Easiest way to win is just never divide, and eat the opponent when they divide. Also, it doesn't matter if you get hit by a virus. Just eat a particle when you shrink and wait out the opponent.

It's very hard to kill anything in this game. You can't lose if you never split, so the stupid AI is the only reason it's possible to win... even so, it's extremely hard to catch all the tiny enemies running around before they grow a bit and become invincible again.

Need to fix the implementation: 1) Equal sized opponents should be able to harm each other some way, else it's a stalemate at max size until someone divides. This is a potential use for allies. 2) Abilities bar that changes is very hard to use, and it's unclear which hotkey is for what. Also the abilities are unnecessary and almost useless. 3) Eating microbes might work better with click to open and release to close the mouth. 4)On virus levels, allies are guaranteed to die and make more viruses.

This game could be awesome. But because of retarded movement pattern and the way you stop trying to eat something all the time you open the mouth ruins this game and hence making it an awful game
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The movement system leaves much to be desired, as more often than not, by the time you reach biting range of the enemy, you hit your cursor and are forced to stop while the enemy's free to go off screen. Having to click on the powerups is a bad choice when you use the mouse to move as well, particularly with the ever-previous speed ups. More often than not, each level turns boring as your enemy swarms around you and you travel around in futility. I can't say I had fun playing beyond the first couple of levels.

its a good game. only problem is i get used to the vivid color and when it switches every third level "AAAAAH!!! MY EYES!!!!!!!!!"

In Number 2 there should be 2 modes, normal, and virus, in virus you send in the viruses and when you infect a microbe you can control them and more always spawn, and you can spawn any microbe you want, so virus is like the sandbox.

This game is pretty flawed. For one, the abilities move up as you eat protein, which forces you to constantly be looking to the side to figure out what your about to you. And since the microbe follows your mouse, you are basically forced to activate them from your keyboard, but you have to guess as to which icon does what until you remember them. The speed powerup is actually more of an annoyance than anything because it makes your microbe spaz out when you move the mouse slightly. And the combat itself has no real challenge since you never divide and wait for your opponent to do it so you can eat him.

This game has potential with some modifications. At the moment, the massive disadvantage to splitting far outweighs any minor advantage.

Well, it wasn't that fun, to be honest. It was definitely tedious having to try to chase down the faster microbes. No real strategy involved, and the powerups didn't help at all (i.e. the size increase didn't really seem to do much, the speed boost made it harder to control, the dividing powerup was totally useless, etc). Neat concept but needs some work.

Okay, how about providing some more proteins when you are alone against 10 other microbes. Your rendered useless, and to top that they are faster than you to begin with.. I feel that this game is getting low score from me.

I beat level 12 by first maxing out my size, then getting infected with a virus and going to town on the enemy cells, never splitting, always making sure to eat enough to stay big. It's like taking advantage of a superpowered evil side, with all the benefits and risks.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
for the last level, just focus on getting big, then keep eating the little ones while trying to avoid the virus, when you do get the virus, you can get past all the others and eat the little red dots much easier. wait until your opponent splits, then eat them to win the game, remember that you have to constantly eat to survive when infected

Interesting concept but practice is...far from perfect. Eating an enemy is about the most frustrating mechanic I've had to deal with in a while. It's not all that fun to be honest...

Sometimes, the others microbes stay out of view on the sides of the screen, and they can stay there for some time... not a big problem but it's one!

''This is a virus. It can infect you. And enemies.'' (Next page) ''And will eventually kill you. :D'' What a happy ending...

Game plan: swim around, eating the occasional protein; wait for dumbass opponent to divide; wait; wait; wait; opponent divides; eat opponent; win; next level; same again.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
No this game IS somewhat impossible. Because it doesn't matter if you never devide. Some levels are ridiculous in the fact that they never STOP dividing. Not to mention your microbe won't eat things even if it's right on top of it. This game is a 2/5 at best for potential. The controls are quite shitty as is the response time. It would be fair if the AI of your divided microbes was equal to the AI of their divided microbes. So I'm just playing this game for the badge of the day. It's not fun it's stupid.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Level 2 was the hardest, simply because I had to wait for the enemy to divide and I could eat it. Took me 10 minutes. The other stages only took like 1 minute each. Pretty good concept for a game, so 3/5 Stars. It would get higher if there was a way to "attack" a large enemy, or continue growing even larger so you could eat an enemy eventually no matter what its size is.

The UI truly sucks, how is a new player supposed to know what the icons do? You don't even show the tooltips when the game is paused and you mouse over the icons.

It's not exactly true that splitting is senseless and that you have to wait for an enemy to split if you want to win. With splitting and Ally Explode, you can damage the enemies to make them smaller, or kill them outright, so that's one piece of tactic that works.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I don't' understand why the enemy can become larger than your maximum and you just have to wait for them to divide to win.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Apart from what has already been said for the divide mechanics, I add that the abilities are unusable. The tutorial does not explain how they work, and you have to hover your cursor on them to have a description - not a brilliant idea, in a game where your character moves following your cursor... and again, everytime a new ability pops out, the others shift down... so, if I glanced at my abilities and I saw I'm interested in the third one, maybe a second after I press 3, but then I should have pressed 4, and I split instead...

the way this game feels you may as well be playing dead drunk. the way you aimlessly try to eat opponents and how they can slither away so easily makes you feel so angry. i think my mouse may be damaged because of this game. 2/5
