To kill the boss with a shortcut (you need to double jump) when you start go left double jump and your nearly at the boss, this is for people who cannot kill the boss.

Easy badge easy game... to have time to kill boss use shortcut from start go left and duble jump you will be on boss floor just go right killing few robots.

Great game. Only problem was I can spam the max powered gun shots hit the boss 4 to 6 times but it only counted the first shot. So the boss basically was purely on a time scale. Otherwise great graphics, stat system, and upgrade mechanics.

for all of you who dont know how to win the game and beat the boss; you need to have all upgrades for security. dont worry for coins only try to reach to the boss with all 5 lives in order to be able to beat the boss, if you need to use some shots, doesnt matter only try that you have at least 8 when you reach the boss, YOU HAVE 3 STEPS:
1.avoid being hit by the single shots of the boss
2.when the boss start to shot many at a time try to avoid them by going to the left or the right border you may only be hit maximun 1 time to beat the boss
3.after he stops he will simply go to the ground, and then you shot one time
4. then he will fly up again
Repeat every step in about 5 times in order to win

So I am one of those that cannot beat the boss. I am so game challenged. LOL I cannot get my gun to shoot upward. lol

All right folks, it's theory time. I'm gonna try and explain why what happens in Johnny Upgrade happens. Here goes: You never play as the original Johnny. The robot has found a way to cause the environment where the "level" is to cause people to lose every skill they have, and filled the air with poisonous gas that you can't last very long in. Johnny knew of this, and since he can't fight the robot himself, he has created an army of clones. Every upgrade you get is an upgrade for the clones; giving them the ability to keep their skills in the crazy environment. See, these upgrades are expensive, and being a superhero isn't a very high paying job. The actual Johnny is seen in the loading screen, the beginning when Johnny explains the whole upgrade thing, and the ending, where Johnny is seen flying away. The actual Johnny can fly, you see, but he can't seem to figure out how to get his clones to do so, although he did manage to give them a double jump. What do you think?

Hooray! Johnny Saved Teh World from the robot created by the annoying neighbour girl! It was about to destroy Cleveland! Bravo, good sir! (I do wonder if people will get this very subtle reference...it's to a specific episode of an old cartoon...)

Stupid boss. All he had to do was rotate one or both turrets 30 degrees when he rapid fired and he could have lived forever...
