Game was fun until I started getting into some of the later levels. I don't like juggling, as it goes against what I feel to be the idea behind a tower defense game, and it is required for some levels. Then there's level 40. Juggling is one thing, and I can learn to deal with it. I don't like having to move my towers all over creation just to pass the first couple waves. I found level 40 tedius, frustrating and altogether not fun. Level 40 ruined it for me. Great game with a very interesting theme and upgrade system. Level 40 ruined it for me though.

A spawner took a left turn through a wall, and went off the screen. Now I'm done with all the levels, but the game is ending - I presume because that guy is still alive, somewhere.

For those complaining about ghost targeting problems - the solution is sniper towers beside fire-rate upgraders. Adding slow towers helps as well. The AI will target the ghost after a second or two.

Nothing i do stops the splitters, i've looked online, cant find any walkthroughs for them, i'd like to like this game, but it sucks because there is no way to stop splitters :(((

The game gets a lot easier when you realize that burst towers are the best killers, they relieve targeting issues, make a burst mega tower out of 3 burst and 1 slow, slow also targets ghosts which makes them easier to kill, especially with splash.

Make a 2 by 2 cube with two snipers and two rate of fires, form a tunnel to get things running smooth this method only applies to the open ones, if u get to the maxed speed increase you will dominate anything

After playing more, I change my rating from 3/5 to 1/5. Aside from all of the other issues (targeting - lack of it and lack of options which is unforgivable in TD games this day and age, anti-ghost towers failing to target, etc), spending all that time through a level just for something (usually a ghost) slip by and having to restart to get perfect, because of no save feature in the levels, is unacceptable. Decent start for a game but nowhere near anything that a self-respecting programmer should call complete or ready for release.

considering the original is a shooter, you would think this WOULD be one of the TDs that allow you to block the path. The harder levels shouldn't follow the same aggravating and senseless pattern any other old TD would have. They should involve the enemy beginning to use their own bubble tanks, and blocking becoming a necessary skill. Will you block with cheapy 10cost cannons at the risk of being overrun during micromanagement? (unable to plant a new one because an enemy is in the way) Or will you make your blocker on the main path a mega-mega and put all the little ones around the sides? This really should have played more like a defensive RTS and not a standard run-of-the-mill TD. I think they awarded this thing badges without playing it that far, the later levels are just kind of evil. The splitter bug especially means you can't just make a 'perfect setup' and come back in 20-30 waves like on say Bloons (one of the only reasons I got those badges was the nice gradual slide)

I love the butthurt guys that gave up on the badge of the day and bash the game. Spend a little time with it, and try to not suck at TD games! lol

P.S. There IS an update for this game. It's called Bubble Tanks TD 1.5. The link on Kongregate is http://www.kongregate.com/games/HeroInteractive/bubble-tanks-td-1-5. If you didn't like the bugs here, try that game.

Personally, this is very creative for it's genre, it really is one-of-a-kind.. It's too bad they went a little sadistic with the difficulty, but other than that, it's a very unique game.

I agree, this game is impossible, UNTIL you learn ho to juggle enemies. Once you've learned how to do that, it becomes too easy. Since you either have too easy or impossible difficulty, and nothing in-between, I didn't like the game, so only 2/5 Stars from me.

Oh..and this game is horrible. Either enemies have farrrr tooo much health, or towers do farrr too little damage. The first fixed level. I made them take as long of a path as possible. Most towers were at level 3 or 4, and it's like they were doing no damage. Almost everything made it to the end. It was a well designed level that I spent 15 minutes setting up...for nothing. Seriously...this is inexcusably bad. I can't put myself through 15 levels of this shit..how does it have a 4.16?!?!

Was fine until it got to where no matter how you placed towers you couldn't win without juggling. If you can't win by placing and leaving the towers its just wrong. its supposed to be a strategy test not a test of mouse clicking speed. 0/5. If I could give a negative score I would

Just had an enemy leave the battefield through the bounding gray wall. Beat the rest of the waves and now have to quit since the map will not end. A spawned monster glitched through the top wall of the map Shorty-Mc-Shorterson (ID 24).

How did one of the splitters in the Fixed map randomly ghost through my labyrinth of towers and ruin what could have been a perfect run? Why must you be buggy?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I always wondered, why can't you block the path? Obviously it would make the game too easy, but what's physically stopping you from doing it?

from first menu, the 'back' button brought me to... (refresh) dang it, I just refreshed because the replay window wouldn't go away...

3/5. quite a few major bugs (games not ending when they should and menus staying up sometimes) Aside from that, the targeting system is horrible, targets enemy in order they appear on the map instead of closest to exit, which is a really bad idea. The targeting issues is the main issue with this game.

Its not often I dont have the patience for a med badge and less yet when its a botd. But I have 9 of the 15 levels for the badge and I'm quiting.... too boring.

Not playing anymore. I get to the end of a level and every time a splitter "break" and hops over my maze wall. Sorry, but if you're going to make a maze enabled TD game, you need to fix the waypointing.

Putting a fully upgraded damage and fire rate tower near a sniper tower makes it have almost the speed of a machine gun with high damage.

If you guys ever make a sequel (which I hope you do) it'd be cool to have levels for the player so each stage is worth so much xp or whatever and after each stage you can buy upgrades (like a bonus to all tower's damage or a decrease in the bubbles required for upgrading a tower or increase fire rate of machine gun towers, etc) just an idea. I suggest this because this game by itself is a fine tower defense but just sort of falls a bit flat (but still a solid 3/5 in my opinion).
