Might just be me but the one-liners and insults are so weak and pathetic that it pissed me off enough to write this comment. That aside, more customisation (purchasing weapons instead of ships with preloaded weapons; purchasing ship sizes with more weapon slots but larger hit box; etc.) would have been nice. Otherwise nice game. 4/5.

insanely boring. I mean there's no challenge, I don't even dodge most of the projectiles yet my health is rarely below 95%. it would be more interesting if these weak enemies came all at once in a wave, not like 1 then 2 then 1. also the developer seems to 'push' people into giving 5, and that is just terrible.

Ummm... where to start? Go google 'difficulty curve.' This game starts out stupidly easy, and ends stupidly easy. I think by the 4th level I decided I had to move my ship to survive the round...
The upgrade sequence is linear and poor, the flight zone is restricted to a small area though of course enemies can shoot you from off-screen (but you can't target them from off screen with seeking missiles).
The dialogue is pulled randomly from a set of strings.
If it weren't for the badges, would not have played past the 2nd or 3rd level.

It seems like 'Shock and awe' ship can cause a little bug: you can zap an enemy ship away from the battlefield/circle and it seems meaning you can't shoot them down. They fly back in eventually, but it takes a lot of time.

"We need your 5's and to increase the rating to make a sequel more likely" - Hero
No offense, but sponsors don't have unlimited funding, and the money Dev A takes is probably cutting out Dev B. That said, I don't think the promise of a sequel should be factored into the rating for any game outside of *maybe* chapter/episode based games.

I love games that let me play one handed and the AI 3100 lets me play with one hand and not even looking! Autofire and a custom cursor would be cool too, holding left click and trying to find the mouse cursor detract from gameplay slightly. I find myself running from the scrap metal thinking it's missles at times too.

I wanted to give it a 5 I really did, But the battle area just plain sucks on higher levels. The fact that I can only lock on things I can see on my screen and the the size is so small means I have to take hits just to use some of the secondary weapons. The circle also sucks up your specials if your to close to it. So 2/5

The enemy ships targeting is too intuitive. I keep thinking about how to be random with my steering and focus less on their demise. Good idea though.

@poyerter Don't forget the trailer of TF2! The job of the soldier is "shock and awe" if you're looking at the jobs of each unit.

"The game isn't just about "beating" it, it's about doing it in the way you like best. "
@Dev...then why am I trapped in a bubble circle strafing my @## off banging out to robo stripper music @_@! This was not the way the way I liked best =(. J/K...5/5. It was fun...though the mute button coulda been more handily placed in a direct path to the game. =).

Not surprised this game got badges. I couldn't be bothered to write a more entertaining comment now, but if you rate this comment up, I will at some point in the future.

I didnt realize you could buy ships or just change to another ship in the middle of levels until i tried to pause with P. Thats a nice little thing most games dont have.

I would have given this 3/5 because I didn't manage to make it 1/4 through the game before getting bored. However, I'm bumping that up to 4/5 for the AI that tries to aim. Doesn't do it well, but does do it far better than most games.
I'd say add the standard upgrades (fire rate, damage, ect.), and some special upgrades for each weapon/ship. Needs more customization, more options, more upgrades other than buy the next ship.

It's nice you tried to make a new series even if it does use the same engine as Bubble Tanks... instead even more Bubble Tanks. However I'll be looking forward to the same variety of vehicles as BT in the future.

Very clumsy controls. Needs an option to eliminate the mouse (thrust/brake + turning) or make the ship mouse controlled entirely (follow the pointer style, perhaps.) As it is, this is just not fun to play.

you can pause halfway through a mission, switch to a different ship, kill all the little ships, pause, switch back to a long range attack ship.

Awesome: simple retro-style easy to play, Unawesome: simpleminded retro-style stale plot. Quick fixes for the squeal on a budget. Make the game unfold piece by piece, give us some good reasons to fight, make us work for our ships by unlocking them after certain levels or achievements. We love it when you play hard to get.
