Great game! Unique puzzle design, not too hard, but definitly still a challenge. Amazing story concept and I definitly had an emotional connection.
Nice work. Kudos!

I love the concept. It's difficult, but not frustrating, and it really makes you slow down and think about what you're going to do.

Love the concept, and execution; What a beautiful game. Although I was hoping that upon completing all the main levels, that we would be able to hear the poem read together, as it was very well read.

this game proof how it is not necessary that a game should have a graphics exaggerated neither an gameplay out of the ordinary just a brilliant idea as background

It was a fun, and interesting, but the visual theme, I feel, clashes with every other aspect of the game. Why am I a child with an oversized baseball cap, in these sunny fields?

My four year old and I played this together and it was a great exercise for both of us in terms of spacial recognition and control in multiple environments that aren't necessarily or immediately apparent. Great work. 5 stars :D

To be honest I like the concept more than the game.
My major gripe is I often can't find my feet making it difficult for me to judge where platforms end. If the character shuffled his feet or had flashing shoes or even just a spinning circle under his feet this would give a cue at to the pane he's standing in.
Secondly I battle to tell which pane follows which. Sizing the borders up so there is overlap with what's visible in the panes would help. Alternatively the backgrounds needed to indicate more strongly what was what. (I hate leaps of faith).
I went out of my way to guarantee there were no leaps of faith. Sometimes it's definitely tricky but there's always something telling you where the next fractured piece is. It could be a movie poster, a lamp post or a tree's leaves just barely stretching across two pieces. There's zero leaps of faith required in the game to finish it. Sorry you feel that way.

WOW!! Just saw Fractured 2 on the main page and went back to this one to play it first... Must say, I'm VERY impressed... I'm a huge fan of puzzle plataformers and I must say this is a awesomely thought brand new mechanic. Congratulations! Just some suggestions: "R" for retry, stage selection, whole poem available when done, some bonus poem line for the challenge maps! Anyway, 5/5 for the originality and all! Thanks for the amazing mind bending situations

Right on. I'm glad you enjoyed it. It's a little late to add any of those features now but I'll add them to my growing list of requests for any games moving forward.

Good game, if not really my style. Made me a little queasy, as most games with frequently changing spatial orientations seem to do. Still, keep up the good work.

Do you think you can put a main menu button?
Also, once you beat the game, there should be a way to view all the pieces of the poem. As I was playing I listened to them, but I want some time to reflect on the entire thing =P

For people who want it, here is the poem! NOTICE: This could spoil the game.
i hope and pray that i will find
the child that i have left behind
for as i hear the madness gloat
a frightened scream rips from my throat
a child's love, with blind ambition
against my panicked admonition
into the heart of evil's lair
i battle on, without despair
and search and wander as i might
i see no ending to my plight
there is no point in searching more
for i'm the one he's searching for

THis game right here...This is absolutely a work of art really. I felt myself jumping through those platforms as the child myself. IT had an abstract grip on reality, but that grip was lost quite a few times when you had fallen and had to restart. YOu really need to have an open mind to play this game right, and if you think for a second, it will be easy, you are sadly mistaken. THe quotes at the bottom even made me feel like the whole story line was worth getting to the next page for. I am driven to give the 5/5 for you GRoZleR, good effort on your part, and an excellent story line for those of us who enjoy a good game. I hope to see more like it from you. GOod job.

i love the game. original concept. and i love (well, the masochistic kind of love...) how in the end you leap blindly trusting the game to make you fall in to the platform, and then realising you leaped to your death. feels simbolic, and a great corelation between the meaning of the game and the game mechanics. 5/5

I love the concept of this game but i think there should be more and harder levels but i guess level difficulty is kind of hard to predict with a game like this great game though im hoping for a sequel :D
Difficulty, especially with this mechanic, is exceptionally hard to gauge. Some people just "get it" instantly and are flying through every level while others are struggling by level 3 because they don't realize how the background props are giving them hints.

I love the game mechanics. I love how smoothly the jumps and movement feel. I love the concept. I love the music. I love the rhyming that goes on with the levels. I love the idea and how you realized it. It's bittersweet and atmospheric, there's no rating high enough for this.

WOW! Great game, VERY original, love the music and the voice acting. Any chance I could see that whole poem at once after completing the game? :) Off to play bonus levels, 4/5!

Very cool idea, I love completing a level and then seeing it reassemble, since it completely changes your perspective on it.

What an inventive gameplay combining puzzle and platform! I also liked the music and the female voice reading out the lines :) Good idea to add the trickier bonus levels! Thanks for that nice work!
