Good images and good game play. Since this is the only game I've played from the series, I liked the occasional text: t was well executed and matched the images well without blurring into them/becoming hard to read. Well done - you've made a pleasant, enjoyable game!

Amazing artwork, touching story, and I love the way the whole story was told just through pictures. Well, almost. I felt the text took away from the game, and if I had been playing without the text, I know I still would have gotten the grasp of what was happening. Anyway, it takes great skill to make such a beautiful story (mainly) out of drawings. Great job. 5/5

I want to know the life story of the older son. What happened to the couple? Why are the house and grounds is disrepair? Why is he alone? This story touched me. I am glad the ending was happy.

That game was great! Probably could have done without the words. At least not have them take up as much space as they did. It was *BAM* READ THIS! before I could get to storyin :P

All three parts sum up in great, beautiful story, very well told - or you'd rather should say drawn. Few simple lines of text was a great addition, they don't brake anything, rather keep the story on right track (come on, he even dresses exactly the same and with witches you can't exactly tell the passing of time).

to be honest... I was a bit suspicious about the body. It didn't really look realistic in how it was positioned and stuff, if in fact she really was struck by lightning. But I'm glad she realized she was wrong in the end. And as for her elder son, I did think he was the villain, thinking that his politeness and all that was all an act. Boy was I wrong... ;o

I thought the use of text did not "detract" from the game at all. I was thoroughly confused about the son in the manor and I think it was better to explain that with text. It brings more life into the story when there is text.

SPOILER ALERT
So, maybe I'm just tired right now, but I still don't understand why she pretended to kill the girl in the first place...

I was going to agree with those people who said the text wasn't necessary, and detracted from the pictures . . . until I read the comments from the people who didn't understand that the second old man was the witch's son, and thought he was her rapist (they do look alike) . . . so I guess the text was necessary. Beautifully drawn, especially the birds, animals and insects. The human characters are very expressive, but they look a little too much alike, which confused some people (a minor flaw in a great game).

All three of these are lovely, but the text in this last one really detracted from the story. It wasn't necessary. 3/5 because the useless addition ruined the flow.

Before playing the Child of the Witch series I'd never really enjoyed playing spot the difference games before, but these ones were perfect. The story telling was amazing. Whoever drew these illustrations is a bit of a genius.

I think also it didnt need the text, actually it gets in the way since on one of the levels a difference lays beneath, in some parts I had to do precise clicking
in the second game the owls glasses, I click in the middle and doesnt register unless I click on its eye, either way the story is so powerful I dont really care, putting timers and a score become meaningless really cuz the game is that great that you dont need medals. I find it better to just sit back and enjoy the story and art.

The old man in CotW3 is the witches' son that was taken from her in part 2. Question: In the last scene of pt.3, what is the young girl looking at???
