. Otherwise I'd love to complete it but it's a long way now. :(

This entire game is worth more than $5. Anyone who thinks otherwise must not be a fan of the genre. There, I said it.

amazing td! very good game, well made! there is a bug, however...easiest way to reproduce is having 1 tower with 8 amplifiers around it, i usually do dual red+multi shot, upgraded very high so attack speed is very fast. Then if you call in say 5 or so waves at a time, it gets to where the tower doesn't attack any units but looks like the tower is shooting an amp or something...the bullet disappears, and the kill counter slows or stops (even if its 1 shot to kill the enemy, and there are hundreds of enemies within range)...not really that noticeable I guess, but I like to call a lot of rounds at once and this makes me have to slow down a bit.

Tolrick, here's some tips that'll at least work at semi-high levels and carry you through the game: 1. Selling wild gems is always better than using them. 2. Auto-extend 3. chain/blood duals will win every map (except for one boss fight). Unlock them asap. 4. Placement and timing are very important. Tested this from lvl 50 up, dunno what level the strategy kicks in.

heres a tip, Place a trap right next to an other one, place a slowing gem in the first trap and a mana gain/armor reduce/shocking gem in the second one. You can leech more mana from the slowed monster or have a greater chance of shocking it or tearing down its armor.

@jonny0panic: I do see your point that the charge time could have been made clearer. However, my suggestions were a lot better than your method of dropping gems on the shrine until it goes off. Furthermore, pressing space takes like no time at all, and if you play on normal speed you should have plenty of time to mouse over a shrine without even needing to pause. If you do find yourself swamped with thousands of monsters all over the screen and you're unable to find the time to press space (or you forget to), you should rethink your strategy because you've gone wrong somewhere.

I really like the changes to the game. Amazing job.
But I hate pay-to-win-games. You should at least make all the game modes available in the free game (especially "Endurance").

(*&^(^%(&^%$*%$^%$&*%!!!!! Over an hour of play, challenge amulet earned, just running through waves to finish an endurance: Flash decides to crash.

I'm addicted to the game and play it every day yet somehow I don't really enjoy it. I like it, but I never walk away feeling good about my time spent playing. There's something about the way you have to adjust the challenge to suit yourself that makes finishing levels feel unsatisfying. I prefer a tower defence game where the designer has set me a challenge not one I have to create myself.

Norcius, its still a good game without buying all the extras. But whatever more for me to play. Im sorry you cant afford five bucks, or take a survey to get points. But there is alot of work that go into making a game. The person who made this possible sacrificed work and school for this. They have to make up for it somewhere.

I love this game. Don't know what do you guys think about it, but it would be nice if the color of a level changed from red to green when we already have the challange amulet. + Extra blue dots should indicate the location of manashards on the minimap.

"After decades of preparation, the test you’ve been waiting for, the Labyrinth, has finally appeared before you…" You mean decades of playing Gemcraft chapter 0? x.x

Holy Mother Of All Crapz, that is some MONSTROUS optimization you did there! I'm douing a good ol' endurance run, and I'm surprised to have more than 5 frames per second. You, sir, are one of the best developer I've ever out. I love it! :D

Really $5 isn't that much for a game of this size. I get more play time out of this than almost any $60 xbox game and it's not like you had the buy the game first and buy the premium content after. You can play the entire game without the extra stuff so I don't believe this situation is as unreasonable as many people make it out to be.

Oh my god.. the people making this game give you an option to support them for all the hard they put into it.. what a crime.. how can they do this? Seriously people it's just a bonus and it's very cheap and gives you a chance to support them.

You made an iphone version but not a version for Android? Androids catching up to iphone real fast in its number of users so im not sure id call ignoring them wise.
