The Big Hull is pointless, so are swords. Buy the gun powered hull, 3 multiguns, and the extra thruster. You basically either spin in circles shooting wildly or hide in a corner and kill everything that comes close. The map big balls, right near the beginning pays 1600 to 1800. Only until you get to the last boss do you want to sell all that stuff, switch to the energy ball hull, the plasma gun, and leave off the sides (thin is better). You basically move around the boss with the cursor on him and dodge the shots. You should burn him down quickly.

Haha... Anyone can do maths? Even you have more armour if you are bigger u get shotted more and u get more damage. If you want to prevent that u should sell all thoose stabilazers and buy armor plates. that will probably make you really stron :G

Oh god, and why would you make it so everything automatic fires in bursts? After seeing all these obvious, completely glaring flaws, I have to ask...what's wrong with you? I normally avoid saying things like that, but what would possess you to look at some of these things, and say "Yes, that is how I want my game to be. Nobody will have a problem with that.". Did you give the game to someone else before releasing it? Cause I feel like any other person would say the exact same things we're all saying here. I mean, it's obvious that you put work into the game as it looks pretty nice and all, but then why wouldn't you go the extra yard to make sure that that work wasn't ruined by all sorts of easily avoidable annoyances?

I guess I'm a little confused as to why you felt the need to not let us see skills before they're available; how am I supposed to know that it would be worth it to work up to getting, say the evasion skill when I have no idea what exactly it's supposed to do? Then, on top of it, you made it so that you can't reset skills, so even if I did work up to some skill to find that it's really not very useful, my only option would be to restart the game...and make armor worth more (or whatever the issue with it is). The final hull is a wonderful illustration of just how ridiculously underpowered armor is when you get teabagged, even with a full bar's increase in armor, due to, what, a small increase in hull size? Finally, it sure would be nice to know if you have no intention of updating this game, cause if that's the case I won't hold out...

Nice game all in all. The challenge level was too unbalanced, some levels being an easy sweep, others being almost luckbased. If it isn't already the idea, I would using the customization options that the bying/selling enables. If each levels had their different twist and then you would have to customize your gear just right to beat the level. That would be an interesting twist IMO. The boss-fights themselves were waay to easy and in the end the game became repetitive. Therefore i give you 3.45/5 (3) - And hope you can use the feedback.

Shouldn't have to turn off the music after every level. I click music off and it keeps coming back on after every level.

@SadOne and @GENRALISIMYS I also bought the most armored hull and if the dev's response is it's bigger so it takes more hits, than you grossly underestimated how much more armor and hp to give it because it's basically a piece of crap. Spend your 15k on other stuff. + up so other people don't waste their money like I did.

Extreme Combo!Front-Shield;Left-Multigun;Right-Multigun;Behind-UltraSucker.Stop time ability
Head always towards your enemies. You will get rid of shots and destroying incoming enemies and side enemies with multigun. Then stop time and kill front enemies to call a new wave.Boss battles are a piece of cake with this layout.Gunpower ball is perfect.Don't bother saving money since you can sell at 100% of value!

Well, this little game is very unbalanced and... primitive. White weapons are almost not playable (why the heck is there plenty of them, when they function almost the same?), most bosses are *very* easy (it's only the matter of big firepower, e.g. Multi Cannons and sometimes speed). Upgrades are unbalanced (not enough time and experience to max anything; I felt that no matter what I choose, for the gameplay it will be the same. So 2/5

The Boss Fights are too easy. Even final boss fight took no time at all, right after almost getting my butt handed to me by a bunch of little ones with guns the big guy dies in 2 hits.

Finished. Boss fights, including the last one, are the easiest part of the game. EMP is massively overpowered. 2-3 extra money to get EMPs early, then one point in each to reach evasion and dump all your skill points there. Hit slow skill if anything manages to get within site range (it'll rarely happen). That kills everything. Removing/swapping/selling the boss award items is extremely buggy.

Tip: Don't buy the Cruiser Hull ( the big one ) because even with the armor bonus, it is easier to die because more enemies are hitting you. I hate asking for plusses, but + this please, so I don't have to tell this to new players so much.

Music resets to on before and after every fight unless all sound is turned off. There's a lot of these rough edges. The game needs a QA pass. For beating it, take extra money skill several times, buy first money attractor (later 2nd or 3rd lvl), buy EMP once you can. Pair it with a long melee weapon (the 1k value one from boss is fine). Rotate in place to beat all non-boss fights. Circle-strafe boss fights. They're even easier, probably will take zero damage. [note: not gotten to final boss yet, so....]

Unlike every other item, hulls do not return their purchase price. It seems likely this is unintended behavior (a ball can not have no hull so they auto-swap instead of going to the gear "backpack") but it should either be fixed to work like everything else or have a warning/explanation. As it is now it can eat thousands in an instant. Heck, keep buying the standard hull while already using it and it'll bankrupt the player. There's no way that can be intended.

Came across another odd glitch with the game whenever you go from the map to the battle screen and vise versa, if you have the music muted it un-mutes again once the screen changes

OK, restarted this game, and avoided buying the giant hull. Was fun, but a little easy -- know something is wrong with that hull when the game goes from frustrating to easy just because I didn't get it. Also wonder if the Slo-Mo skill is broken. It's so cheap, that with one upgrade to Battery Level I was able to use it over and over with almost no break. It's hard not to win when everyone else is standing still and their bullets are frozen.

I really enjoy this game! My only suggestion, and it's a technical one: there should be some way to limit the maximum volume of the samples played when firing a weapon. Playing 2 times the same audio sample causes it to be played twice as loud. Using a limiter in the audio engine should help this, I think :)

Is there a way to turn off the loud sound effects without turning off the music? I found a button that mutes the music and one that mutes everything, but none that just mute the SE.

Energy Ball, 3x EMP Gun, Extra Sucker (in the top slot), Armor Plate, Capacitor, Lens System, and Math Chip Z-2. Piece of cake for all the difficult levels. Stay at an edge and dance around to avoid enemy fire.

The game is fun however there are some glitches in the shop menu such as the preview window doesn't show some of the equipped weapons some times and also i just bought a big mom and equipped it after selling a bunch of gear to get it and then it just disappeared and an auto gun appeared in its place..

Sigh it was good until i found a extremely annoying glitch, i have a flamethrower in my first item slot, i buy a sledgehammer and it appears in the place of my flamethrower
net loss of 4.5k wonderful now to do earlier stages 5 more times to get my cash back thanks =[

the cruiser hub takes more damage because not of its speed but its area, witch is VERY large so it is easier for you to catch bullets and more bullets=more damage so either use shields, upgrade speed skill alot or buy a thruster.+ so people can see
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
from experiments with different weapons i came to the conclusion that the EMP gun is the best gun and combined with the capacitor and energy hub they can become virtually unstoppable
when equipped in strategic places + this so people can see

Great concept, grid upgrades (to place more stuff, perhaps even linking for example weapons and gadgets) and better weapons would be my primary suggestions for a sequal. Internal upgrades (with perhaps armor in this category) would improve gameplay without too much programming. Replaying levels on a higher difficulty seems equally simple to program and again would improve gameplay.
