What?! Is level 10 the last level?! It better not be!!! * "turn page" button appears * Okay good, now I don't have to strangle the designer :D
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It would be better if the unit box didnt shut after you upgrade, it takes a while to reselect a unit, especially if its a soldier and they're running around. Sometimes I just want to be able to keep upgrading.

Really... such a decent game ruined by the precision required to click on things, drop things, upgrade things. SHORTCUT KEYS ARE A MUST.

Max out Dragon staff level before adding to anything else.
You gain mana so fast when you do you basically are spending the whole wave just trying to spend the mana as fast as you gain it.
Just finished wave 13 with 5 maxed out warriors 2 maxed out mages and 4 maxed out bowman and still had max mana(3800) to spend.
Dragon staff is worth it
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
after stage 7 the start is too hard, the difficult should increase after some waves, also the upgrade system need more attention, the mana cost shouldn't increase so much.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
you need to add a way to pause, and how the hell am i supposed to win when i do not have time to place any units at the beginning of the lvl 19
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
people who say barbarians is bad are so wrong, sure they are slower but they hit multiple mobs at a time and they have a way bigger push back then the paladins
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Also, the upgrade feature is atrocious. The soldiers move too fast for me to be able to do anything. And since they're typically constantly moving, I end up clicking on the wrong one, which causes the one I'm TRYING to upgrade to die.
Maybe have a mass upgrade button for each warrior class, so you don't have to try to click on the right one that doesn't sit still?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Also, the mana vials don't stay for very long. I barely have time to get them as they are sometimes hard to see.
And the starting mana for each level is impossible to work with. I can't upgrade any of my warriors because if I do, I won't have enough mana to use them. My staff is at level 10, and I'm only starting with 175 which only allows me to place roughly 1-2 level one defenders. And I get decimated. Either give a starting mana bonus for each level, or not make the mana regen bonus linear. I put 15 stars in it for it to only be at level 4? And I can't do anything with that because at Round Four, because I have level 0 characters. It's as if you're forcing the player to unbalance his characters in relation to the enemies.
Otherwise, it's fun. Wish the screen was wider so you had time to plan.

I think there is something wrong with the speed button. It seems to be out of order. I will click on the 1x speed, and it will be the slowest. But if I cycle through again, the 2x button is medium, while the 3x is slowest, and the 1x is fastest.

so annoying when you can't place your guys because of some glitch with the placement system. Let me drop them in wherevere and sort it out.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@ Sylithius at that level you should have lvl 35 dragon staff and your more important troops maxed. At the begining i just simply place a mage at the bottom level and spawn a axeman to push the enemys back then i upgrade mage to fire and put 2 huts on bottom and put mages in them, i would also use the rain spell accordingly if the situation looks like i might get overrun, id usually have alot of mana by time lvl 5 rain ended so i just fill my map full of fire mages and dont really need any ground troops then. Really lvl 5 rain spell is very helpful especially for end boss.

Some hotkeys would be nice. It would make summoning a lot faster. Also if there was a side bar with all your units that made it easier to click on them to upgrade. Other than that it's a fantastic game.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Tone down levels 28 and 29. Or at the very least give us some hotkeys. You are overloaded with enemies way too fast to deal with click lag and the low starting mana. It is extremely hard getting situated in such a small amount of time. These levels are completely out of proportion to the rest of the game.

Those of you having trouble getting started at the higher levels, try upgrading your first couple of soldiers to barbarians. The issue early on is that one or two enemies sneak by while your guy fights another one. The barbarian will attack multiple guys at once, hopefully giving you time to place a mage or another soldier before the enemies can get to the tower. Of course it doesn't hurt to have a little luck and get a potion drop on the first guy you kill :)

To supplement last comment:
The archer is ONLY...ONLY useful for the bosses...and that is it...YES he can attack all over the map and is fast, but he needs more dmg if he is going to pose anything in normal fights.
The fighters are actually the only character that is well balanced.
2 things, rebalance units, and increase map size (or increase difficulty...fire mage destroys EVERYTHING.)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Rebalancing for some units IS needed, as was stated the water mage is a bit pointless in comparison to the fire mage. Here's why:
1. Obviously Damage: The fire mage QUINTUPLES(5x) the damage of the water mage
2. Speed: The fire mage is also 2x as fast...so basically 5x2 already it does about 10x more DPS...and speed is a HUGE governing factor in the units especially if they're on the higher parts of the manor, the water mage can barely get 1 shot off before an enemy drops down, whist the fire mage can get at least 3 (200dmg compared to 2000 before enemy drop)
3. # of enemies: I can see the water mage's ability of hitting all enemies in a row being useful...if the map was larger. Either way, the fire mage can clear a row before the enemies step foot on it.

It seems players are down rating because they can't get pass a certain level. That's... well... wrong. Try shifting your skill points to staff level to increase mana regen and capacity. Then spam rain while placing archers/mages. Rain is almost infinite when used at level 0 with high mana regen. Your archers (can hit any row) or mage (single row) can easily be upgraded thanks to you regen. Now goodluck and give this game a 5 will you?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
wtf happened?! Suddenly everything is way to fast, I haven't got time to place or upgrade my units and can't get past lvl 15. I place a soldier, upgrade it once to palladin and there goes my first level on the tower...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
damn my bad needed archers at level 10 simply but how should anyone know it ??? specialy when til level 10 i only used fire mages
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
For those that are stuck with level 10, try building archers, they will start attacking the top enemies and they will come one by one, if you don't do this the stage will be endless.
The bug with mages is that common and fire mages kills doesn't count, do the fact they are counted as fire ball spell kills, as it says on the achievements screen. This is a bug.
+ to keep this alive if it helped you
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Theres a bug when you kill enemies with eg lets say magician and you kill 16 then in stats place you will see 8 killed by warrior and 8 by magician which isnt right since you never killed anything with warrior ( i had 700 warrior kills but i only used them once and killed bout 20 monsters)

soo i guess level 10 is best to play like that upgrade all taos and go sleep maybe it will be over when wake up hahaha
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The Fact that my warriors will not attack anything behind it is a big flaw taht need to be fixed cause it messes up the way i play...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Not bad, til I hit level 7 and no matter what, can't beat it. Mix of archers, knights, and mages(no matter how I have them) and there are just so many units I can't do anything. Was a fun game, til that point. Horrible upgrade system too(sure upgrading your base units is great, til they cost so much mana to be able to put them on the field that they can't be used). 2/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The barbarian is way too strong in comparison to the paladin. When upgrading your swordsman you essentially get to choose between 10 single hits or 10 all-consuming area strikes.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
So many things are GREAT about this game, the only complaints i have are about the bad reaction when i click on units to upgrade them, it takes multiple clicks but i'm not sure that that's your fault. However one thing that would be great is if you could add a feature that allows you to heal your level 5 upgraded units (hunter, berserker, etc.) maybe replace the upgrade button with heal and charge the price of the level 5 unit? In the portions of the game with severe lag trying to repurchase your +5 berserker while it is in motion is incredibly difficult and has caused many deaths. Other than that it's a great game. 4/5 unless the heal option becomes possible :) keep up the good work :)

......Unbelievable.Finally someone understands the importance of cuteness in a game.Love it.You'll be a great developer if you carry on like this.Waiting for future games!:3
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i don't know what you have done to improve performance... but now it's too quick.
At level 18 : i can't put enough soldier or mage/archer even if they are already upgraded at lvl5, the time to click or build and it's too late : goblin and ogre are already destroying the manor !!! i have more than 2000 mana and i can only use fireball OR slow ?? why not the combinaison of the 2 spells?
Lot of problem in speed adjustement, the speed of a game should be independant of the computer performance. with no hotkey it's really impossible to build or upgrade something in time... and i'm not a slow mouse user ;)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Agree with fuzzyfish. I'm putting all my points into the staff simply so I can afford top summon units in a reasonable timeframe.
Need to adjust either starting mana, cost of summoning *or* rate of mana collection to give me reason to play much longer.
