Need a save option and for god sake some help for what we are looking for... a deo + lighter to burn a cat... just how da hell i'm suppose to guess that ?!

Amazing game, sometimes it's a bit too vague on what you need to do next, though.
And the car mini game is easy, you just stick to the right hand side of the path when you get to the final 2 traps.
5/5

This is a great game, and I'd like to see more like them, but on one condition.
BETTER PERSPECTIVE. That remote control car was the WORST part of my day, and I was stung by a hornet.

Damn, the control interface on the TV is annoying. I've been trying to pause the video on the "demon's face" for half an hour now and still no luck.

I get the impression this game was inspired by 'The Mist' a good watch for those who liked the storyline/setting of this game.

Well the game was entertaining. The closer you get to the end, right up until the end, it gets more messed up. But then, the final words. Yeah, it made me think...about how this game is less of an interesting thriller, and more of an exaggerated bible story. Where's Kirk Cameron?

Ambitious, but terrible game. Sure, it was cool to see people try for full animation and voice overs, but the result was pretty bad. Same goes for the story, could have been great if not for the gratuitous drama here and there, and the various plotholes other comments already pointed out. As for the gameplay, there's the two most annoying flaws in point-and-clicks: Pixel hunting for items, and retarded logic. Could I have taken a poster and taped it to the mirror? No, I have to BURN A CAT, while trying to, huh, kill flies? With a flamethrower? I dunno, 2/5 for the effort.

Good use of voices, generally very high quality voice acting, but I was bit confused by the mishmash of accents... Jonathan sounded like an American trying to do a "British" accent, Amy sounded Antipodean and why was Rick Dutch?! Great artwork and the animations were pretty good. Storyline was a bit silly but the atmospherics made up for it. The scene with the cat was unnecessarily played as a slapstick moment, and the mini-game with the toy car was the most frustrating part for me... And as others have said, needs a save option.

Great game, up until the car driving part. Absolute crap. If I can go straight to get to the "shiney object" why can't I come straight in the opposite direction without setting off a trap? Garbage.

The story was great, but the minigames were a little tedious and you should have been able to skip them. They were easy and time consuming, the kind that just...blah. Enjoyed the graphics, was surprised by the eyes-hanging-off-of-head truck part, nice ending. 4/5

I felt sorry for the lady at first, since the guy is such a dick, but then she confessed to not liking cats. Screw her !

Great game. Creepy and captivating. The minigame with the car is frustrating though. I agree that this should have been doable with sticks and stones instead.

Im really impresed by the effort you made by making the voice acting realisticly. Rick giving a Dutch voice, in a english game made it really realistic. And the game is great as the graphs. 5/5

What the hell, i went through all that trouble to get the first aid kit then its just no use anymore. I mean like WTF they might have been able to save Jonathen. And Seth is the bastard, not Rick.
Rick was cool man and him dying was not. R.I.P Jonathen the suicide and Rick the dutch druggy

the boot? Seriously? i never would have thought of that meaning "Trunk" if it wasent for me randomly clicking everything with the car keys.

Great adventure only it had some holes in the scenario. Why were these creatures killing people (they didn't even eat anyone so it wasn't to feed themselves), why were the people becoming "zombie"-like (usually that's because of a virus but the monsters were replicating with eggs, not parasitically), and how on earth could Rick still make a sound with his vocal chords when he his whole torso was split in half? You can probably answer all my questions with "it WAS the apocalypse" but that's just lame. I really hope that's not the answer.

SPOILERS...you have been warned...Zombie apocalypse meets religious homily - someone else might have made it work but you didn't. Yuck. Vulgar and needlessly, sensationalistly grotesque. Example - IF Jonathan really wanted to be dead, he wouldn't make his wife shoot him and burden her with that awful memory for the rest of her life. No one who is still a human inside would. He'd go off into the woods and she'd hear a BANG and that would be it...A little Stephen King goes a long way, and you put in way more than you needed to. Still, there's some potential. Some story ideas were good, and I liked the voice acting a lot - even after hearing it a bunch, "Uh, ma'am?" still makes me smile...

5/5 for the game, although it's just a copy from King's "The Mist" with an open-end. Hm, yeah, I would've liked a lil bit more of your own inspiration, but, honestly: For a clone, it's 5/5.

Apparently, I asked around about the first aid kit before I was supposed to, and got awfully stuck. Had to look up the walkthrough and restart, though I did absolutely everything else correctly. Silly me, I should have realized that letting my klepto- and pyro-mania run wild in this little convenience store was clearly of higher priority than asking around about the first aid kit my husband clearly needs.

Wow. That was suspenseful. That was amazing but I hate saying so cause it wasn't a happy ending. Had to use the walkthrough cause I sucked at this game but this was still great.

I remembered playing this game years ago and I absolutely loved it that time. Sadly, I didn't manage to remember its name properly that time. One day, I just feel like playing that game I love years ago, without knowing its name. So I just searched from the horror tag on jayisgames site (why I didn't search at this site is a mystery to me. It's much more easier to search from tag here than there). I spent quite sometimes searching just for this one game I remember vaguely from years ago. I was so happy when I somehow manage to find this game at last. This time, I burned the name down into my brain, because this game is just that awesome. I love almost everything about this game. The art really fit the story, and also very nice looking. The voice acting is quite well done. The story is rather unpredictable. I just love this game. Awesome game! 5/5
