Interesting concept but practice is...far from perfect. Eating an enemy is about the most frustrating mechanic I've had to deal with in a while. It's not all that fun to be honest...

Need to fix the implementation: 1) Equal sized opponents should be able to harm each other some way, else it's a stalemate at max size until someone divides. This is a potential use for allies. 2) Abilities bar that changes is very hard to use, and it's unclear which hotkey is for what. Also the abilities are unnecessary and almost useless. 3) Eating microbes might work better with click to open and release to close the mouth. 4)On virus levels, allies are guaranteed to die and make more viruses.

Sadly unplayable, if my mouth closes on a microbe, then it should be considered eaten. There is no way Im sitting here chasing these things for 10 minutes per level just hoping I get the perfect storm of speed and positioning the eat, especially when its impossible to lose.

This game is just horrible, absolutely horrible. Whoever gave this game badges is a complete and utter moron. This shouldn't even be allowed to exist much less be promoted.

This is the stupidest crap I've ever played. The enemies are programmed to move away from your curser and they do it so dang fast while my guy takes 5 seconds to 'bite'. Got to lvl 5 and just gave up on this stupid BoD.

I have rarely hated a badge game as much as I do this. The control is excruciatingly imprecise, which the computer does not suffer from. Once it's clear you've lost, the AI just taunts you, eating and splitting and eating and splitting, never going in for the kill. I want to punch this game in the face.

Seriously. The last level... 1v4 in the beginning with them being way bigger than you and invincible to viruses. Then the stupid eating mechanic...you are sure to be infected at some point giving you a timewindow of maybe 5 secs to eat split enemies before they are too big. And there is 4 of them splitting...that's fair.

What an annoying game. Can't lose as enemy can't eat you. Hard to win as enemy gets immune after eating even a single dot. Combine the bad control and it's really hard to eat both enemies after split before they eat a dot, become immune and then you just idle and wait for it to split, hoping you don't doze past several splits, which doesn't really make it any harder, just longer. Never got past first level, 1/5.

Apart from what has already been said for the divide mechanics, I add that the abilities are unusable. The tutorial does not explain how they work, and you have to hover your cursor on them to have a description - not a brilliant idea, in a game where your character moves following your cursor... and again, everytime a new ability pops out, the others shift down... so, if I glanced at my abilities and I saw I'm interested in the third one, maybe a second after I press 3, but then I should have pressed 4, and I split instead...

Very unwieldy controls. Eating an opponent is near impossible on some of the later levels, it's frustrating how abilities switch their positions so you might hit a hotkey and get completely different results than you expected...all in all, not my favorite game.

This game could be awesome. But because of retarded movement pattern and the way you stop trying to eat something all the time you open the mouth ruins this game and hence making it an awful game
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
According to the game I was already at level 4. Thanks for losing yet ANOTHER saved game when you badge something. It's WAY past time Kong worked out how to fix shit like this. It's gone beyond getting old now.

Okay, how about providing some more proteins when you are alone against 10 other microbes. Your rendered useless, and to top that they are faster than you to begin with.. I feel that this game is getting low score from me.

Love the divide mechanic... find myself doing better when I divide early to starve enemies on some levels, but stay big on others
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I loved the game, I just wish it was a little longer. Another thing I would like to see in a possible sequel would be upgrades for your microbe, along with the ability to unlock new microbes.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The worst thing about this game is that it's just total luck as to whether you manage to eat a few proteins early in the game. On higher levels, there are more enemies so you need more luck for proteins to pop up near you. If they do, you're too big to eat so you win; if they don't, one of your enemies eats you.

Game plan: swim around, eating the occasional protein; wait for dumbass opponent to divide; wait; wait; wait; opponent divides; eat opponent; win; next level; same again.

It would be nice to activate speed boost while in pursuit of microbes. I know numbers on keyboard are supposed to correspond to abilities, but how are we supposed to know which when everything is so chaotic? Also the destroy friendly for area damage is way to weak an ability to balance the loss. (if you can even catch your target in the first place) Same goes for switching microbe control. Since mouse controls the movement, it's nearly impossible. Especially when there's no differentiation between the controlled microbe and the rest of your team. After 10 mins or so on lvl 4 with no progress, I had to quit. You should at least integrate keyboard movement if you expect this game to survive. 2/5

Flawed, but fun. Dividing is actively harmful; the game would actually be impossible if the enemy never did so. The player has no real chance of losing as soon as they eat a couple of pellets. Even viruses can be held off indefinitely while waiting for the enemy to split into edible parts. If anything, the last level is easier this way, rather than attempting to dodge every passing virus. Still, it's a nice way to kill twenty minutes, and it's worth a lot of points for its length and difficulty.

This was awful... it's an interesting idea, but it just isn't working. The controls feel way too loose and catching smaller microbes is a chore instead of fun as they just do a 90 degree turn and I miss them. If I were to try this, I'd be killed immediately. Part of the playing field isn't even on the main screen, several times smaller microbes went off screen only to reappear after I left. The music is annoying, while the sounds were adequate. If you have a frantic type game like this, no one is going to have time to mouse-over something IN THE PLAYING FIELD (bad idea in itself) to read what each of them do. I'm sure some were useful, I never got a decent chance to try it. All twelve levels were just boring and the pointless division horse has been beaten to death so I'll leave it. 2/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
No this game IS somewhat impossible. Because it doesn't matter if you never devide. Some levels are ridiculous in the fact that they never STOP dividing. Not to mention your microbe won't eat things even if it's right on top of it. This game is a 2/5 at best for potential. The controls are quite shitty as is the response time. It would be fair if the AI of your divided microbes was equal to the AI of their divided microbes. So I'm just playing this game for the badge of the day. It's not fun it's stupid.

Whew! Lots of cat and mouse going on. When you're crowded by the opposition, sit back and let the viruses take them down for you. A very fun and frantic game to say the least!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
''This is a virus. It can infect you. And enemies.'' (Next page) ''And will eventually kill you. :D'' What a happy ending...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
the way this game feels you may as well be playing dead drunk. the way you aimlessly try to eat opponents and how they can slither away so easily makes you feel so angry. i think my mouse may be damaged because of this game. 2/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
A simple yet very fun game. I enjoyed every second of this game, yet my only suggestion is to improve the microbe on microbe combat which right now is somewhat hard because you have to touch the center of the enemy microbe to eat it. Maybe an option to set your controls to the keyboard. 9/10
