Under rating threshold (show) ok heres how you perfect this game. bring back the old play system (only one creature, creatures only counter attack, insanity causes different effects but you can still play all your cards, you could keep suicidal as one of the possible effects though.) and add a deck builder and enough cards that people can make different and interesting decks, for example a deck that focuses on driving opponents insane, if they get suicidal or megalomania than its a success, if not you still gain a juicy advantage. a mobster deck, not as powerful but very low chance of insanity and good utility. and finally take out all this leveling up hooha and add in multiplayer. your game is still dripping with unharvested potential and i would hate to see the loving attention to detail and excellent balancing i saw in the first game go to waste.

Under rating threshold (show) bring back chaos to insanity, challenge mode, and unlock cards. This game has very little chaos, and it's now like every other card game instead of the amazingly chaotic original. It's comfortable to grind in this version, but I could do that with any game.

Under rating threshold (show) the games doesn't reliably update when searching for conditionals...like the remove taint each turn condition doesn't always work, and sometimes removed characters' abilities continue happening. I feel like it mostly has to do with the character area not working properly

Under rating threshold (show) I loved the first game and I love this game. Even though it was hours of mind-numbing evilness, I miss the challenge mode. Why? Because the story is so incredibly easy and it ends just like that. No extras. No great cards, no library, no new rounds. Nothing. It was rather disappointing. If this is all there's going to be it would be nice to get badges like on the first game. For example: Beat X amount of rounds: Easy badge. Get 150+ score at the end of a battle: Medium badge. Get all S rank rounds: ...Medium badge.

Under rating threshold (show) Great game. Only real flaw is it becomes super easy at higher levels. By the time I get to Cthulu, I walk all over him unless he gets lucky. A few suggestions: ---Make unique cards, like Wilbur Watley or Dunwich Horror, actually unique. Either only put one of each in the deck, or some games have the rule of "contesting" unique cards, where each player pays every round they want to fight for it until someone gives up. This price could be paid in sanity. ---A greater variety of cards would be cool. ---Fix the City of Ry'leah. Paying 6 sanity to cost your opponent 10 is useless. Plus it's a location that doesn't do anything once it's in play. I usually discard it for the 12 sanity boost. Like other locations, it should have a lasting effect. Maybe it can take its toll on the opponents sanity each round with a rising taint level. ---Have sanity damage modified by elder power. At higher levels, sanity attacks are pretty useless but adding spellpower makes them a threat at all levels.

Under rating threshold (show) Loved: Stars aligning to summon an elder one. (Brilliant!). Card design; can't wait to see new ones. Slots for Characters, Tomes, Locations, and Items. I suggest adding one more for personal weapons to carry. Ranking system (though too easy to achieve "S"). Insanity can cause suicide feature. Hated: Card Library is missing. No ability to unlock cards. Missing insanity options, (bring them back and add suicide to it). Sanity points are too high; bring them down 10 points). Cards missing from old game (none of the old cards where bad ones; bring them all back). Want: Ability to personally modify my deck. Turn this into a TCG. Follow League of Legends (LOL) model and make only the aesthetics cost real life (RL) money. (Example: Cards that glow, sparkle, shoot lightning, etc. No RL purchase should affect stats or availabiliy). LOL is doing this and making millions. Ty for making such a great Ctulhu Mythos card game.

Under rating threshold (show) I quite liked the locations, items and characters idea :) although perhaps the cards need some rework, like for example i find myself not using the mob hideout and assassin much. There are more "worthless" cards as compared to the first game.

Under rating threshold (show) Interface is worse than the first game, sanity has no point to it now that I can discern. Ranking system feels arbirtary and provides most of the supposed replay value in order to get S rank for increase to stats. Still decent though.

Under rating threshold (show) I love it. Great game. Loved the first one too. Don't let the haters get you down. Would like to have more different cards and the ability to build my own deck. I like how you unlock stat upgrades, would like to be able to unlock more new cards as well. Also wish the stat upgrades could stack after beating the last level, then it would have more replayability. Still, great game overall. Nice looking, lots of fun.

Under rating threshold (show) While it is a decent duplicate of the original, as many mentioned here, some things are missing. The power of cards, in general, seems to be reduced. Going insane is much worse, the insanity effects before made going insane for a few turns not so bad. The cards are much less powerful in general. Your power in relation to your opponent is much closer, especially with a few S wins, it can be greater. Your opponent also has the same cards as you, in the other game they often had a few better ones than what you had unlocked. What this adds up to is a much less Cthulu-esque game. In the original you had to risk playing powerful cards that could drive you insane just to bring down your much-more-powerful opponent who could play even stronger cards you hadn't seen yet without much trouble. That really captured the genre; you often needed to risk everything for a chance at winning, which could be knocked away if you weren't lucky.

Under rating threshold (show) can you update the game please? The pace is great and the variety of attacks are fun, but... 1)MORE CARDS! Quantity, varirty, and type! there are only two Character cards, two different types of tomes, etc. 2)The creature defense is confusing and inconsistent. Sometime one will disappear, or both, or none at all 3)stack tomes! 4)the Whatley character card doesn't return the taint after it is removed once. 5)all thirty rounds are basically the same, just more life, magic, etc. Maybe add challenges or MORE CARDS. Better yet, introduce new cards of increasing power as the rounds progress. There is little incentive to slog through 30 rounds when they are all the same. 6)there is no way to eliminate opponents' arcane magic 7)bring back insanity effects (I know we've all heard this one already) This game is soooooooooo close to 5 stars. Thanks for the effort, hope to see more soon!

Under rating threshold (show) I LOVE THE NEW LOOK! It may seem a lot more complicated but it all adds attributes and bonuses that are always adding to gameplay. And if the insanity conditions are missing, that should be the next fix, that's for sure, because it adds another facet to the gameplay!

Under rating threshold (show) To add my voice to the choir, I really believe that making your own deck would be great. The last game's system made it seem a lot more fair. As is, I really want to change the deck so I don't get constantly screwed by a lack of offensive cards (I went for five turns before I got another card that could do damage in the last round)

Under rating threshold (show) This game is getting ragged on a bit, and God knows I love to rag on games, but I don't agree with the masses. The addition of great old gods popping in to ruin everyone's day if you use too many powerful cards was brilliant, and balances out the loss of random insanity (which is a shame... but idiots complained about that in the first game!). The new cards are cool, and the new categories are also cool (and, incidentally, almost let you weave a story together for each battle). The Lovecraft references, quotes, art work--all still great. All in all, another 5-star game, just like the first one.

Under rating threshold (show) Was so excited for this sequel... started playing, wasn't bad. Then one game my sanity finally reached zero. "Ooooooo" I said to myself, "I wonder what awesome game changer I'll get this time? Xenophobia? Schizophrenia? Some awesome Megalomania?" Then.... nothing. I just couldn't play cards until I got my sanity back up. I loved the original because sanity was more than just a mana point counter, it actually effected the game and gave it more depth than just "keep beating the enemy with the most cost effective cards." Is this sequel just a cruel joke from the elder gods to make me go insane from withdrawal of a true successor to the original?

Under rating threshold (show) I liked the old sanity system, where you get a random insanity with 0 and below. Now only suicidal and his randomness takes off a fun part of the game. It's good having character, location, etc...except tome, I don't see the fact that you can't read many books, and apply everything you learn. I miss old King in Yellow, Ibn-Ghazi, Yog-Sothoth, Shub-Nig, R'Lyeh (however it's spelled), etc. Multi-creature is nice, and star alignment is an awesome idea. But the game needs to be more challenging (it's VERY easy right now), challenge mode and deck editor if possible, to add or remove a few cards (a deck with only heavy hitters would be too OP). I also miss unlocking cards, challenges and cards library. If you do Necro 3, I'd take back the old insanity system and add more chars, locations, etc. Nice new ideas, keep the good work! Necro 1: 5/5 (Little evolved, is a good starting point) Necro 2: 3,5/5 (The insanity fun is taken off, very easy)
