Ha, hard badge is easier then the medium one... cause of the crappy design and lack of balance. Such a pity - over 30 different towers, and only a few are of any practical use.

The last half of the game is a joke if you use the 3 way machine gun, both drones, and the air mines. v1.5 had a bad difficulty ramp, but this one, as long as you pick the right weapons you should do fine.

For the people that complains about "difficulty" just try out heavy cannon with sniping cannon and barrier decoy on front for the first 2 levels, buying a damage buffer whenever you can to fill the 4th turret slot, from level 3 onwards acid cannon + the same turrets mentioned above, it will be more of a chore to beat the game because you will be so bored of being so op, bye bye

Well it looks that I get into serious game-breaking bug.
I was doing campaigns, until to the moment when I encountered The Last Outpost. When I complete it... instead unlocked 6th campaign... I land into "The Last Outpost" mission again but from 9/10 wave...

This game is so gawd awful I had to post again. From the tutorial, to the menus, to the ridiculous increase in difficulty, to the horrific metaphor to shoot, to the constant waiting to shoot there is not one redeeming quality to this game.

The intro is horrific, I'm chasing the next button around. The "standard' machine gun is an absolute joke. Is it a pea shooter? Hold the button down so that it can weakly fire at a moving target? This is really, really bad. 1/5

Wow. I just one with one barrier and four mine fields super easily. Nothing can get through except in the very beginning when your mines are still rising for the first time.

Sorry to contradict Kasic, but you never have to use anything other than spread machine gun or trishot, damage boosters, and a shield. Save up to upgrade your machine gun damage a couple times then its rate of fire. Shields can't handle it and no other weapon has decent dps.

Don't listen to the majority of the comments. The spread machine gun is NOT the answer to all the levels. It cannot fight enemies with forward armor, which is the majority of enemies in the game. The best primary weapons are either the disc launcher or the heavy cannon, and there's a large selection of useful secondaries/passives/supports. Try some things out and find what you like - you'll know within a single level whether it's any good. Some of my favorites are the acid cannon, sky minefield, health/damage buffer, barrier decoy, shield gun, and time gun. Overall it's a pretty solid game with just a few minor inconveniences like the UI for checking upgrades and being unable to set your own hotkeys for turrets.

There are many fancy weapons without any need to use them. Spread machine gun + Barrier Decoy + Damage Buffer are all you need to beat this game easily.

How to make this game better: "wave x of y" to tell you how many waves you have to fight per campaign; less text-heavy tutorial; "!" next to "more" when you have upgrade points; auto-fire primary weapon

Game doesn't allow me to fight for more than 10 waves to destroy incoming Demo fleet with my upgraded gun. In fact, it never explains why my superior defences suddenly were defeated after wave 10. It is a shame such a good game has such a plot hole
on the good side, weapons are more or less balanced. Some are overshadowed (Decoy Gun by Shield or Solar Cannon by Apocalypse), but most are decent, and trying out different combos is fun

I would like for more weapons to be relevant. Secondary weapons are useless. I would really like to be able to play purely with that firegun, or purely with passive weapons on a level.

I broke the game, the first mission will only spawn one enemy and then no more spawn and I am stuck on the mission now.

the missiles dont despawn, so you could just have a barrier and then everything else missiles, which would cause the missiles to be available in advance for taking down bigger ships.

it's easy! just buy spread machine gun and 2/3 auto airship and 1 bomb drones. in the last campaign buy aditional 1 time gun and then 1 fire rate buffer. Always upgrade dmg or it's lost

i just love it when im stuck on a certain part and everytime i lose on that certain part neither do i get any money out of it nor exp for my towers tell me how am i supposed to defeat something with crap towers and no money? the reason im having this problem is that the enemy went from patricks level to goddamn hulk

The final boss (and first, actually) has multiple phases, like any other good boss. This game was amazing. And from the ending scene, I see that not all hope is lost for StormWinds 3.0 (I hope?)

repairing a barrier decoy costs as much as repairing a solar cannon.you see,some scrap metal costs just as much as repairing the solar pannel,the massive battery,the nano-tech and all the good shiet found in a solar cannon.i was like *facepalm* when i noticed.but still awesome game.

I like how the flying auto-ships' bullets stay still in the air when they fire but there is no target to fire at. The bullets just hang in the air collectively, acting like free mines.

Would be a good game but it needs a better menu to select the weapons, because searching trough a thousand weapons to whats what is very tireing. A firing arc and base hp would be nice before you buy and place a tower down, sucks to have a sniper all the way on top to only realize it can't shoot down.

Maybe in the next StormWinds (If there is one) they will allow the other turrets to operate themselves when you aren't using them. To reduce the chance of it being OP, make the AI controlling the turrets somewhat inaccurate.
