if you upgrade the lazer defense to at least 4, you can stay alive for a while. also, i found a glitch where i pressed the thermonuclear detonator and the game froze. help guys?

Greg honestly, this is the greatest game of all time. Graphics are amazing, i didnt know 3-D of that caliber was even possible on kong. Multiplayer was phenomenal and the music of each stage/world was impeccably orchestrated. 5/5, although i'd give you more if it were possible.

Wow! It has such an amazing story filled with drama, action, and suspence! Each character has such a developed personality! Never before have I ever been connected to characters in a flash game! This can't even be classified as a flash game! It is art! This game gets a extremely well-deserved 5/5! Great job Greg! (I expectially love the twist ending!)

Oog... I was having fun until that giant alien ship blew up my entire fleet before the seventh boss for a 1 on 1 battle... Until then I was using a tactic of placing 3 spawner turrets on every minefield and upgrading their unit damage and firerate evenly, then evolving them to stardocks when possible. This allowed me to hide behind the frigates built from the docks and snipe the enemies, thus it never occured to me to upgrade ship armor, respawn time, or planet health, which made it easy for the boss to kill me with that first laser attack.

To beat level one get the anti buculotar and get the nuclear shells and shoot the moon. On level two get the dual SMGs and goto mars then shoot down that flying suacer. On levels 3-5 just kick ass with your nuclear shells, on the final level upgrade your health to the max and stick the thermal nuclear device mutitions inside the Para-98 turret. The fifth boss is so hard to defeat thanks for the tip crocodileman94, i love the graphics on this and can't imagine the time that went into making this! My advise is to upgrade thermonuclear cross grid and repeater, the game doesn't take long to understand and anyone one could play it. Maybe add hotkeys? oh and and don't use the thermonuclear detonator untill your just about to die, as it cost WAY to much and destroys most of the surrounding turrets/mine deployers or drones. should be made easier to dodge final bosses bullets, didn't have too much trouble with fifth boss but it would probably be funner if you could dodge bullets more easily, but Greg probably made it like that for a reason. again exelent game with atleat 2 hours playing time in it, and it kept me entertained all the way through. 5/5

5/5, I figured out my previous mistake! I had been focusing on increasing the level of my lasers, but you can't forget about your infrastructure either. Man, the cut scenes are beautiful. My only advice for people is don't give up on the early levels. Once you figure out how to set up your planet the levels go faster.

Wow. I wish that I knew how to write a code of this caliber in UNITY. I had absolutely no idea that this was possible in flash. Takes forever to load, but definitely worthwhile. I made it to wave 12, when the EMPs crippled my force-shield barricades, the cluster missiles destroyed my laser defenses, and then the three kozmo nuke bosses ripped the planet to shreds. I love the feeling of stretching the resources as far as they can go, all the enemies incoming and you being unable to stop it. I wish that all games on kongregate flowed as well as this one. 5/5 for sure.

This game deserves an award, 100000/10 wonderful, SO realistic I forgot were I was. This game saved Kongregate. Dieing over and over... and over... very fun. Just perfect in every way possible to the point that the human mind can't comprehend it.

Can anyone help me?
When i cryoblasted the nucleartroopers on level seven wave four, my microturret kept running out of ammo. I tried refilling the energy core, but the battalion squad kept killing me. I travelled to the main missile defense base, but I didn't have enough credits for a new one. I have a save point but I keep getting stuck. I think I should just go back to sector 5 and train to raise my ammo capacity, but I'm afraid of the spectres. If they use their pyrolaunchers, I don't know what to think.
If anyone can answer my questions:
How do you upgrade the microturret's ammo capacity past level 50
Do the spectres on sector 5 have pyrolaunchers
And How do you beat level seven wave four?

The easter egg on level 7 was hilarious. It's amazing how great efforts in game design can come together with music (read: full orchestra) to create a game as relevant today as it was in 2007. The details are astonishing.
Note on level 13: If you cross the border early on, the second half should be a breeze. The upgraded Para 98 also helps, as others have pointed out.

Guys, major hint for level 14, upgrade your flux capacitors to the max and then fully upgrade the sonic freezer and the PBP missile system everywhere. then get more flux capacitors and more freezers and PBP missile system. But don't let the PBP's attack constantly, toggle them on and off to fully use their AoE capabilitys. after which you have a solid defense, get some quantum shifters and particle sniper to stop that nasty wave 4. On level 15, save up you money and use it to buy the anti-matter gun, then get the para turret defense and lots of flux capacitors. The anti-matter gun should get the bulk of the waves while the para turrets will finish them all off. But on wave 7 save up for the gravity manipulator and max it out !WARNING! put it in the middle! their is an ultra strong boss and you will need the gravity manipulator to hold him off long enough to destroy him, and he is immune to freeze so don't try that. I hope this helps with the passing of the game!

The scope and depth of this project is just mind boggling.
On level 18, I caused the time-stop droids to overlap their beams, and the game suddenly froze and I ended up in an old fantasy style setting. I had apparently time traveled?! Anyway, the rest of the game 40+ hours played out in the style of an epic old final fantasy game.
I mean, who expects that level of depth in a TD game?

Incredible catchphrase to round up an incredible storyline, kept in perfect line with the dazzling graphics of this fast paced game. Keepu up the good work, Greg, we'll be waiting.

I'm stuck on Lvl14, wave 6, where the EMP aliens destroy all turrets, because then they can get past easily. I tried using the 'repair' ability(the one you get after finishing lvl 11), but it blew them up instead of repairing. Is it a glitch? HELP PLZ!

If you charge up the flux capacitors to maximum 10 times over and then use ultradimensional thunder launcher 3 times, it unlocks infinite ammo! Just thought I'd share. :D

yes! just beat wave 90, I upgraded my flux plasma BFG9001 to level 14.78 and bought a chuck norris ray in, but then they used their evil lolcat ray on me and I lost 190hp and my mp, zp,fp,ap,kp,jp, and l levels were reduced to 5!! But can you belive I got 1337 lmao coins off a roflcopter boss?

4/5, I can't get past wave 6. This game really knows how to frustrate a dedicated fan. You can't help but come back to the addictive defense action, and the plot isn't bad either. Also, the multiplayer servers are always empty. Why doesn't anyone play this great game anymore?

If you are having trouble with the game try upgrading your plasma and lazer turrets to level 3 at least because they are very usefull against Missiles and Aliens on the first 5 waves,after wave 6 upgrade your Astronaut Base because the worms from the Worm Hole will destroy your turrets if you don't have any astronaut.In wave 18 the first satellites will start comming so you will need the Hacker upgrade for the astronauts,after that you just keep upgranding you turrets until wave 30 where the Mother Ship will come for the first time,it is strong agaisnt everthing,only the Proton Cannon is strong enough,buy all it's upgrades,including the Ultimate that is very expensive but is usefull.At last but not least upgrade your missiles to Light Speed,,and after defeating the ship,the ship will release the Mother itself that destroy your turrets,you only need the Astronauts.

@hercludes recycle your suzno-creatle and by some dark matter engine afterburners.They give 200% fuel efficiency giving your bio-nuclear thermal thunder-stringer full capacity and you can still use the auto-regen net-xcer.Mining the dark matter can be hard,but if you use your dromas correctly it should be easy.Hope this helps you.

tip:combine the time paradox thingy with the Black hole generator.You'll spawn several holes if you leveled them enough.Also buy ion cannons until you can effort at least four of the most powerful turbolasers.For defense use rapid-fire quad turrets.Be careful with the starfighter on level 20,he uses proton torpedoes causing devastatingly powerful blasts which give massive damage.Hope it helps.Great game btw,I have amusement for weeks now.5/5
