The game made Me realized how much relations are important and that we have to make the most of them while they last.Great game.

i waish at the end i could read everything that was said at the bottom, it was too hard to keep up with what was being said and solving the level at the same time

To be honest I like the concept more than the game.
My major gripe is I often can't find my feet making it difficult for me to judge where platforms end. If the character shuffled his feet or had flashing shoes or even just a spinning circle under his feet this would give a cue at to the pane he's standing in.
Secondly I battle to tell which pane follows which. Sizing the borders up so there is overlap with what's visible in the panes would help. Alternatively the backgrounds needed to indicate more strongly what was what. (I hate leaps of faith).
I went out of my way to guarantee there were no leaps of faith. Sometimes it's definitely tricky but there's always something telling you where the next fractured piece is. It could be a movie poster, a lamp post or a tree's leaves just barely stretching across two pieces. There's zero leaps of faith required in the game to finish it. Sorry you feel that way.

this game is really cool.Something different from regular platform games.should have tried to go on for better more good graphics and detailing.
For me it's more fun to explore a story than be told a story, so I left it a bit ambiguous. Sorry it didn't ring true with you but I'm glad you enjoyed the rest of the game.

This game is beautiful. even before the bonus levels, I already felt a drive to go on, and yet a keen sense of despair and dread.

this is easily the most unique platform game ive seen in a long time and there are a lot of them so thank you for the unique game 5/5

Wow! Very original. I could not quit until I was finished. This is my first comment ever for a game, and this one deserves it.

This is the most beautiful game I've played in a long time. Every aspect of it is simple, but it still stirs up so many feelings. It may have only taken a few minutes to beat, but it still felt harder than most of the games I've played, without ever being frustrating. I have no idea how this game is rated anything below a five.
I'm glad you didn't get frustrated. I definitely wanted to avoid that feeling of hopelessness. Sometimes you just have to take a breath and take a fresh look at the screen to see what you're missing. Thank you for your compliment.

Where is my Heart? Clone. Pretty well done though.

That looks really cool with the way you re-arrange the screen to progress. I don't think it's a clone though. Similar screen-manipulating ideas though. I'll definitely watch that project, thanks for pointing it out.

I can't tell if it's loading, not loading whatever. The title screen has no indicator on load progress and no play button.

Absolutely FANTASTIC! Insanely clever and beautifully designed. The difficulty progression was perfect, it got harder at just the right rate to not create frustration but allow you to love and look forward to the next challenge. I didn't want it to end. Originality factor is through the roof. 11/10 I hope to see sequels

First platform game in a long time which got me hooked. I actually feel like playing the extra levels instead of ditching the game after completing.

I enjoy the concepts (both gameplay and narrative) a great deal. I was able to find my way around by either analyzing the shapes of the pieces or occasionally by simply dancing on the edge of my current piece until I figured out where it connected -- and there's something to be said for the image of a boy whose world has literally been shattered trying to find his mother. The music suits it, the sound syncs up well, and the graphics are nicely done. On a mechanical level, the game handles nicely, though the ceilings have an obnoxious habit of hanging too low and cutting off my jumps. 4 Stars, and I'll be watching you.
Thanks. Hitting your hit is definitely annoying. That's a problem with Flash games some times, I had to make the world 500x500 to fit inside a 600x600 Flash window. If I could've made the screen bigger, a lot more would have been possible. Thanks for playing.

Beautiful game, great atmosphere and love the puzzle, trying to figure out your way through a mixed up world. Looking forward to more games from you ^.^

I love the game mechanics. I love how smoothly the jumps and movement feel. I love the concept. I love the music. I love the rhyming that goes on with the levels. I love the idea and how you realized it. It's bittersweet and atmospheric, there's no rating high enough for this.
My original prototype actually had the pieces moveable but the game became a glorified jigsaw puzzle. I prefer it this way, as an exploration game with some puzzle solving elements. It's fun to mess with the player's head when the pieces are sideways or upside down. Thanks for playing.

Interesting mechanic, though too often it seems to fall to nothing but trial and error. This is only forgivable in that the game is short and failing holds little penalty. I found the poetry to be thoroughly groan-worthy - it feels like a high-school poem that's full of itself for being "deep". It adds nothing and it makes little sense; it was added to make the game seem "artsy", right? About the only thing it has is that it rhymes.
Nothing in the game is trial and error. There's always a clue in the background to help you out, be it a poster that's cut in half or the leaves of a tree that just barely tip into another fractured piece. I understand the poem isn't on par with Poe or Tennyson but it definitely wasn't added to make the game artsy. It's left there as a simple narrative instead of beating you over the head with cutscenes every 45 seconds. Thanks for playing. I appreciate your honest feedback.

i hope and pray that i will find -
the child that i have left behind -
for as i hear the madness gloat -
a frightened scream rips from my throat -
a child's love, with blind ambition -
against my panicked admonition -
into the heart of evil's lair -
i battle on, without despair -
and search and wander as i might -
i see no ending to my plight -
there is no point in searching more -
for i'm the one he's searching for

Very cool idea, I love completing a level and then seeing it reassemble, since it completely changes your perspective on it.

A very good game : pretty cool and original game mechanic that allows you to make some very complicated puzzles, waht you have exploited very well. Moreover, this game has a nice and sobering storyline (so sad) and good music. Unfortunately, this game is too short !! I hope there will be a sequel !
Congratulation !
Thank you very much. It's a tad on the short side but I personally think expanding it too much wold drag it on too much. 18 levels feels just right to me. Thanks for playing.

Good but disappointng. The story was too abstract for me and there only every seems to be one fairly precise solution. One pixel or two off and you have to start again. It's not enough to be a dealbreaker but it turned a great game and okay game.
I'm sorry you feel that way. I don't think the margin of error is that precise but there were a few tricky jumps here or there. Thanks for your honest feedback.

WOW! Great game, VERY original, love the music and the voice acting. Any chance I could see that whole poem at once after completing the game? :) Off to play bonus levels, 4/5!
I made sure there were zero "leaps of faith" required to beat any level. Try looking at the way background objects are disconnected, match the top of a poster with the bottom of it. Trees and lamp posts will also give you clues.
