Good little tip, when buying consumables, load in on a level 1 char, and spam the re-stock for a lot cheaper with the same outcome as using a higher level character :) saved myself a fortune looking for those 'special' items haha

oh sorry i should of been more specific, i meant to say after you start a campaign you cant change it unless you abort your current game and start over or manage to finish the campaign and start another easier... but thx for the response anyways
You can change the difficulty each time you start a campaign, just click the 'difficulty' button at campaign selection. The difficulty screen automatically pops up the first time.

Has anyone been ambushed when you enter a potential ambush room. I want to no so either something could be wrong or I'm just really lucky

I cant get enough of this game. The plethora of loot as well as different party combinations give this a ton of replay value.

"DEVELOPER RESPONSE
FROM GARIN: Next game." Im glad to hear that :) RPG players just love talent trees and legendary monster wich this game sadly doesnt have, but still i gave it 5/5 beacause of the gameplay , so if you add this features to the next one i will for sure be my best-of-all-time game.

I have always loved RPG Dungeon type games, but this far beyond my expectations. There was so many options within the picking your team and editing, I spent almost and hour just on that! Excellent artwork and game play! 5/5 from me. Keep it Garin.

If only there was talent tree for every character that we would build for our team and every player would have different team, hours of playing and setting everything, now its just: 'get all skills -> max one stats'

When I saw the title I thought: "Monsters' den? Like from monsters' den the book of dread?" So I just had to try it because monsters' dn is one of my favourite RPGs

The next evolution of the dungeon-crawling RPG series. Customize and shape your group of heroes through an all-new series of adventures. Battle terrifying monsters and collect powerful loot. Sounds Promising.

Also when you rollover effects, especially with stuff like Impending Doom, it should highlight the creature that inflicted it.

A few things. 1) If a MENTAL condition is causing the person to flee and the condition is CURED surely the person should STOP running away? 2) Every now and again I just suddenly die or lose health in the middle of a fight. It isn't due to poison or ignite or anything like that. I've lost over 75% of my life on all 4 characters (i.e. instant death) while the turn counters have been going. It happens so rarely and I haven't been able to reproduce it so I haven't sent a bug report.
Has anyone else seen that health bug?
As far as 1), I decided to stick with the rule that once a retreat has started it cannot be stopped. The window to cure the character is earlier, during Afraid or Terrified (before Shatter Will is cast).

Im lovin this game. 5/5. One suggestion: Add the ability to sell items directly from the treasure chests - it's easy to lose track of em in the giant inventory. Also, the ability to group-select items to mass sell or mass move them would be very helpful. + if you agree

Ranger's abilities Hail of Arrows & Eagle Eye + Cleric's Anoint skill... combined with an item that increases critical damage is my way.

Just checked the Monstrum website, it seems there's work on a sequel that sounds and looks amazing already:
Monsters' Den: Godfall
There's a steam greenlight page in Greenlight>Concepts>Garin's Workshop, a bit early but I for one am looking forward to it.

on the description for "animate shadow"(Mage-conjuror) the description only says "a lesser imitation of himself", even though you can have a female mage now. not really important but I thought i'd mention it.
