Time Is Running Out by The Section Quartet came on while I was playing this, somehow giving me a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach--especially after discovering what one of the magazines actually says.
Wonderful game, definitely a favorite and worth the time put into it! Bloody creepy ending made "worse" by everything you learn.

I hold the #10 (not bragging) spot on all time and I can't seem to find a way to get 27 seconds on my speed run.
I barely made 44 seconds.

Ahhh, I love these games, the escape games, they make you think, and just in the puzzle itself but, the character and the backstory. The genre is brilliant as it is. And this hit my top 5!

they should have another type of game for these very special games such as: "one step back" or "the company of myself" which i recommend you try if you havent

but how do you get out? i got the map and i went to where the places the tvs were showing and tryed doing stuff to them. Also you could just squesh the spider with the bat you had b4 2 smash the wall

There are so many explanations of what happened, your part of a resistance using bar codes to communicate because only you posses the technology to understand them, and using this method the man your up against has found a way to capture you making you believe you being outside was inside an apartment and leading you into a small room of which you believed was outside. Or you could be a physco obsessed with bar codes and it eventually led you to an asylum. Any other ideas?

HOW TO GET THE SCANNER: Go to the computer and click the dots on this order: Red, Blue, Green, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow. Turn around and go to the door. Then open the letter and click on the scanner. Easy as that. To scan, click on the scanner and drag from left to right with the red dot.
Anyways, a good little brainteaser...

I won't spoil this for anyone, but this is exactly the kind of twisted, sick game I love. I agree that it's a bit like Alice is Dead in that way. Adding to favorites...

Oh crap. I find myself with slightly damp eyes.
These sorts of games always make me horribly depressed. It reminds me very much of Alice is Dead. But thank you anyway. <3

Nice start... I love those HD graphics a lot :D
But sadly the Barcodes don't do anything and must not be read.
Also the magazines, TV, microwave, heatingplate should interact. Also the bath is so useless with just the pills in. Keep at it :)

Very touching. Shows how peoples lives can be ruined by a heartless monster only to try to escape captivity and be captured yet again.

Just shows how people can be terribly cruel make good people go crazy. The world needs more stuff like this. Not crappy TDs that make people sit in front of their computer for hours without purpose.
