I see. Same way you solve the puzzle to get the key, you do the same on the computer, and get the scanner. If you break the wall before getting the scanner you won't get 30/30.
Think about the ending, and the meaning of the bars becomes clear. Alas, given the Stone's quote, I wonder if this isn't just as the ending implies, but rather deeper than that: hell. It would seem that 'The man of wealth and taste' could well be tormenting your soul with bar codes and lies. The deceiver, right? Everything I tell you is a lie?
Wow, great game! Timely too.

good game, but it needs a walkthrough for people like me, who cant figure out anything except that you can pick up pills and bats

Nice ending. I don't like the- ehm- not-so-detailed drawings. It was hand drawn. I feel one of the Reincarmation games would be a good example to try to be like. For the effort of 1 single person doing this, I give it a 5/5. Great job!

I don't remember the last time my TV worked. I think it was 2008 American Idol when I threw a brick at it when David Archuletta lost...

for those stuck, at the computer, follow the instructions on the sticky note by clicking the right colors in the right order. you will receive the scanner, which you can complete the game w/o.

I find the lack of graphic detail and color adds to the meaning of the game. He says that he doesn't do anything anymore and that so much time has passed that he doesn't remember any details about himself or of the objects around him (the pills). I think the spiraling hallway especially holds a deeper meaning as it portrays how he is spiraling out of that comfortable illusion and into a harsh reality. The barcodes could be his subconscious talking to him but he can't understand any of it until he gets 'the barcode reader’.

It was kinda scary for me while playing. The zebra scared me because a sentence popped out saying: THEY ARE ALWAYS WATCHING YOU. I thought they were watching me right at that moment through the zebras eye.
